Re: [LegacyUG] Legacy Family Tree Webinars website

2017-03-24 Thread cstegert
I think it's Geoff's fault -- way too many really, really excellent webinars --
I often watch them two or three times to pick up all the details!

Keep up the good work Geoff.

Michele -- thank you and your team for the great job and this amazing piece of
communication!

Re: [LegacyUG] External hard drive

2017-03-24 Thread Anne Lo Forte Willson
I've been using the Web link in the media to attach photos that I are
already loaded online (Ancestry.com, FamilySearch) and sources that are
online also. I also create a link to the image on my hard drive. This has
been working very well for family to see them, as we have our Legacy data
file stored on DropBox and accessible to all family members. Everyone has
a free version of Legacy on their own computer and creates a local backup
whenever they leave the program. This creates backups all over the nation
and on multiple computers. With the web links, it is now possible for all
family members to see all the images that we have attached, no matter
whether it is a source, a portrait or locality interest items.

The Legacy Family Tree Webinars website is currently down. The programmers
are aware of it and hopefully it will be back up soon.
