 Thank you Roger.
As a side NOTE Here.
I was asked today on a private e-mail how did I figure out the correct size for
this handle?
To answer the question easiest. I suggest that we take a look back in to our
archives. These three links, I posted,  on My kids bedroom project. The pix. On
the supports for this bed I used the same process, with wood as my core to make
the spilt
turnings.https://groups.google.com/g/legacy-ornamental-mills/c/xHad25QSjBc/m/KcmsDy_b2koJ

Legacy Ornamental MillsHello Everyone.
This topic is a good one.
The Original concept of the pilaster dogs, Originates form the Paper joint
method of splitting a spindle into parts.I use to use a wood square block and
glue, or screw the wood onto the block it make my split turnings. Here are a few
links from the old site.
https://ornamentalmills.com/turningaround/pilaster_mounting_dogs.htm
https://ornamentalmills.com/turningaround/HalfRound.htm And a few of my photos
for old projects using my Home made pilaster dogs.
I do not have any photos of my knife handles that I made using this same
concept.but its was pretty straight forward. (wood base, Hot melt glued ,two
wood scales, turned and roped them on the Legacy. then removed and set onto a
knife.)   easy job that any Legacy user could do.
talk to you all more later.Have a good night.
