Re: New Year ahead!

2023-12-31 Thread cdkr...@gmail.com
Yes, I know about the "other" materials for peg board. The object of my
game is to use as much as I can from what's laying around, and that
includes the paint I rarely use!

Curt, you're on to something there! It seems very workable! And I would
want mine to be infinitely adjustable for the range it can handle. You're
making more than one, right? :)

Hey Dan

Just got back form Home Depot. Did you know that they sell both plastic and
steel
Pag board? the ones that I was looking at were appx. 2'x2" something like
that might work well
with your parts idea.
This stuff is New to me.

Best of luck.

This is an idea I've had for several years but have never taken the time to
engineer the Archimedes compass mechanism. I had a wooden "Bridgeport" router
mill that it was to be it's first implementation, but I gave up that home built
machine in the move to IN. Now it will be interesting to see how you, Curt,
implement this fabulous process.

I'm currently building a storage "wall" for the REVO to store all it's parts, a
framed peg board panel secured to the back of the REVO stand. It will be two
sided and have a box of boxes (drawers) for which the REVO will cut the finger
joints.

Have stalled out on the ball and nested bowl turner temporarily. ADHD kicked
in and some shop housekeeping (oh LOOK! a shiny object) and now Curt's
distraction. Life is hard. But I'm eternally grateful for the privileges and
opportunities we still have!

Happy New Year everyone!

Hoo boi. An idea just popped into my head. Must go write it down before I
forget!

Re: New Year ahead!

2023-12-31 Thread 'Curt George' via Legacy Ornamental Mills
 Good morning everyone.
Dan, Most certainly write your ideas down.  I use to use a tape player to
record my ideas when I was driving to and from work. (Note: I have an 48mile
trip, one way for work./lots of driving everyday.)  Perhaps I should start
doing it again, for some reason I stopped this practice, a while back, and
never picked it up again?
I think I have this Oval jig straight in my head at this time. Its just finding
the "Free" Time to make it work.
Dan I like your idea on the shelving for the Your REVO.  I have a drawer in a
filing cabinet, and three tool boxes of Legacy stuff, that I use. Tring to keep
things organized can be hard at times.  I wish you luck.
Gota run now.
have a good day.
I hope to hear form others in the group?
Have a great day.

implement this fabulous process.

Happy New Year everyone!
Hoo boi.  An idea just popped into my head.   Must go write it down before I
forget!
