Re: [Question] How to check Zipped file format on LibreOffice

2021-11-24 Thread DaeHyun Sung
Dear, Caolán McNamara.

Thanks for your reply.

Hmm, I have hwp v3.0 file and hwp v5.0 file.

I also attached test hwp v5.0 file "hello.hwp" and hwp v3.0 file
"hellov3.hwp".

also check it please. Then, I'll read the
writerfilter/source/filter/WriterFilter.cxx file.

Sincerely,

[Question] How to check Zipped file format on LibreOffice

2021-11-24 Thread DaeHyun Sung
Hello, I'm DaeHyun Sung, from South Korea.

I found the Bugzilla report "tdf#144747 FILEOPEN When opening any Hancom
Word hwp document garbage is displayed"
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=144747
(Thanks Ming Hua to inform me. )

So, I read hwpfilter module on LibreOffice.
LibreOffice only supported hwp v3.0(HWP97 version) file format.
 However, In Korea, Broadly used to hwp v5.0 file format.
It is zipped Compound File Binary Format. So, I added read & check zipped
format

I submitted my works on gerrit (WIP)
https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/125782

Though, I added a check zip file format code.
But, It doesn't check and error.
Below is added  my code
===
 uno::Reference xContext =
comphelper::getProcessComponentContext();
SAL_WARN("HwpImportFilter::detect", "xContext");
uno::Reference  xZip(
packages::zip::ZipFileAccess::createWithURL(xContext, sURL));

if (xZip.is())
{
SAL_WARN("HwpImportFilter::detect", "That maybe HWP v5.0 format");
uno::Reference const
isHwpV5FileHeaderStream(xZip->getByName("FileHeader"),
uno::UNO_QUERY);
}

===

In my opinion, I found the reading zip module follows LibreOffice core
source codes. But It doesn't works.
So, I have a question.

How to check Zipped file(It contained Compound File Binary Format) on
LibreOffice?

Check it please!

Re: I want to translate Github Libre Office README.md into Korean.

2021-11-08 Thread DaeHyun Sung
Dear

Korean follows English.
Hello, I'm DaeHyun Sung, LibreOffice Korean Team Leader.
I saw your Korean name on Mailinglist, So, I also wrote down Korean text.

Straightforwardly, You can't translate Github's LibreOffice repo README.md.
LibreOffice's repository in Github is a read-only repository copied from
gerrit repository[ https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/ ].
As a result, You can't modify the README.md file.

LibreOffice's Korean translation activity includes wiki translation( as
mentioned earlier by Ilmari) and software translation and so on.
First of all, you have to read wiki document
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/GetInvolved

If you have any questions about translation(such as wiki or software, etc),
please contact me.
My email address is dhsung at libreoffice dot org .

I have an additional question. Is your activity a university assignment?
During this time of some years, I saw some students that did homeworks(Open
source contribution) as a class assignment for one of the CS subjects at
one of universities in Seoul, Korea.

If you have any personal inquiries, please contact me by e-mail ( dhsung
at libreoffice dot org ).

https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/GetInvolved/ko
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/GetInvolved

저의 메일은 dhsung at libreoffice dot org 입니다.

Sincerely,
DaeHyun Sung(성대현, 成大鉉)

Can some characters, '<' and '>' add in Korean Line break rules file on LibreOffice?

2021-07-10 Thread DaeHyun Sung
Hello, All.
I'm DaeHyun Sung, I'm Korean.

I checked Korean Line break rules file (
i18npool/source/localedata/data/ko_KR.xml ).
Below is one of the file contents, Korean Line break rules file on
LibreOffice.

Korean Line break rules file ( i18npool/source/localedata/data/ko_KR.xml )
is an xml file format.
So, I want some characters, '<' and '>', But, There doesn't add some
characters '<' and '>'.

So, I converted '>' to ''. '<' to ''.

In the xml file, I had already converted '>' to ''. '<' to ''. But,
It doesn't work on LibreOffice.

In Korean, The character '<' can't end a line. Also The character '>'
can't start a line.
But, As a LibreOffice's xml rule, it doesn't define the Line Break rules in
Korean on LibreOffice.

Belows are the Example of Line Break rules in Korean.

How can I add the special characters '<' and '>' to the xml file?

