update - it does seem to work ... but I have seen some strangenesses. - an exception failure, ~ bad number pof parameters - a case where no more headlines appear below the 'decluttered' one. TIL in Leo: decluttering headlines
I had never seen this before: https://leo-editor.github.io/leo-editor/customizing.html#decluttering-headlines this seems very cool! I have been messing around with node icons, but this seems a much better scheme. Is the documentation up to date?
