seem to have missed a season... I didn't read many of the emails - should I 
presume to summarise that the word shite was used very often, woeful several 
times and why do we bother used frequently?

[LU] humble lurking apologies

Sorry, I thought I would treat myself to almost a months ramblings in one go.. 
certainly better than watching our beloved Leeds. 134 emails... poor tbh... 
very very little on FIFA goings on I see so all watching 'Have a I got news for 
you', relatively little on Blatter being a twat but we all knew it, two 
comments on a Dr Mike comment.. blah, even Rich on Becchio was low key 
despite you crazy kids trying to get him started are we all just giving up?
 
Anyway, Ramadan starts tomorrow my fully stocked bar is available to non 
Muslims for the next 30 days or so if you are visiting. I note and if you are 
visiting Oman during 'their' holy month that eating in public according to 
Royal Oman Police is actually 'illegal' according to the Koran - I'm still 
checking the English translation for where the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) mentions 
that in passing.
 
So, onwards to another season of stuff

Just tuned in to read latest reports actually from last game as didn't even 
realise or care there was one tonight.
 
Redfearn says they paid good money for their strikers (Norwich) etc etc etc. Ok 
I'm just checking BBC stats, last game we had 3 on target at home and were 
outplayed, tonight seemingly we had one on target. We lost.
 
Now call me old fashioned.. but isn't the job of the coach /manager/gimp in 
charge the chap who looks at his various players in his training squad and 
says.. now who can hit a fucking barn door.. who can pass to said chap.. who 
wont fall over in a crisis or kick a bloke who runs past him in a crisis or 
attempt to parry because shots are so much harder now than when they had 
leather friggin balls and say right right... you lot.. You see all those 
poor (in some cases)  buggers who are watching you (20,000+) usually. You get 
paid a shit lot more and care a shit load less can you please pretend you give 
a shit for the shirt you are wearing... no, well fuck off then.
 
Next season I expect to see similar... I watched the Russell Crowe thing on 
Jonathon Ross... he is genuine.. He is a Leeds fan.. Cellino.. who knows... but 
ffs it has got to get better than this
 
I lived in Liverpool for much of my youth from Scotland, I went on a meet and 
greet with my uncle to LFC in 1980 when I was 14, I met Paisley, Souness, 
Kennedy, Dalglish etc. in their trophy room, they were all gentlemen and 
humble, I did a gig with Jack Charlton in Dubai many years ago... lovely bloke 
in fact I have met many guys over the years in what I did on radio and stuff. I 
met an ex FA bloke in Dubai last month who swears the best FA coach of al time 
is Sgt Wilko and he swears he has some serious dirt on LUFC... of course I 
would never tell you lot
 
Without pandering to the old school here, it used to be pride you played for, a 
team, a nation, a county even. Now quite frankly half these fuckers don't even 
deserve to clean the boots of even MAN Utd. IMO we need an old school guy with 
old school ways and teach these young fuckers a bit of respect and pride.. cmon 
Leeds United... as a Scots born scouse raised Middle East living old bastard.

Ironic, I hosted my usual quiz tonight and  a fairs cup question came up... as 
Leeds were fucking up another game in front of some Midlander type fans ( 
couldn't quite understand their accent - but generically it was about right). I 
mentioned we had won it twice as a clue but couldn't remember anything else

 I watched thus game closely, the upshot was that although in the UK I will
 not make the considerable effort to get to ER.
 It is abundantly clear that we have enormous problems on and off the pitch.
 Off the pitch we having a raving lunatic interfering and obsessed lunatic ,
 being hounded by the FL. I was in favour of MC but that is no longer so.
 But on the pitch he position is far from good. Redfern is a great youth
 team couch.  He brings along players, he can rehabilitate players - at
 that he is excellent but... He is no coach. The team was hopelessly
 unbalanced, the attack was non existent . Whenever we crossed the half way
 line they looked lost and bereft of any ideas whatsoever. The forward line
 is one man and that is mad. No striker scores with no service.
 For far too long we've held out because the goalie is sublime. He has one
 weakness -- handling corners or crosses into the box. And Wolves worked
 that.
 I am am now amongst those who think Redfern is not the answer. We need a
 team coach, not an improvisation. The whole team is improvised.
 Having said that the buying has been wasteful and abysmal. So if that has
 been removed from the managers compass then ipso facto that has failed. Why
 are there no wingers.
 So we need a shake up from top to toe. We will loose young promising
 players because of the chaos.
 In a dream world we get rid of Cellino and his purchasing team, get in a
 solid UK manager cum coach who knows the division, back him and get us out
 of it. Hope fully keep Redfern as the Youth and development supremo.
 A dream scenario -- but we only live in nightmares. But if we see the same
 crap and no changes we are relegation fodder next year.