Fix Line break rule in Korean

I found the bug, Line break rule in Korea don't work
using `" -U+0022: Quotation Mark` & `' - U+0027: Apostrophe`

So I fixed the bug in xml file.
`` to `' - U+0027: Apostrophe`
`` to `" - U+0022: Quotation Mark`

Because, `'` and `"` are still displayed in several other line break rules.
such as, zh_CN.xml and zh_TW.xml, etc.

Re: What is the best fit for hindiVowels import? CHARS_PERSIAN or CHARS_NEPALI

2021-06-28 Thread DaeHyun Sung
Hello, everyone.

I'm DaeHyun Sung from S Korea.
I'm a Korean & LibreOffice Korean Team leader.

I read the source code, "sw/source/filter/ww8/docxattributeoutput.cxx"
https://docs.libreoffice.org/sw/html/docxattributeoutput_8cxx_source.html
https://git.libreoffice.org/core/+/refs/heads/master/sw/source/filter/ww8/docxattributeoutput.cxx

But, In Korean, the usually used enum lists are removed.

6967 case style::NumberingType::HANGUL_CIRCLED_JAMO_KO:
6968 case style::NumberingType::HANGUL_CIRCLED_SYLLABLE_KO:

In Korean environment, many of wordprocessors use both
"style::NumberingType::HANGUL_CIRCLED_JAMO_KO" and
" style::NumberingType::HANGUL_CIRCLED_SYLLABLE_KO"
It uses both MS Word & HWP(Hangul Word Processor)

And I compare with "sw/source/filter/ww8/ww8atr.cxx" and Microsoft's OOXML
manual
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/openspecs/office_standards/ms-oe376/a5deef83-bb01-410f-bde0-9c35abe4ca52

that site shows "The mapped numbering format values table."

follows code located at
case style::NumberingType::HANGUL_SYLLABLE_KO: nRet = 24; break;// ganada
case style::NumberingType::HANGUL_JAMO_KO: nRet = 25; break;// chosung
case style::NumberingType::HANGUL_CIRCLED_SYLLABLE_KO: nRet = 24; break;
case style::NumberingType::HANGUL_CIRCLED_JAMO_KO: nRet = 25; break;
case style::NumberingType::NUMBER_HANGUL_KO: nRet = 41; break;
case style::NumberingType::NUMBER_UPPER_KO: nRet = 44; break;

I guess that "style::NumberingType::HANGUL_CIRCLED_JAMO_KO" means these
characters.
㉠ ㉡ ㉢ ㉣ ㉤ ㉥ ㉦ ㉧ ㉨ ㉩ ㉪ ㉫ ㉬ ㉭  ㈀ ㈁ ㈂ ㈃ ㈄ ㈅ ㈆ ㈇ ㈈ ㈉ ㈊ ㈋ ㈌ ㈍

I guess that "style::NumberingType::HANGUL_CIRCLED_SYLLABLE_KO" means these
Characters.
㉮ ㉯ ㉰ ㉱ ㉲ ㉳ ㉴ ㉵ ㉶ ㉷ ㉸ ㉹ ㉺ ㉻㈎ ㈏ ㈐ ㈑ ㈒ ㈓ ㈔ ㈕ ㈖ ㈗ ㈘ ㈙ ㈚ ㈛

So, I'll check docx(OOXML) file and MS Word's bulletin numbering &
numbering works in Korean.

I think I found a Korean bug on LibreOffice in this email.

Sincerely,
DaeHyun Sung(성대현)

Changed font order for Korean locale tdf#137392

changed font order priority.

1. put 'Noto Sans KR' ahead of 'Noto Sans CJK KR'.
Because, New Noto Sans CJK font change the name.

New Noto Sans CJK V2.001 released on 10 Apr 2019.

In these font files, removed 'CJK' on names.

Nowadays, New Linux distributions includes Noto CJK font V2.0.
In Korean Linux environments, Noto CJK font v2.0 'Noto Sans KR' & 'Noto
Serif KR' are already set default.

2. fixed Windows fonts for Korean on LibreOffice
I watched Windows 10's Korean Font List

Microsoft Docs: Font List Windows 10 - Typography; Korean Supplemental Fonts

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/typography/fonts/windows_10_font_list#korean-supplemental-fonts

I missed 굴림체;GulimChe, 돋움체;DotumChe, 굴림체;GulimChe.
So. I added MS Default Korean fonts.

