Cole,OK - I now see what you meant by the screws being proud.Instead of rabbeting the frame boards, give thought to laminating strips to the back side of the framing boards - flush to the outer edge, coming inboard 1/2 to 3/4th inch - all the way around the perimeter. Then glue pieces similarly, on the back as well - but its edge flush with the inner perimeter edge.  Where you need to avoid those screws cut out or, easier, drill out, a hole to accommodate the screw heads.  This will relieve you of the frustrations you've experienced.  You can salvage your current frame board (where the board slipped and router made a large rabbet) - just glue a filler strip in there and re-try.Just my 2¢ worth.Good luck.Mac-Original Message->From: Cole Andrews >Sent: Apr 6, 2020 8:32 PM>To: Legacy group >Subject: Re: Fed up with messing parts up>>This is what I was trying to cover up .Every window in the house has>this type of window. The clamp I used was an Festool screw clamp that is meant for their mft table .
I have an series of holes drilled so I can use dogs to line up parts easy and
repeatable. Every so often that clamp just let’s go. And always on something
that’s took a lot of time to lay out.

When you say “Clamp” are you referring to me shaft collars or how you have
mounted the wood on your milling table?
