FS: 2006 Mac mini
This Mini has been in regular use for many years by an older relative, and the time has finally come to retire it. It seems to work well, with all functions still working from what I can tell. Wifi connects, CD/DVD drive still reads disks (I reloaded Snow Leopard 10.6.3 from an Apple DVD with it), no issues noticed while working with it. Specs - 1.66 Intel Core Duo, 2 GB RAM, 60 GB Fujitsu hard drive. Includes the original Apple power cord. No other accessories or packaging are included with this item. Just the mini and the power cord (with power brick). I don’t have a spare OS DVD to include, but it has a fresh 10.6 install, which when updated to 10.6.8 is apparently the newest Mac OS it can run. I’d like $60 shipped for this, or best offer, anywhere in the lower 48 states. I accept paypal, check/M.O., etc. Items will ship upon receipt of cleared payment. Hi all, I’m selling my parents’ old media center Mac mini. Since they retired it I’ve done a few upgrades to make it more “current.” It got retired because fewer and fewer web pages render correctly in browsers that are compatible with Lion, and because frame rates on Netflix were too low. Specs for the Mac mini are as follows: - 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor - 4 GB RAM (3 GB addressable, but it’s two 2 GB sticks so you get the most performance) - 120 GB SSD - Upgraded to Macmini2,1 firmware - Mac OS X Snow Leopard installed, but the upgrade to Lion should be easy since it’s had the firmware upgraded The Mac mini will ship in its original box and comes with a power supply, but no keyboard or mouse. [Price Drop $75 -> $60] I've not really got much use for this machine any more, so I'm offering it up here. Works fine, not the prettiest (I opened the bottom for upgrades several times, hence the 2GB RAM and 120GB HD) but it's not beat up either. Includes Mini, power brick, and original DVI -> VGA adapter. This is the only Mac I've ever purchased new, funny enough, so I have the original box and media. For some reason the 10.4 install disc won't install, it fails on a language pack. However, the HD zeroed perfectly with no errors and 10.6 installed no problem. But due to list rules I'll have to ship it w/o the OS - you'll need your own media or maybe you can work magic with the special 10.4.6 DVD. $60 shipped CONUS. $80 shipped CONUS with 10.6 still installed and a genuine 10.6 DVD.
