[LegacyUG] Question on generating an index for book

I want to generate an index for a genealogy book that will include both 
the maiden names and married names of the wives. I had done this several 
years ago without any problem.


Now, when I choose this option it also puts all the men's names in under 
their spouses maiden names. How do I eliminate this?

[LegacyUG] Calendar Creator

Mum’s 2^nd husband) nor can I avoid the stepfather (the biological 
father of Mum’s daughters’ children) being shown as the husband of 
Mum’s two daughters who bore the stepfather’s two children !


The ‘unknown’ father of the 3^rd daughter’s child is less of a problem 
until that daughter marries (but not to ‘unknown’) and starts her own 
family, when her pre-marriage child is then shown as the son of her 
new (1^st ) husband.


This latter problem also occurs with the other two daughters and their 
pre-marriage children (fathered by the stepfather) when they marry for 
the first time and start their own families with their new (1^st ) 
husbands.


Please HELP me to record these events correctly.

Can anyone help me?

I have started getting Error 3035 - exceeding resources when I do a file 
maintenance. I am using Windows 10 and have the latest build for Legacy.


In looking up this error I get instructions to uninstall Legacy and then 
reinstall.
I have now done this twice. Each time I did this I had to redo all my 
preferences. Then I was able to do file maintenance one time. The next 
time I tried and the same error comes up.

I have been getting that error for quite a while. I did everything that 
support suggested, including reinstalling the program, etc. etc.  The 
only thing I have found that helps is to restart your program or even 
restart your computer.

[LegacyUG] Need help

I have Windows 10 and the latest version of Legacy.  This morning I got 
Error 3265. I followed the instructions on line in support, including 
downloading the newest update, in which it said any missing files would 
be replaced.  Now while trying to open Legacy I get this message, "Error 
opening the Event Initialization file. Could not fine file 
'C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Legacy\Family 
Tree\_AppData\DBM\Legacy14.dbm'."  The same error message for 
Legacy16.dbm.  The same thing happens when I try to do a 'check & repair'.

I have the latest version of Legacy 9 and have Windows 10 and so far had 
not had problems until now.


I'm trying to add the address icon to the husband/wife toolbar only I 
get this message and the program crashes - Run-time error '9': Subscript 
out of range


I have tried all the suggestions in the help on line but nothing has 
changed.  I'm stumped!


Any suggestions appreciated

Is there a report available that gives the number of children, number of
grandchildren, number of great-grandchildren,etc.
I can get the total descendants of a person but I would like to have a
breakdown of each generation.
