Sorry, Pat - changes are saved along the way, each time you click on a 
Save button.


If you're still at that point, click on the Cancel button instead to 
back out without changing the alterations made since that window was opened.


If you're past that point, your only option will be to restore a 
backup.  File > Restore.  Note that you are given the opportunity to 
rename the new file, so you can make it different to your current file 
to prevent it from being overwritten.

Legacy saves every change as soon as you make it. There is no way to 
close a file without the changes you made during the session. The only 
way would be to restore from a backup made before you started that day.