 With Millwall also winning it does not do much in some ways but there are a 
 lot of teams now fighting to avoid joining Blackpool and Wigan in the bottom 3
 A win on Sat would give us an 8 point cushion - we need to keep to the 5 man

 I also reckon Morison will get the goal that his play undoubtedly deserves 
 but since Millwall are his ex team he will not (be able to) celebrate

I for one have liked the new passing control that we have shown in the last few 
months. yes it doesn't always work and sometimes frustrates and I don't think 
we have enough good guys to play in that style but it is better than before 
IMO and we were a bit unlucky yesterday. I am not convinced by the defence tbh, 
too many mistakes just not good enough. I reckon we got a half decent young 
midfield but we need an older General in there. I like Adryan he has a touch of 
class. Antenucci too I do like as well. all in all a decent core, not brilliant 
but better than the last season or so.
 
I think mid to top half of table once the guys get used to Neil but I do think 
we could do something next season. Depends if the mad boss kills everyone, goes 
to prison, is kicked out or who knows what.
 
One thing, in spite of results I have quite enjoyed watching us the last month 
or so.

 I agree Nick, really disappointing result be we matched or beat them for at 
 least 60 mins - this season was always going to be about building a team to 
 challenge next year or the year after that - there are enough signs of 
 improvement IMHO. We undoubtedly have better players, but also a fair bit of

Mostly agree with reps but I thought Sloth moved forward, looked good and 
didn't pass array too often, I like him,  I thought Cook looked great and 
didn't give much away either, IMO he was great all game. 2 B's at the back need 
to pass forward better as they gave it away too much. I cringed at the name of 
Austin but agree he looked different class today but he comes and goes with 
performances, lets see how he goes next few games and Doukara seems very 
useful, he was keen ran around and was actively looking for the ball. I think 
Antenucci was poor in his delivery to Sharp but Doukara proved if you go 
looking you will get something.
 
Shit first half much more promising second half.
 
If they play like that again I might even listen and re-join the debate.

Regardless of opinions and we all have them, for me Liverpool have been the 
best team this year and deserve to win the League as the best footballing team 
and I hope they do and I hope Everton get into top 4 too. 
 
When I moved to Liverpool in 1971 at age 5 from Scotland and chose an English 
team it was obviously Leeds because we were the best and had some Scottish 
players obviously and my mate Kevin supported them and Liverpool were not 
destined to be huge for 20 years were they? I stayed Leeds loyal all these 
years because I am a stubborn twat.. a similar trait with several here although 
you may have been born in Leeds so have no choice... I have lived in the Middle 
East for the last 22 years... FYI.
 
There was a recent BBC thread on Leeds on what happened from an author who 
pointed out that all Leeds fans do is moan, why us, why this why that etc. What 
has happened to Leeds United? Part of my joy of this list is the eternal 
pessimism whether we win lose or draw, it somehow makes my life better to know 
the pain we all go through week in week out. but we get through it.
 
It is an obvious difficult issue when people are killed at any ground for any 
team or any fan and yes I agree I have many scouser friends who are now 
constantly giving me the Hillsborough 96 blah blah, but the fact is it happened 
and no matter how you want to paint it people died right or wrong. Turkey scum, 
Arsenal scum, Liverpool scum... seriously guys? seriously? people died.
 
I thought we were football fans? Anfield is one of the only grounds I have ever 
gone to where the fans stand up and actually applaud a team who beat them, they 
are fans like us who recognise skills and ability and talent and support their 
team winning or losing. Fuck me we won the league since they last did
 
I lost a mate at Hillsborough, a school friend who in fairness I had not seen 
for many years but nevertheless he is gone. we all have a laugh here but 
sometimes just sometimes maybe we should think about our comments and that 
includes me.
 
Leeds has had a tough time, my mate Rick took over Radio Yorkshire in November 
and asked me to run the sports section for footy and rugby league, he meets and 
met Ken Bates on many occasions and I was in Leeds less than two months ago, 
fuck me I have some stories but it would compromise him and he is my mate, 
maybe one time I will tell you some stories.. not now. By the way I couldn't do 
it but didn't post it here whilst I was in negotiations. I wish them well 
regardless of your comments that may follow here.
 
