I use Notepad++ and regular expression to edit the gedcom file and remove all notes
Search for ^\d\s\b(NOTE|CONT|CONC)\b.*\R and replace with [nothing] will remove all lines starting with a digit followed by a space and then NOTE or CONT or CONC.
