[LU] Cagliari
The biggest thing from the game was the straight red for KP - no one too sure if he will get a ban As for match itself we were cut open 3 times in first half , great save by Kiko, great clearance by Davis and the goal where white missed a chance to clear. Overall white looked great on the ball but messed up for goal and was beaten on another occasion Costa was mainly quiet but showed stuff at times that he will be fine We had one move , missed by Clarke that was out of this world - worth trying to find it on Twitter or wherever Clarke looked decent when he came on Only concern, apart from red card, was bamford who failed to score again and barely got in any goal scoring positions - with fans on his back, roofe injured he will need to get off the mark soon or he may never recover So onto the real thing next week My pc decided to die just after half time so watched last bit on phone Re Edmondson I think he was unused sub at Girona game in Manc so doubt he is in bielsa’s plans Can’t wait - as square ball says we all thought dan James would have meant promotion and we now have costa - lost Pontus but got white - also Harrison looks to have improved and Clarke healthy so things are fine Dave ___ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: https://mailman.gn.apc.org/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email leedslist-unsubscr...@gn.apc.org Find us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/leedslist/ RIP Jimmy WAC-COE
Re: [LU] back on top
That was impressive - apart from Bamfords 3 misses ! Win on Saturday and we have a 5 point gap and firmly in the driving seat, a defeat should not be fatal to us albeit it will be awful and hard to take. Re: [LU] 2-0 and checking out the opposition
On train home now but 100 per cent impressed- we were great from first to last whistle and played a top 7 team off the park . The starting team was decent but bench just kids so we were worried pre match. Bielsa really is a genius- despite 2 league defeats we totally dominated- only worry was the fact that it was only 1 0at half time but Harrison tap in at start of second half sorted that - many times we looked as if we had an extra man. Forshaw had his best game for ages and Clark is a top player in the making- 2 0 flattered them Sent from my iPhone > On 11 Jan 2019, at 22:20, Nick Allen wrote: > > That was stunningly good.