Not sure how this missive will be received.. maybe time to retire. I'm not 
asking for any sensitive oh poor you shit comments here but maybe a little 
humility from some of the generic crass comments that normally come from some 
of the regulars... x

He collected Ross McCormack's pass and neatly switched to his left foot, before

Prospective 
Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has sacked the 36th manager in his 22-year 
reign at Italian club Cagliari. 

Cellino, who has won 
his appeal to takeover the English Championship club, fired Diego Lopez on 
Sunday. 


Cagliari are seven points clear of the Serie A relegation zone after a 3-1 home 
defeat by 
second-placed Roma. 


This decision is extremely painful as Lopez has always presented himself as 
a professional man,  the club said. 


But the change was necessary to give this team better direction until the 
end of the season, in order to meet the objective of survival. 


Under 39-year-old former captain Lopez, Cagliari have lost four of the their 
last five Serie A matches, winning just three in 15 since early December. 


The ex-Uruguay defender, who was promoted from assistant coach at the start 
of the season, spent 12 years playing for the Sardinia club, making almost 350 
league appearances before retiring in 2010. 


Italian businessman Cellino, 57, is set to complete his takeover of Leeds 
after an independent QC overturned the Football League's decision to block the 
move. 


He still owns Cagliari but is reported to be trying to sell the club.

regardless of his future and I appreciate his comments are very much edited I 
am sure by lawyers etc. I would love to get brian mcd over for an after dinner 
speakers event to find out what has really gone on - I loved his honesty in his 
press conference and loved yer comments both Chris's.
 
The reality is our performances have been very poor and this latest result 
aside by half time could have been much worse. is this the turn of luck we need 
this season? tried to tot up points lost in last 8 games and even with a few 
draws and a win or two we would be play off.. and lets face it we aren't even 
that good this year.
 
my palace mate just posted another point... interesting times at ER and lets 
hope it turns out nice again... I still think my Soap reference

The program you are thinking of was called SOAP which was a comedy parody of 
the typical american soap programs of that era. Billy Crystal played one of the 
earliest openly gay characters on US TV called Jodie in the program. Now 
recognized retrospectively as one of the most influential and groundbreaking 
programs opening up prime time US TV to modern controversial topics such as 
sexuality and religion (which are not necessarily mutually exclusive!!). Great 
program shame it only lasted 4 seasons.

thanks Rich not read subsequent reports yet of your report fella but for the 
first time actually some genuine enthusiasm.. probably booze listened to 
most of it and saw highlights myself. most important we got a win but lets not 
get carried away by all accounts coulda been 4 - 0 to them at half time.

