Nah, the Rising Sun was between St Barts Hospital and Barbican, if I remember
correctly I thought the landlord was a Leeds fan.

Was the Kings Rd one used prior to chelsea games 'cos i thought it was called
the Orange Brewery (or was that another one)

Rising Sun was the Barbican pub run by a mate of Gav's - Keith.
Who then relocated to the Horse and Groom near Great Portland St and on one
memorable occasion when the pub was shut just gave us the keys and let us serve
ourselves

Matt

Before the Rising Sun he ran the Three Goats' Heads in Oxford - it was a Sam
Smith's pub and he was responsible for getting the sponsorship for the
Lards, hence the Sam Smith's logo on the YBSS.

I *think* I joined the list in 95, when I was living in Seattle, and made a
few meets at the Adelphi over the course of a couple of years. Remained
subscribed ever since.

And I've run into Betty at various musical soirees in Leeds that only the
finest folk attend.
