Re: [LegacyUG] Legacy won't open at all...Fatal
I need to use Control-Alt-Delete frequently with Legacy 8 and "FamilySearch". Close the application. Sometimes I need to go to the "processes" and close the Legacy.exe process, also. Try using the "Revo" program to delete Legacy after you have done a new install. Do the advanced uninstall. Have had good luck with that program. [LegacyUG] Legacy won't open at all...Fatal
The original message to the list is in the attachment. This action is required because of the DMARC Reject/Quarantine Policy imposed by some email providers. Users who want to send messages without conversion to attachments should use a different email address for their subscription. Known providers for free email accounts whose emails do not require this conversion include gmail.com and hotmail.com. Many other email providers will also work but you will have to give them a try.--- Begin Message --- Has anyone ever experienced this? 1) Legacy 9 Deluxe open and while I was creating a TO DO it suddenly FROZE. Cursor would move but nothing was responding...nothing in Legacy and nothing in any other program. 2) After waiting a few MINUTES I finally did a FORCED shut down of my computer. 3) When I attempted to reopen, it threw an error saying "The instruction at such and such referenced memory at such and such location. The required data was not placed into memory because of an I/O error status of 0x022." 4) I've contacted Support at Legacy and they do not know any such problem. 5) I've Uninstalled the program 4 or 5 times using Legacy Support's instructions and reinstalled a freshly downloaded copy to no avail. Can anyone advise on if they've seen this before and if they know a solution?
