https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125816 Octavio Alvarez changed: What|Removed |Added Status|RESOLVED|UNCONFIRMED Resolution|DUPLICATE |--- --- Comment #2 from Octavio Alvarez --- I am setting it back to UNCONFIRMED because this is not a duplicate of bug 106846. Bug 106846 talks about a specific way of enhancing the current UX regarding context-sensitivity of bars by implementing a new feature. This issue specifically talks about a bug that exists right now and it should be fixed, as opposed to an enhancement to implement. My current proposal is a simple fix (granted, a temporary fix) and way different from the new feature requested on 106846. Even if I proposed a definitive proposal, the main idea is the buggy part, not the definitive proposal. Marking this as a duplicate of an enhancement dismisses the fact that a bug exists and behavior is *currently* broken. Please verify the bug and acknowledge it so we can mark this issue as NEW. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

You can tell it your preference via SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN, but if that isn't available or fails to load, it will be ignored and the fallback list tested, so LO can start at all. You can only be sure what you're running LO with, if you check the VCL value in "About LibreOffice". > > What happens if you install the libobasis6.2-kde-integration from 6.2.4 and > > then remove (or rename) the file libkde5be1lo.so in > > /opt/libreoffice6.2/program/ ? > > Result is same: crash in same places, e.g. mouse hover on File>Send. And the backtrace is totally different. But all this proves my suspicion that maybe LO is using some Qt5 or KF5 function, which isn't actually available in your old libraries. LibreOffice tries to load the plugin library (libvclplug*.so) but that fails. How to translate the toolbar into multiple languages?
Hello dear members of LibreOffice support, I want to translate an application based on Macros developed in French to include default English for our GNU/Linux distribution. I've already found how to translate dialog boxes into multiple languages, and have default English: https://help.libreoffice.org/Basic/Translation_of_Controls_in_the_Dialog_Editor I can not find on the Internet how to have the translation of the text of the icons of a toolbar in English by default, and also in French according to the language selected by the user. My files for defining the toolbar are called custom_toolbar_.xml, and are in this format: | "-//OpenOffice.org//DTD OfficeDocument 1.0//EN" "toolbar.dtd"> http://openoffice.org/2001/toolbar; xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink; toolbar:uiname="Niveau1 medias"> xlink:href="vnd.sun.star.script:Standard.Module6.gerer_cadre_image1?language=Basiclocation=application" toolbar:text="Ajouter ou modifier une image"/> xlink:href="vnd.sun.star.script:Standard.Module6.aggrandir_cadre_images?language=Basiclocation=application" toolbar:text="Agrandir limage"/> xlink:href="vnd.sun.star.script:Standard.Module6.gerer_fond_ecran?language=Basiclocation=application" toolbar:text="Ajouter ou modifier une image de fond "/> | Is it possible to put a language attribute in these files to specify on which language the translation carries? If not, where can we find the syntax of the toolbar.dtd format? Thanks in advance for your help. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 125817] New: Zero-width lines invisible on MacBook
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125817 Bug ID: 125817 Summary: Zero-width lines invisible on MacBook Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.4.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Mac OS X (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Draw Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: brian.bj.parke...@gmail.com Description: On a recent macbook (e.g MacBook Pro 2108) with a high resolution display, zero-width lines disappear. Zero width lines are meant to show as a single pixel (thinnest possible width) line. This is a problem as new lines in Draw default to zero width, and also help lines in Draw don't show as presumably they are being drawn zero-width. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open draw to get a new canvas 2. Select line drawing tool and add a line to the canvas 3. Line will be invisible 4. Go to styles and right click on default, and click modify 5. Change line width from zero to 0.5 mm. Now line will appear. 6. Enable view|grid and help lines| help lines while moving 7. Drag line or other shape on canvas- help lines do not show. Actual Results: A default line does not display on high resolution MacBook displays as zero width lines are incorrectly not being shown as single pixel wide lines. Expected Results: By default adding a line using draw should show a thin line. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 125816] New: The active document should NEVER move, despite toolbars appearing/disappearing
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125816 Bug ID: 125816 Summary: The active document should NEVER move, despite toolbars appearing/disappearing Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.1.5.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Impress Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: octa...@alvarezp.org Description: Some toolbars appear and disappear depending on the current context. This makes the active document to jump around (tested under Impress but also seen in Draw). When tested under a fresh profile the problem is just hidden away because of the default settings, but LibreOffice allows us to show and move toolbars around. I like using the Text Formatting toolbar instead of the side pane, as I find it way more intuitive than the side pane. However, having that toolbar shown makes using Impress extremely frustrating. The steps to reproduce have been prepared for a use case under a fresh, unmodified setup: the table toolbar. The quick solution I propose is to prevent toolbars from disappearing when in docked state. A more definitive solution would involve doing the quickfix and then adding a "contextual" toolbar that shows whatever toolbar is appropriate for the current context, but never disappearing. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Impress with a fresh profile. 2. Create a table. 3. Alternate between clicking on the table and clicking outside of the slide but within the workspace. Actual Results: The presentation (the slide) jumps. It jumps vertically if the toolbar is horizontally docked or it jumps horizontally if the toolbar is vertically docked. It is a moving target for my mouse pointer. Expected Results: The presentation (the slide) should not jump. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Version: 6.1.5.2 Build ID: 1:6.1.5-1 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.1; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-US (en_US.utf8); Calc: group threaded (I don't know if OpenGL is enabled). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 125810] Problem with toolbar customization
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125810 --- Comment #5 from Dave Barton --- I can confirm this issue. The Vertical Text option appears in the Visible Buttons list, but cannot be made active on the toolbar, neither can it be added from the Customize Toolbar option in LO 6.2.4.2 under Linux, Windows 8.1 & 10(1903). The issue does not exist in LO 6.2.4.2 under Windows 7. I noticed the issue existed in a LO 6.3 alpha install from last week. I will grab a more recent copy tomorrow and report test results. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=122052 Scott C changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |WORKSFORME Status|NEW |RESOLVED --- Comment #4 from Scott C --- Hi All, Sorry for the delay here. I initially filed this ticket and at the time it was a defect in the current Fedora package. After the comment on 1/16, I did attempt with the dev/master build and it was fixed there. It is also resolved in the current fedora release. So thank you!!! Sorry for my delay in updating this, but better late than never I suppose. Here is the note I intended to put into bugzilla at the time, and the build details are below: I attempted to reproduce it using the LibreOfficeDev build below and could not - this appeared to work as expected! Must have been fixed at some point. To make sure I wasn't crazy, I tried again with the current fedora release and the bug is still present there, so I'll list that below as well in case that is useful information. Thank you all!! At the time (shortly after 1/16), was broken in Fedora Package: Version: 6.1.2.1 Build ID: 6.1.2.1-4.fc29 It worked in: Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 86501f577638b44042c35e601d13651992b64fd5 Also currently works in the current Fedora package: Version: 6.2.4.2.0+ Build ID: 6.2.4.2-1.fc30 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
