It doesn't back up media to the cloud. You would have to do that yourself to a cloud service (Google, OneDrive) etcbut a word of cautionread the small print before you signup. I keep my backups mostly local. I backup my critical files once a week and have copies off-site too. Thew cloud backup only includes your family file. Multi-media is not included. That is why the cloud backup should be considered as an emergency backup and be supported by other backups on and off your computer. To store media backups in the cloud you will need another cloud storage option like OneDrive, Dropbox or other storage services.
