You're really not giving us very much to go by. Which version of the
book? Which section? Just saying 'binutils' isn't enough, as we build it
twice. What's the actual error? By which I mean copy-pasted from the
console, not just your summary of it.

Remember, we can't see your screen, and nor can we read your mind. And
the less information you give us, the harder it is to help.
