Display of dates with prefixes is a setting and has nothing to do with how dates are stored so search and replace will not find them. If you want to have Legacy display abt. as about then you have to change your setting in Options > Customize > Dates. Section 5.7. Don, I am trying to sync my data with FamilySearch. My issue is with the way I have recorded some dates. I have several that use a prefix of "Abt", "Bef", "c.", ad so forth. I want to, for example, replace "Abt" with "About" by cycling through each possible prefix and correct all of them.
