Tested it with LO v5.4 and it did not capitalise. Then with the repository version (6.0) also worked as it should. The copied the config from .config/libreoffice/4 to .config/libreofficedev/4 and as you can see from the latest attachment, it capitalises. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 125662] Bad allocation crash while saving Calc with copied columns (x86)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125662 --- Comment #5 from MarvinWWW --- I am also seeing this problem A LOT over the past few days (since 25 November 2019). I have two large files that I can send to you that should help in isolating the problem, but I do not quite see how to attach them to this form. One of the files is a text version of the Windows 10 System Information (about 0.8 Mbytes) so you can see the specifications of my computer and the Windows 10 version number and all of those things. The other file is an actual spreadsheet file (.ods file) that causes the problem very consistently. It is about 15 Mbytes. I only have 1 Mbit/sec internet, so I do not want to attach the files incorrectly and waste a lot of time, then find out that I have to start again. For now, I can tell you that I have spent a lot of time using LibreOffice Calc over the past few years. About nine months ago I installed LibreOffice 6.1.5 and used it up until this week creating a dozen or so *large* spreadsheets with file sizes of 180 Mbytes or more. These are slow to load and slow to save, but other than that they *had* been working fine. Suddenly that all changed this week. I cannot seem to do the simplest operation in any of those large files without getting a Bad Allocation error message when I try to save my changes. I started all over on a new file and gradually built it up to be very much like my other files. When it reached about 15 Mbytes in size, I started getting the Bad Allocation error. It has lots of tabs (lots of sheets) but in particular it has two named Orig Historical Price Data and Orig Historical Cap Data. The first of these two contains almost 4000 records. I would like the second of these two to be an exact copy of the first (as a starting point for my work). However, I can only copy a few hundred records from one to the other and still save the changes. If I copy thousands of records from one to the other, then I get a Bad Allocation message when I try to save the changes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 129093] New: Could we implement a command minibuffer a la "search command" in Microsoft Office or execute-extended-command in emacs
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129093 Bug ID: 129093 Summary: Could we implement a command minibuffer a la "search command" in Microsoft Office or execute-extended-command in emacs Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: UI Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: 1463809...@qq.com Sometime I wanted to use a function, but it could be hard finding this function through toolbars and menus. It could be with writer, calc or impress. In Microsoft Office there is the "search command" feature, which is a one line text input box in the UI, there I could write some keywords, and it gives a pull-down menu of candidate actions, then by clicking on one of the candidate actions, I could apply some formatting, insert an object, or open a config dialog. The feature was reported[1]. It could be nice to have something analogous in LibreOffice. And there is the execute-extended-command in emacs, usually bound to M-x, which prompts for a command int the minibuffer, then executes that command after hitting return. execute-extended-command accepts exact command names. Many other softwares also have some similar concept. feature/skia merged to master - compile failure for Ubuntu 16.04
On Ubuntu 16.04 I needed to add --disable-skia (which let the build proceed) because I was getting the following error: /usr/bin/ld.gold: error: cannot find -lGLX collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status git/libreoffice/external/skia/Library_skia.mk:10: recipe for target 'git/libreoffice/instdir/program/libskialo.so' failed make[1]: *** [git/libreoffice/instdir/program/libskialo.so] Error 1 ld.gold --version GNU gold (GNU Binutils for Ubuntu 2.28) 1.14 I didn't find any reference to this error in a google search, or in the skia build notes, so I'm not sure what is missing in order to get this to compile on 16.04. Any ideas? I'm assuming that libglx0 (available on 18.04) is what lets it work there, but there does not seem to be a libglx0 for 16.04. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 109425] Libreoffice Notebookbar is not exposing accessible events needed for screen reader users.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=109425 --- Comment #21 from Jim Raykowski --- Hi Andreas, I should have jumped in earlier to let you know I was testing the patches. Here are some concerns I've found with Notebookbar_single.ui 1) I think Default-Grow and Default-Shrink buttons need to be visible. 2) Draw-FormatArea button does the same action as Draw-FormatArea2 button. There is differences in visible when horizontal/vertical and icon. Are both required? 3) Similar to 2, Grapic-GraphicDialog1 button does the same action as Graphic-GraphicDialog button in the GraphicContainer 4) Print preview only shows undo and paste buttons. To show all the buttons in the print container the visible property needs to be set to True. I haven't investigated why it is required in the .ui file to be set visible for the PrintContainer and not for the other containers. True 5) Crash occurs in print preview when Close Preview button is pressed - can be reproduced in previous versions. I don't know much about XContextChangeEventMultiplexer addContextChangeEventListener which seems to be the cause of the crash. cssl::IllegalArgumentException("listener added twice", static_cast(this), 0) get thrown. Re: Writing a LibreOffice extension that logs user (and other) events in real-time
Take a look at event listeners to see what they can do the biggest problems will probably be related to things such as understanding which event listeners get called in which orders and also things like what will cause an event listener to disappear such as changing from a print view to a regular view and finally some of that information could be really tricky such as understanding that they have selected a particular region when what you really have access to is things like mouse clicks and down and up and that sort of thing. Writing a LibreOffice extension that logs user (and other) events in real-time
Hi, I'm new to LibreOffice extension development. To prevent my team and I investing too much time in studying how to write LibreOffice extensions, I want to pose a question: Is it possible to capture/intercept all - or at least most - user events that occur within LibreOffice by means of an extension, in real- time? For example, suppose that someone 0) opens a new document in Writer by using the drop-down menu item "New -> Text Document", 1) types a text, 2) selects a region using the mouse, 3) presses the Italic button (so that the region becomes Italic), and 4) saves the text by pressing Ctrl-s. Can you log all this information in real-time? Could you even log each keypress of the user when this user is writing the text? And can you also differentiate between the different methods that have been used to accomplish a certain task? For example, can one distinquish between saving a file by selecting a drop-down menu item, or saving a file by using the short-cut key Ctrl-s? Can this also be done for *other* extensions? Can you also log events that occur within these? Or should we use another approach to accomplish this all? (Although not needed for answering the question: If you wonder - the context has something to do with process mining ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Process_mining) -- in this case to optimise software usage...) [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 129087] Can not uninstall 6.3.2.2
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129087 --- Comment #2 from V Stuart Foote --- Find the MSI installers for the prior (6.3.2.2 build); donwload them again [1] if you'd deleted from your system. Bet sure to get the correct installer for your locale and prior install. First though restart the computer. Then launch a Windows Command prompt, or PowerShell, 'run as administrator' to get an admin level prompt. Next change directory for the command window or powershell to where you downloaded the msi installer packages. Want to first uninstall the LibreOffice Help, then the main LibreOffice program. But in case things go wrong again you'll want to capture a verbose log of the uninstall. Enter these commands one at a time (adjust the package name): msiexc.exe /X LibreOffice_6.3.2.2_Win_x64_helppack_en-US.msi /L*v uninstallHelpLog.txt msiexc.exe /X LibreOffice_6.3.2.2_Win_x64.msi /L*v uninstallLog.txt And, if uninstall still goes wrong, the logs will have some details on what happened. Zip them up and attach--we'll have a look. Hope that clears things up and you can proceed to install 6.3.3 or 6.3.4, or even the pending 6.4.0rc. But you may have to reset the installer cache--but that is something more involved. =-ref-= [1] https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