As a result, I changed font order and add default Windows font names.

tdf#134742 Distinguishing all CJK fonts such as Noto CJK Fonts.

Distinguishing both Korean and Japanese fonts from all
CJK[Chinese-Japanese-Korean] fonts such as Noto CJK font series and Source Han
Sans series, etc.

For the first time, I added Hardcode script for "Noto" CJK fonts.
 The "Noto" CJK fonts support to Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese,
Traditional Chinese HK, Japanese, and Korean (Pan-CJK fonts).

Nowadays, Noto CJK Fonts are shown '简繁'.

Noto font's KR(Korean, 한국어/한글) & JP(Japanese,日本語) represent Korean(KR,
It shows '한글') and Japanese(JP, It shows '日本語'), respectively. These are not
expressed in Chinese fonts, such as Simplified Chinese(简) and Traditional
Chinese(繁).
Also, Both TC(Traditional Chinese) and HK(Hong Kong) represent 繁. It
don't shown 简繁.
so, SC(Simplified Chinese) represent 简, It don't shown 简繁

   So, I fixed Font select option's Noto CJK-series font Examples on
LibreOffice
Noto Sans CJK HK 简繁 -> Noto Sans CJK HK 繁
Noto Sans CJK JP 简繁 -> Noto Sans CJK JP 日本語
Noto Sans CJK KR 简繁 -> Noto Sans CJK KR 한글
Noto Sans CJK SC 简繁 -> Noto Sans CJK SC 简
Noto Sans CJK TC 简繁 -> Noto Sans CJK TC 繁

Noto Sans Mono CJK HK 简繁 -> Noto Sans Mono CJK HK 繁
Noto Sans Mono CJK JP 简繁 -> Noto Sans Mono CJK JP 日本語
Noto Sans Mono CJK KR 简繁 -> Noto Sans Mono CJK KR 한글
Noto Sans Mono CJK SC 简繁 -> Noto Sans Mono CJK SC 简
Noto Sans Mono CJK TC 简繁 -> Noto Sans Mono CJK TC 繁

Noto Serif CJK JP 简繁 -> Noto Serif CJK JP 日本語
Noto Serif CJK KR 简繁 -> Noto Serif CJK KR 한글
Noto Serif CJK SC 简繁 -> Noto Serif CJK SC 简
Noto Serif CJK TC 简繁 -> Noto Serif CJK TC 繁

However, It is only support to Noto CJK fonts and lack of distinguish fonts
for all CJK[Chinese-Japanese-Korean) fonts.

So, I think that change the code and improving the ability to distinguish
fonts between Korean, Chinese and Japanese.

1. `remove Hardcode script for "Noto" CJK fonts
2. add hardcode script at attemptToDisambiguateHan(UScriptCode eScript,
OutputDevice const ) and change distinguish among Korean, Japanese and
Chinese fonts.

Former
-static const sal_Unicode aKorean[] = { 0x3131 };
-static const sal_Unicode aJapanese[] = { 0x3007, 0x9F9D };
-static const sal_Unicode aTraditionalChinese[] = { 0x570B };
-static const sal_Unicode aSimplifiedChinese[] = { 0x56FD };
Korean: U+3131 ㄱ Hangul Letter Kiyeok
Japanese: U+3007 〇 Ideographic Number Zero & U+9F9D 龝
Traditional Chinese: U+570B
Simplified Chinese: U+56FD

That code’s problem
Both Japaese kanji U+3007 〇 and U+9F9D 龝 also uses in Korean & Chinese.

U+3007 〇
Definition: zero
It uses in CJK(Chinese, Japanese and Korean)
It usually uses number expression in MS Excel, LibreOffice.

U+9F9D 龝
Definition: autumn, fall; year
Mandarin Chinese reads qiū
Korean Hanja sound is 추 chu
Japanese Kun sound is ‘AKI' or ‘TOKI’
Japanese On sound is ‘SHUU’
That meaning likes ‘

Also, Both U+570B 國 and U+56FD 国 doesn't distinguish CJK languages.
Because, 'U+570B 國’ uses in Traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese texts.

