[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 134133] Go back in presenting mode leads to dropped animation steps
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134133 --- Comment #10 from Pierre C --- This is a basic feature that is broken. Navigating within a presentation, going back, broke all animations... LO 6.3, 6.4, 7.0, 7.1 are impacted. 6.3 and 6.4 are end of life, and should have minimum regressions. 7.0.4.1 seems to have this regression too, and if nobody works on this bug 7.0.4.2 will have it too Next 7.0.5 is planed for march... I really don't understand. This bug has been reported nearly 6 months ago, confirmed, bi-bisected. Navigating within a presentation isn't a basic needed feature. Am I the only user to use this feature with my students, when want to see something back ? Or maybe, many peoples use another software, because this one is too buggy. TDF spent many efforts to promote LO. And every days, in front of many peoples, we show how this quality is low when trying, to just go back within a slide... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

No action seems to remove or prevent these border lines. The same image file into the same document does not show any borders when action done in MS Word. The image formats can be bmp or jpg but the lines still appear. Resizing the image sometimes removes the lines but usually not both lines at bottom and right and they frequently reappear. The bug was in version 6.4.4 and is still in 7.0.3. following an update. The border lines are probably there in images with coloured backgrounds but cannot be seen as they can be with a white background. The bug occurs with doc, docx or odt formats. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Insert image file with white background into document 2.Position and resize image 3. Actual Results: Border line shows along bottom or the right side or both. Expected Results: Image should show in document without any border lines. There should be white image background against white page without any visible border lines. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 138555] Calc: NameBox display does not clear on selection when updating
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138555 --- Comment #3 from aconcerned...@protonmail.com --- Can you clarify your comment? "Makes a difference, playing with the option in Menu/Tools/LibreOficce/View - Graphics output" Are you asking me to check if it makes a difference? I do not have an option under Tools for "LibreOficce/View - Graphics output". Can you be clearer in what info you need and the steps necessary for me to provide the information to you? The reported bug has been present in at least the last several versions, if not longer. Same issue on Debian 10, Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04, and on Windows 10 Pro. It does not appear to be a graphics issue, rather the value of the Name Box is not being set to the name of the clicked cell. If I click on A1, the Name Box is updated to display "A1", if I then click on A2, "A1" stays in the Name Box and "A2" is 'overlaid' on top of "A1" in the Name Box. Clicking on a new cell should remove the previous value (clicking on A1, the Name Box should display "A1", clicking on "A2" the Name Box should display "A2", not A1 with A2 overlaid on top. Clicking on the Name Box after experiencing the issue displays only the last clicked Cell ("A2" and clears "A1" from the Name Box finally) but if I click on another cell, "A3", then "A2" is overlaid with "A3" in the Name Box, and if I click on several cells individually (B6, Q12, F19), then each of those cell names become overlaid over "A2" and "B2" as well. I recorded a video (.mp4) and will try to attach it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59587 --- Comment #5 from QA Administrators --- Dear paolo_debortoli, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 138546] Writer: multi-column page formating reset when editing page style.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138546 Jean-Baptiste Faure changed: What|Removed |Added CC||jbfa...@libreoffice.org --- Comment #2 from Jean-Baptiste Faure --- For me there is no bug here. When you click the Apply button you ask to apply the page style, including the column width it defines. The columns have probably been resized so that their widths no longer correspond to what is defined by the page style. I tested on a new document and the default width for a 2 columns page with 0 margins is not the column width of your page style. That said if I try to change the column widths in the page style to match what they should be, the values are lost when I reopen the page style dialog. I think your problem comes from the use of border (right) instead of margin. In the attached file, I modified the page style : - right border : 0 - right margin : 2,3 cm - size of the background image set to the page size - columns 2 (left < right), size 7,6 cm , 11,69 cm with these settings, I have a page style with stable column widths. Note: I suggest you to ask on us...@fr.libreoffice.org mailing list for help to improve the layout of your document. For example, defining multiple columns when you use only one, is not a good idea. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 138556] New: Stock Chart easily corrupts data on saving
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138556 Bug ID: 138556 Summary: Stock Chart easily corrupts data on saving Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.0.3.1 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Chart Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: aerkia...@gmail.com Description: Creating a Stock Chart with simple data, saving and reopening is sufficient to corrupt the data. The styles applied to the chart elements were also altered. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Writer or Impress (didn't test on Calc) 2. Click 'Insert' -> 'Chart...' 3. Select the chart, right click and open 'Chart Type...' dialog. 4. Select 'Stock Chart 1' as type. 5. Now open the 'Data Table' dialog. 6. There's a single data series with three components: 'Low Values', 'High Values' and 'Close Values'. Click on the label for the data series and then on 'Delete Series'. 7. Click 'Insert Series' twice to insert two data series. These have the same components, plus a fourth 'Open Values'. 8. Optionally, click on 'Delete Row' three times to simplify the next step. 9. Enter data on all cells except the 'Open Values'. Something like 1, 3, 2; 4, 6, 5 will do. 10. Close the dialog, deselect the chart, save the file and close LibreOffice. 11. Reopen the same file. Actual Results: The chart seems clearly broken, with a different style (some data series are now black), names of data series removed, data corrupted and a new anonymous data series. Opening the data table for this chart reveals that those 'Open Values' are no longer there; while the one for the first data series has apparently simply vanished, the second one has pushed into the 'Low Values' of the data series, shifting all cells to the right, so the last cell overflows into a new data series. Expected Results: The chart should contain the same data and have the same styles applied as when it was originally saved. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: In a more complex example, other effects could be seen. Some series were renamed while others weren't, line width was dropped, even some data series were reordered.