 This really was a game of two halves and I think that was
 mainly down to the conditions with the wind blowing strong towards the Kop.
 Although we ran out comfortable winners this really could have gone either way
 but Huddersfield with their powder puff attack squandered chance after chance
 in a first half they dominated and we really struggled to compete. 
 I arrived at the ground to see around 200 fans stood outside
 the East stand singing “You don’t know what you are doing”. It was a piss 
 poor effort
 to be honest but I think Leeds fans have had it all over the last few years 
 and
 this is just one more disappointment to take. Once in the ground though it was
 clear that the atmosphere was more charged and the fans really got behind the
 team. The rendition of MOT was sang as loud as I’ve heard it for many a year.
 Not much negative chanting and lots of support for BMD. 
 Unfortunately the team couldn’t respond to the fans and Town
 took control with simple but effective football. There was an early sign of
 things to come though as Kebe combined brilliantly with Macca in a run that
 went the length of the pitch. Good pace and control and was the start of an
 excellent game for the gangly winger. 
 We were playing a 4-3-3 with Murphy, Mowatt and Austin
 playing centrally. Surprisingly Austin seemed to be playing more advanced that
 the other 2 and spent a lot of time going for balls in advanced positions. 
 Our defence were shocking in the first half, time after time
 Town found space down their left , our right. When we going to realise the
 Byram isn’t a right back. He wasn’t covering right and was exposed time after
 time. He actually provided the 2 best challenges of the half saving a couple 
 of
 certain goals showing that he can tackle and can defend but I don’t think he 
 naturally
 knows how to defend as a right back. He has to play in midfield and you only
 have to look at his attacking play in the second half to realise that this guy
 has far too much talent to be wasted at right back. 
 The Town goal came from one such attack down our right. We
 stood off, gave Ward the freedom of the park and he took his time and drilled
 it into the bottom far corner. It’s hard to say whether Kenny was at fault but
 he was easily beaten. It was a deserved lead and they threatened to increase
 it. 
 Again, we stood off at were all at sea as the Town
 midfielder hit it for outside the box. He was unlucky as the ball hit the post
 and rebounded to a white shirt. Then it was corner after corner and the wind
 seemed to be sucking the ball into the net directly from the corner with Kenny
 flapping all over the place. 
 Then Naki Wells managed to break through whilst Tom Lees was
 taking a nap on the half way line. He could have taken it past Kenny but
 decided to go for an elaborate chip and ended up looking a c*nt for what was a
 really poor effort. 
 There were other chances and I was thinking that the
 decision to relieve BMD of his job was actually very wise. We were well short
 of what was required. 
 At the other end we did create one or two chances. Cameron
 Stewart has the best chance but he passed it wide and Mowatt and Macca 
 combined
 well to break into the box but it came to nothing. 
 There were some really performances from Leeds but probably
 the worse came through Warnock who just looked short in every way. His passing
 was atrocious , he just kept playing these ridiculous long balls. The fact 
 that
 Warnock ended up looking like Roberto Carlos with his rampaging runs just
 emphasises the difference between the 2 halves. 
 The Town fans rubbed it in with “Leeds are falling apart
 again” and “Ross McCormack , he doesn’t want to play”.
 It was crucial we grabbed something in the half and we did.
 From a free-kick the ball came over. Kebe managed to make a nuisance of 
 himself
 and knock the defender off balance making the ball go loose. That’s all Macca
 needed to pounce and poke the ball past the hapless Smithies (he really is a
 shit keeper).  Queue pandemonium in the
 stands and Ross milked the goal in front of the stunned Town fans by kissing
 the badge. 1-1 and to be honest it was daylight robbery. 
 So on to the second half with Leeds having the wind but
 forget that let’s just enjoy the fact that we steamrolled a team into
 submission by playing some great football along the way. I would say that this

You all know I have been a fan of him last 2 seasons, only guy who has that 
extra second on the ball for us, no pace but who cares.. he actually passes to 
our guys and has glimpses of some form of skill. Given our showing last 3 - 6 
games we cant do much worse eh? Didn't see the Macca appointment but tbh it is 
well overdue, Austin has been erratic and whilst he runs about a lot as I used 
to too he has bugger all skill. Macca seems to want to worry em at the back 
much like Smith for me.. running at em sometimes works... and by the way you 
get paid to do it so fecking do it.
 
Always said here, give me 100% and I don't care about your score.. give me 
less.. I don't care about you!
 
I may be back in UK next week for 10 days, possibly Ipswich and Huddersfield 
games, I refer you to previous comments (never seen us lose at ER)... scared 
though atm...

killing cup upset bollocks. we are not even close to being a good time unlike 
the past cupsets of the early 70's.
 
if that is not a massive incentive for the owners to give Brian some cash I 
don't know what is cos today we were poor and they wanted it more.
 
if you took away both team names and were asked to guess which division each 
were in I am sure you would switch them both around.

I of course agree with pretty much most of the comments expressed so far on not 
only Forrest but also last 3 games.
 
One thing I did do last game was watch Smith up front, whilst I agree he has no 
pace and limited skill I did think that he was able to knock a ball down with 
his head on several occasions. the problem was the service to him was shocking 
most of the time or he was on his back foot and therefore unable to control the 
ball. Worst of all and that which got me the most was that when he did knock 
the ball down there was NEVER anyone there to capitalise so therefore the whole 
fecking point is lost.
 
As some of you have pointed out, I don't mind if we lose 5 - 0 every game but 
at least give me 100% effort. Basic skills like passing, controlling the ball, 
looking around and moving into space are learned on the bloody play ground 
never mind training ground. We have some guys who think the job is half done 
because of our league position. They need to get a grip or ship out.
 
I have wondered where Diouff is this season, I guess he is sulking as he isn't 
getting a game and of course he has been away whilst the world dies. Whilst he 
doesn't have any pace he is the only guy I have watched since he joined us who 
has that extra second on the ball and shows any class - I would rather we 
searched for a 'Strachan like' character in January and a holding midfielder to 
steady the ship. We need a strong calming influence who can grab the ball hold 
it look up and see what we have as options.
 
