I have noted a similar problem in printing several of the report options - for example, the File ID Report. I have notified the "powers to be" since Legacy 7.5, without any action. Good Luck. [LegacyUG] Print Report Formats
I have been using Legacy Family since the version 7 years. I try to use a number of the reports supplied by the Legacy. Since the beginning I have had problems with some of the output formats. Seems to happen mostly in the output of the list programs. In stead of simply listing the "item name' the program prints the "item name" plus what appears to be a programing instruction before and after the "item name". For example: if the newspaper name New York Times is to be printed the report output will be \i New York Times \i0 will appear. At first I thought it might have something to do with the printer interface but I have gone through several different kinds of printers and still the same problem. Unfortunately, this makes print reports options useless for me. Anyone have any suggestions? Re: [LegacyUG] Tombstones
Lee Bruch Thank you for your response. The MJM were found in a publication of Land Between the Rivers Historical Society, Portage des Sioux, MO. In the Tombstone Inscription section, several of the stones have the letters MJM listed as part of the other information on stone data. Also included in the other information are the names of spouses or children which would indicate to me that the grave site was used for more than one person. The stone dates are in the 1800's. I have also found several other online Cemetery sites databases that use the MJM letters. The cemetery sites that I have found have all been in Missouri - I don't if the letters is unique to the area or not. Re: [LegacyUG] Tombstones
To All Interesting comments all. The cemetery that started this all is the St. Francis Cemetery, St. Francis Catholic Church, Portage des Sioux, Missouri. I have not personally seen any of the tombstones but my wife and will be visiting the cemetery in a couple of months and will check out the site. My father's side of the family are Catholic from way back. The MJM letters seem to appear on both male and female stones and the referenced publication also lists their baptisms so I would doubt that any are Jewish.
