I am hoping to send a "in progress" PDF file to a family member and wish to make sure that I do not violate any protocols. Can anyone offer advice on how I can do this? If you click on Report Options, then on Page Setup, Headers, Footers and select the Footers tab, there is an option to Include Compiler's information at the bottom of your report. If you select that, then click on Edit Compiler there are several fields you may wish to include and the last is Comments where you could type something like "This is a work in progress and all information contained herein should be verified by the recipient." -- Jenny M Benson http://jennygenes.blogspot.co.uk/ -- LegacyUserGroup mailing list LegacyUserGroup@legacyusers.com To manage your subscription and unsubscribe http://legacyusers.com/mailman/listinfo/legacyusergroup_legacyusers.com Archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/
Re: [LegacyUG] Sending a Family Descendant Chart With a "Disclaimer" Endnote
If you send an ancestor "book" or other "book", you can add a note to the title [cover page] and add a universal source note for everyone in the file. I add "User Must Verify All Info" to the title page. If you tag and export every one you want in the pdf report to a new Legacy data base, you can add a universal source in the new file without changing your main or "real" data base.