This division is so tough to get out of and we are there or thereabouts without 
showing anything decent since Birmingham (and they were shite). I don't care 
where we finish but I do expect the players to reward a returning and always 
enthusiastic support home and away.
 
Not being from Yorkshire (forgive me) I'm gonna try to do the unusual and be 
positive going into 2014.
 
BTW and I cant answer to the list here but I have first hand knowledge of the 
DAB station owned by KB and the recent new appointments... there will be some 
interesting developments soon guys. erm I can't say more on list on that at the 
moment apart from I think it is gonna be damn good
 
Anyway, cheers guys and girls, here's to a positive transfer market in January 
and for us to be there or thereabouts at end of season. Happy New Year from 
Oman, raising a glass to all our friends past and present.

its like Forest are trying to win the game by passing to their own players and 
tackling and showing some interest... how can we compete with that? surely our 
tactics of humping it up front with misplaced passes and sleeping when we are 
in possession is the way forward?
 
I imagine that players have days off and watch other teams play and think hey 
why cant we do that, not suggesting we are Barcelona but ffs this is 3 games in 
a row at least where we have been woeful.
 
no idea how we get out if this today...

Ladies and gents,
 
I feel as a relative new guy and I may speak for a few too that the losses of 
your / our friends on this list is as always and understandably a huge burden. 
( I lost both my folks in the last 2 years in 6 months). I feel it really hard 
to add my condolences when I didn't know the people involved and it makes me 
feel really bad because I feel this list has made me part of something since I 
joined from Oman.
 
I feel very bad when I can't shout RIP to some of the guys that you all know or 
some of you do and it is not that I don't care either but such is life. I hope 
to be part of this amazing list and group of guys and girls and if we may never 
meet I enjoy every email (well most).
 
I am not sure if this makes sense to anyone and do not expect or ask any reply, 
I just wanted to say that the loss of anyone is crap as we all know and hey... 
we seem to have a great group of people here worldwide thank you for caring 
about other people even if you don't know them.

  Yes it was not the prettiest or greatest performance, especially first 
  half, but we did what we needed to do and deserved the win.
  We missed Byram as right wing back, albeit Peltier had a decent game, and 
  then things got even stranger when Warnock went off just before half time 
  and Pearce ended up as left wing back !
  The weather was awful with huge gusting winds (perhaps the hardest weather 
  to play good football in) and then a couple of torrential downpours, but no 
  sure why we had the coloured ball ?
  We started brightly and Mowatt again showed he is real class with a great 
  shot when off balance that the keeper did well to save, then Rody put in a 
  good cross that Smith only had to touch to open the scoring but somehow he 
  contrived to hit fresh air and the chance went begging. After that it 
  reminded me of some of the games when we played a team from a lower league 
  in cup competitions - Yoevil suddenly realised that we were not that good 
  and found a bit of confidence and drive and took the game to us. For the 
  second quarter of the game they were the better team but never really 
  looked like scoring, on the odd occasion they did open us up the final ball 
  or the strikers touch let them down.
  We were a bit grateful to get to half time but that was not, to my mind, 
  enough excuse for those fans who booed them off at half time - it really 
  annoys me. We are called 'supporters; and are supposed to support the team! 
  Yes I know we pay our money etc etc but whilst it is just about excusable 
  to boo at the end, there really is no point in doing it at half

Erm I presume Rich has done a runner to nearest cliff face... I watched 
yesterday - most of it anyway. I agree we need a midfielder who can hold the 
ball up and a natural goal scorer. Oddly I thought about Becchio last night and 
remembered how utterly useless he was most of the time, he did have Snodgrass 
providing crosses for him for the tap ins remember.
 
Anyway that aside I was amused and then worried to read the above link on my 
facebook today. Sorry Rich if people support the above link, don't shoot the 
messenger, I would rather have Beckford back but we already had that debate the

Had to check who we were actually playing for some of the pre season nonsense. 
Never really put much stock in those results.
 
I just decided to fly back to UK at the weekend and low and behold Leeds versus 
Brighton at home on 3rd. now not wishing to screw up my sequence but I 
might remind you all that although it may be one or 2 games every other 
year. I have still NEVER seen Leeds lose at home. getting more scary 
every time I go now.
 