Hardcode script for "Noto" CJK fonts & add USCRIPT_JAMO

1. Hardcode script for "Noto" CJK fonts.

The "Noto" CJK fonts support to Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese,
Traditional Chinese HK, Japanese, and Korean (Pan-CJK fonts).

Nowadays, Noto CJK Fonts are shown '简繁'.

Noto font's KR(Korean, 한국어/한글) & JP(Japanese,日本語) represent Korean(KR, It
shows '한글') and Japanese(JP, It shows '日本語'), respectively. These are not
expressed in Chinese fonts, such as Simplified Chinese(简) and Traditional
Chinese(繁).
Also, Both TC(Traditional Chinese) and HK(Hong Kong) represent 繁. It don't
shown 简繁.
so, SC(Simplified Chinese) represent 简, It don't shown 简繁

So, I fixed Font select option's Noto CJK-series font Examples on
LibreOffice
Noto Sans CJK HK 简繁 -> Noto Sans CJK HK 繁
Noto Sans CJK JP 简繁 -> Noto Sans CJK JP 日本語
Noto Sans CJK KR 简繁 -> Noto Sans CJK KR 한글
Noto Sans CJK SC 简繁 -> Noto Sans CJK SC 简
Noto Sans CJK TC 简繁 -> Noto Sans CJK TC 繁

Noto Sans Mono CJK HK 简繁 -> Noto Sans Mono CJK HK 繁
Noto Sans Mono CJK JP 简繁 -> Noto Sans Mono CJK JP 日本語
Noto Sans Mono CJK KR 简繁 -> Noto Sans Mono CJK KR 한글
Noto Sans Mono CJK SC 简繁 -> Noto Sans Mono CJK SC 简
Noto Sans Mono CJK TC 简繁 -> Noto Sans Mono CJK TC 繁

Noto Serif CJK JP 简繁 -> Noto Serif CJK JP 日本語
Noto Serif CJK KR 简繁 -> Noto Serif CJK KR 한글
Noto Serif CJK SC 简繁 -> Noto Serif CJK SC 简
Noto Serif CJK TC 简繁 -> Noto Serif CJK TC 繁

2. add USCRIPT_JAMO
It related with commit, ff0ed60c769da6f46acd9388e46922987e321d06

Remapping NatNum-DBNum in Korean for compatibility tdf#130193
Unlike Japanese and Chinese[Simplified, Traditional] environment on Excel,
In Korean Situation, Excel exist DBNum1~4.

I checked DBNum1~4 series on Excel 2016 in Korean Environment.

Also, I checked Korean Number to Strings on LibreOffice.

As a result,
1. from DBNum to NatNum (import):
 - DBNum1 -> NatNum4 (Korean Hanja text 한자숫자)
 - DBNum2 -> NatNum5 (Korean Upper Hanja text 갖은자)
 - DBNum3 -> NatNum6 (fullwidth Arabic digits with Korean hanja unit of
Numbering)
 - DBNum4 -> NatNum10 (Korean Hangul text)

I found the Bug for NatNum6 (I'll change Korean Hangul to Hanja for
compatibility)

2. From NatNum to DBNum
 - NatNum1 -> DBNum1
 - NatNum2 -> DBNum2
 - NatNum3 -> DBNum3
 - NatNum4 -> DBNum1
 - NatNum5 -> DBNum2
 - NatNum6 -> DBNum3
 - NatNum7 -> DBNum1
 - NatNum8 -> DBNum2
 - NatNum9 -> DBNum4
 - NatNum10 -> DBNum4
 - NatNum11 -> DBNum4

By the way, I change test cases for Korean.
It is included in svl/qa/unit/svl.cxx

It solves the issue tdf#130140
Also, It related the issue tdf#130077

fix Korean Hangul Syllable Character order tdf#130067

i18npool/source/collator/data/ko_charset.txt
Korean Hangul syllables ordering is wrong.
Some hangul syllables are dissapeared on the text file.

Hangul Syllable ordering is already specified on Unicode Code chart.

Ref. Hangul Syllables Range: AC00–D7AF
https://unicode.org/charts/PDF/UAC00.pdf

That commit applies only Hangul Syllables range.
Korean Hanja[한자/漢字] range will require investigation.
hanja[한자/漢字] is korean name for chinese character.
