Re: [LegacyUG] Relationship question
Thanks Wendy, I just was not sure if I should link these two people. You can also click on the Wording Options tab and choose your own terms of choice. Hope this helps. :-) Wendy Rolf Maxa wrote on 12/11/2017 12:29: > I have a female family member on my tree, This person had a one night affair > and she had a child from this. Re: [LegacyUG] Relationship question
I came across a French gen program that covered this situation beautifully. Under partnership as well as marriage, partnership etc. it had "1o MINUTES OF PLEASURE" Sat, 2017-11-11 at 18:29 -0500, Rolf Maxa wrote: > I have a female family member on my tree, This person had a one night > affair and she had a child from this. [LegacyUG] Relationship question
I have a female family member on my tree, This person had a one night affair and she had a child from this. My question is do I link these two people, or do I show them as two individuals with the child linked to both? I don’t want this to show as a partnership on any reporting. I would appreciate any help. Re: [LegacyUG] Relationship Question
Gene, From the help file: If the relationship shown is a cousin type, it will show the kind of cousin (first, second, etc.) and how many generations removed, in the form of 1C2R (first cousin, twice removed). If the generations removed are in the descendant direction, meaning that the cousin is in a generation younger than the starting person, an asterisk is shown after the relationship indicator. Re: [LegacyUG] Relationship Question
No problem. I'm actually glad I searched for it, because I thought it meant the opposite, i.e., that the cousin is in a generation OLDER than the starting person.
