Barton, any chance that the missing people are marked as Private, or as Living, and that your export privacy options exclude those? [LegacyUG] Legacy Home Tab
I am using Legacy 8.0.0.473 on a Windows 8.1 machine When I start Legacy, I open to the Legacy Home Tab. I use this to check my To-Do list and to keep track of tasks to perform. However, the Legacy news portion is beginning to get out of hand. At this moment I have more than 90 itims showing up. (I lost count). Quite a few of these go back to itims from last year. As much as I have searched, I have been unable to find a way to delete some of the items or at least to mark them as having been read. Help simply indicates it will be there and to check it often. Is there a way to do this? Brian, When I tested it I DID get the spouses. I am not sure why can do it and other people can't. I tested it using my real file so I know who is supposed to be there and who isn’t. Is it just females spouses or male spouses? I need to test this again. Re: [LegacyUG] Add an individual person
Don't apologise for asking questions, June. Chances are, if you're wondering about something, so is someone else but they haven't gotten around to asking about it. Or they haven't yet realised they need to ask the question! Either way, you're helping others while helping yourself. :-) Wendy June wrote on 21/03/2015 22:47: Apologies for my various queries. RE: [LegacyUG] Legacy Home Tab
I just looked at mine and the only advice that I can give you is to consider this a “news archive”. You are under no obligation to scroll down the list each time you view the Legacy News. Just check for a new item or two which would appear only at the top of all the others. If you see nothing new, move on. But I do agree that articles about the “soon-to-be-released Legacy 8” and others really need to hit the bit bucket.
