in Settings > General > About

I hesitate to ask because from yesterday's mails there are those on this site 
that don't care for posts from non techs. But how can I tell if I have an iPad 
2.  All I see is a model number in "About".  From what I read about IOS 10 I 
hope to avoid forever anyway
