I suppose “good luck” would be an appropriate expression. I moved my data to Legacy last year and was working on cleaning up place location information – just started with locations beginning with H – when the maps went down. That has been just over three and a half months ago. If you are interested, it seems that RootsMagic has the same problem, beginning about the same time. However, three other genealogy database software – the current versions of Family Tree Make, Family Historian, and Heredis all have Bing maps working just fine with no failures. I definitely wonder about this problem.
