[LegacyUG] v8 upgrade

2014-04-20 Thread Paula Ryburn
Finally was able to purchase my upgrade, but now I'm wondering--does it require
someone on the other end to send the instruction email to me, or will it be
automatic (just not immediate)?
Thanks,

[LegacyUG] The upgrade.

2010-02-01 Thread Liz Schmidt
I can only see where I can buy itnot the upgrade. I looked over my home
on the legacy program, and all I got was the option to select the preferred
family. I went to the Internet button, and everything but an upgrade...Can
someone please help..This is very frustrating.

Click on the Home tab in Legacy 7.0. On the right side of the page
you will notice a box labelled Updates. You should see something
 like...

Installed Version: 7.0.0.109 Available Version: 7.4.0.6 Download and
 Install Now

Click on the Download and Install Now. Also check this tab for any
 new updates later on.

And if that doesn't show. Click on the updates word and follow the
directions in the dialog box that appears. See my message on the exact
same subject earlier on today or late yesterday depending on where in
the world you are.

RE: [LegacyUG] Legacy upgrade you are so right

2010-01-29 Thread Eileen
Ron,

you are so right in the below statement, I would ready wait a year then go
through all the trouble that the upgrade caused many people. I am now waiting
and reading the list to see when all the program runs right. Getting to old to
keep redoing so much work.

Lori,

Wouldn't you rather wait and have it working properly rather than buggy?
There were problems with the relaese of Legacy7 because people were
demanding its release before it was fully debugged. I rather not have that
again!

January is winding down and I am curious how the upgrade is going. I really
like Legacy, but I am at the point where I am about to go to another program
because I shouldn't have to do double entry work on NFS when there are
programs out there that will do it for me. Are we close? I am ready to get
another program in order to move the work forward. However, I really don't
want to because I like the features available on Legacy.
