No, that is not how someone called "you" designed it. Format -> Page isn't
bound to "Default" page style; it opens whatever page style is *current* (i.e.,
active at the place where your cursor is). If you have several page styles
applied to different parts of your document, then it will open one style when
you are on one page, and it will open another style when you are on another.
And you need to understand that landscape/portrait toggle on the page style
settings dialog isn't connected in *any way* with style names. Style names are
just some arbitrary strings, and no one would argue if you will re-define your
"Default" to be landscape-oriented - and that *by no means* should affect other
styles, or their listing in whatever places they are chosen.

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60232 --- Comment #15 from my real name --- There actually seems to be one identifier that links the entry with the database, and it's the "identifier" field, which has to be unique to each database entry, and if you copy and paste text that contains references to a blank database-less odt document, sillily, the identifier is copied and not the reference number. I'm using version 6.1.5.2, and while still a buggy mess, it isn't absolutely hopeless, after updating the database, removing and adding several entries, everything gets gradually fixed by itself. The most annoying thing is repeated entry numbers, which I have to deal one by one, deleting and reinserting. Another annoying "feature" is that you cannot search the entries in the text, a workaround is that you can copy to a plain text application and then search to find offending entries, because the reference number and not the identifier is copied to plain text (maybe "paste special" would work?). So this is the bug to fix: If I create a new blank document Format --> Page --> Page --> Landscape then I am permanently stuck in landscape. Insert --> Manual Page Break does not allow me to switch back to Portrait as the default is now landscape and portrait is not is the list. "pm1" and "pm2" are not created properly. With Deiter's, I am able to switch without issue. Mine (Todd's), if I set the first page to landscape, I am stuck in landscape. If I set (leave the first page in Portrait, I can do switch orientations with Manual Break without issue, but if I go back and erase the first page so that the second page which is in Landscape is now the first page, everything gets converted to Landscape. Visio has as MSO in general there special keymaping so it's not usefull to use the Visio shortcuts. Are there any Canadian developers actively working on LibreOffice code? I am asking for this information as I am leading on the start/organizing of a community group in Waterloo Ontario. We have had our inaugural meeting in July, It would be nice to have the name of some Canadian devs who work on the code and as contact persons in case we have local questions pertinent to the Canadian group.