I don't suggest you put any money on it but I look forward to it 
nevertheless... shall have a look through previous posts for best bitter 
options, curry houses and moat house hotels... (or similar)

That's funny, just after I sent that message I read a tweet that's advertising 
the re-opening of the Peacock on Elland Rd. It's opening on the Fri before

last pint of Tetley's Guy was actually at Bahrain Rugby club last year albeit 
Tetley's smooth and last pint in Leeds at Old Peacock but to be fair that must 
be at least 4 years ago I reckon cos last time I was there they only sold lager 
and cider or similar young persons beverages.
 
discussed dream by the way with current girlfriend and she suggested I stfu or 
I will be attempting to suck certain parts of my own anatomy myself ... 
again anyway glad to raise a smile re tetleys at least.. odd no comments 
about dream team since 1950.

 John's the only one who's got it right and he's in Canada.
 Tetley's is now owned by  Carlsberg and is currently produced for them at 
 Bank's in Wolverhamton, 
 except Bank's is not know as Bank's, aka Wolverhampton and Dudley, any more 
 but Marston's after a 
 buying spree starting back to the late 1990's saw them take over Marston's, 
 Mansfield, Jennings, 
 Eldridge Pope, Ringwood, Brakspear and Wychwood. They decided Marston's was 
 nicer name for the 
 conglomerate.  
 Oh, and Carslberg closed the historic Tetley Leeds brewery in 2011.

last night ...very vivid . that I took over LUFC, immediately got rid of 
Bates, took the press down the pub whilst ordering Tetley bitter and debating 
the best players of LUFC history whilst lamenting on the fact that players 
today just ain't what they used to be... and they are only in it for the money
 
what was even more odd is that I alerted all to this list and admitted that I 
ran the club with the backing of several of the voices on this esteemed 
international panel and if people didn't like it they could bugger off

Mike I think we did play well and maybe Austin sending off was harsh but Diouff 
was just stupid and immature, 10 men for 70 mins we equalise and he does 
something so irresponsible that any chance of picking up 3 points never mind 
one has gone. very frustrating because for me diouff has been our touch of 
class all season and I want him and think we need him to stay. true the players 
are frustrated because the season has been shit but nearly 25000 fans today and 
the crowd were brilliant again today.Time for these guys to grow up a bit, one 
of my mantras when I coached martial arts was you can win or lose, either way 
you give 100% and you can never be faulted. if somebody is better then so be it 
but don't bring in other factors and excuses. Diouff was stupid and 
irresponsible and if I were his team mate i'd be more pissed off with him than 
Austin. Anyway, one more game then we can consign this season to the bin, 
debate all summer who we need and want and see if we can keep Byram
 . would be interested to see from anyone who watched today if the commentary 
did our performance justice given we were a man down all game bar 14 minutes at 
the start. regardless MOT folks.

Leeds manager Neil Warnock: It's difficult doing a press 
conference when you think you should have won three or 4-0 and you've lost 3-0. 
It's a crazy day and I can't believe we haven't won. We've got one lad who's 
let 
everyone down (defender Tom Lees was sent off). He's let me down, the team down 
and all the fans who travelled here.
I've never been to Ipswich and dominated as much as that in my life and if I 
were (Ipswich boss) Mick (McCarthy) I'd fill in a lottery ticket tonight.
Leeds remain 11th in the Championship, with Ipswich up to

TBH Rich, as much as I agree that we are shocking and will only now get mid 
table, Warnock leaving now and getting someone in new, what will that achieve? 
A new guy has the same players to play with who have the same attitude. Most of 
them must be worried about their jobs next season and rightly so but what can 
we achieve by losing him now?Let the season peter out and then hope we get a 
few more guys getting 10% buy ins (if only we knew how much money we were 
getting) and seriously start looking at decent players for next season, our 
under 18's showed we must have some class coming through.IMO we need someone 
who is hungry to win (Warnock was always a one season guy and even with 
promotion I reckon he might have quit anyway) No idea who that might be but 
Sunderland loss today might make O'Neil possible, always liked his 
style.Clearly we need a leader - for me always at CB, we need a midfield 
general and judging by comments on game today, a striker who has a bit of class 
who c
 an actually do something. Our league is always gonna be tough because everyone 
has so much to gain but I'd prefer to see some young lads coming through like 
the early 2000's who are keen, loyal, (cheap) and within a few years get us 
where we want, a quick fix will never be the answer. Anyway, switched off 
commentary today for first time in ages after sending off and first goal 
still working out why I am a Leeds fan after 40 years but I still believe
