[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 47428] Drawing, FILESAVE, Embed color palette in document non working, libreoffice-3.5.1rc2 in linux Slackware-13.37

2012-06-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon

--- Comment #3 from sasha.libreoff...@gmail.com 2012-06-10 23:02:33 PDT ---
Thanks for additional testing. As I understand, LO now saves color palettes
into odg files. It may depend also from this:
Tools-Options-LibreOffice-User data
If all fields there are empty, nothing will be saved (anonimus mode)

As I understand, LO places palette from odg file into LO user profile. Please,
attach two odg files with different palettes for testing.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 50950] New: modify calc functions WEEKNUM, WEEKNUM_ADD to comply with ODFF1.2

2012-06-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50950

 Bug #: 50950
   Summary: modify calc functions WEEKNUM, WEEKNUM_ADD to comply
with ODFF1.2
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: LibO Master
  Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Spreadsheet
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: o...@dci-electronics.nl

The current UI functions WEEKNUM and WEEKNUM_ADD dor not strictly comply with
ODFF1.2 functions ISOWEEKNUM and WEEKNUM respectively.
I plan to correct this as suggested by Eike) by:
1 enhance UI WEEKNUM_ADD to support all ODF WEEKNUM modes
2 in the UI rename WEEKNUM to ISOWEEKNUM
3 change ISOWEEKNUM to accept only one parameter
4 during import's formula compile step for ISOWEEKNUM check if a second
  argument is provided
  a if so and if it is a constant value !=1 strip the argument (the
Monday case that was and is real ISO 8601)
  b if it is a constant value ==1 map the function to WEEKNUM
* there's a slight chance that a user wanted exactly the behavior
  ISO but Sunday resulting from the current undocumented
  implementation details, which isn't supported by ODF WEEKNUM
  definition, but I think that should be a very rare case, if at
  all, and is neglectable
  c if it is not a constant (i.e. computed) argument do nothing and let
the interpreter complain about the second parameter
A possible fifth step could be to rename UI WEEKNUM_ADD to WEEKNUM, with the
result that UI and ODF use the same function names.

This bug is a sub-bug of bug 50488

I am talking about the web side UI . At the moment it is not possible to go to
a list of one's bugs submitted - it needs direct access to that facility on
Bugzilla from the web side UI provided . This allows the submitter to track
their bugs - to refer to them - and to provide additional information . It's
basic Bugzilla operation but it is currently not available web side .

As you can see there is a horizontal line on the right side, which doesn't
exists on the left side. If my presentation stays in the single monitor mode

Also, please, try to provide some context when reporting a bug. Do not assume
that just because you know what are you talking about, everyone knows. It only
causes confusion.

How else is it supposed to be reported ? - this is the default 'context' - it's
what the people who are using it use - they are accessing the bugzilla from
outside the bugzilla environment - via the Libre Office web side log on .

Don't assume that just because you are operating within the Bugzilla
environment that everyone else is - when they are , in fact , accessing it from
outside .

And don't assume that they are using the same terminology that you are using .

Otherwise they will say why bother ? and not bother and that would be a pity
.

The alternate would be to set up a feedback page a la FireFox .

I think, if a bug is reported on 'Spreadsheet' component, it is not wrong to
assume the reporter sees a problem in Calc. _Unless_ something in the report
says otherwise.

Anyway, I do not care about bug reports for BSA...

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 50964] New: PresenterConsole - missing all images...

2012-06-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50964

 Bug #: 50964
   Summary: PresenterConsole - missing all images...
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: LibO Master
  Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: blocker
  Priority: medium
 Component: Presentation
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: michael.me...@novell.com

This is down to the PresenterConsole not getting the correct path to load it's
bitmaps from. It achieves this feat via:

void ReadContext::SetBitmapSourceExtension (const OUString
rsExtensionIdentifier)
{
// Get base path to bitmaps.
msBasePath = PresenterComponent::GetBasePath(mxComponentContext,
rsExtensionIdentifier);
}

Which erroneously returns '/' - the rsExtensionIdentifier is -very- odd (cf.
the sdext stuff like this:

Library_presenter.mk:
-DPRESENTER_IMPL_IDENTIFIER=\com.sun.PresenterScreen-$(PLATFORMID)\ \
StaticLibrary_pdfimport_s.mk:
-DPDFI_IMPL_IDENTIFIER=\com.sun.star.PDFImport-$(sdext_PLATFORM)\ \

Where the idea of mangling the PLATFORMID into some impl identifier came from I
have no clue - it seems crazy on the surface.

The code then calls:

::rtl::OUString PresenterComponent::GetBasePath (
const ReferenceXComponentContext rxComponentContext,
const OUString rsExtensionIdentifier)
{
static ::rtl::OUString sBasePath;
if (sBasePath.isEmpty())
{
// Determine the base path of the bitmaps.
Referencedeployment::XPackageInformationProvider xInformationProvider
(
rxComponentContext-getValueByName(
OUString(RTL_CONSTASCII_USTRINGPARAM(

/singletons/com.sun.star.deployment.PackageInformationProvider))),
UNO_QUERY);
if (xInformationProvider.is())
{
try
{
sBasePath =
xInformationProvider-getPackageLocation(rsExtensionIdentifier)
+ OUString(RTL_CONSTASCII_USTRINGPARAM(/));
}
catch (const deployment::DeploymentException)
{
}
}
}

And walking through:

dp_informationprovider.cxx's

rtl::OUString PackageInformationProvider::getPackageLocation(

shows it operating on an empty sequence. ie.

const uno::Sequence uno::Reference deployment::XPackage   packages(
xManager-getDeployedExtensions(
repository,
uno::Reference task::XAbortChannel (),
uno::Reference css_ucb::XCommandEnvironment  () ) );

returns an empty sequence. That seems to be the cause of the problem.

Thinking this over, the expected behavior might be that extraneous

that by expanding the attributed range. Actually LibO 3.4 treated this
differently and did not show the message on export.

I had to change the export of attribute only rows because without the row
height information which are part of the attributes we misplace cell anchored

Different display with LOdev 3.7, some elements are displayed better, some
worse, p.ex. two frames on top missing. Additionally with LOdev 3.7: text
starts a bit lower then it should, therefore the document has 4 pages instead
of 2.

(Margins have the same values in Word 2007 and all tested LibO versions).

(Document 2 has misplaced frames, same display with LibO 3.3.4, LibO 3.4.5, and
LOdev 3.7. The bug should be filed separately, it is a DOC document)

it is still NOT working.
only the first worksheet is in the PDF
there is no possibility to chose an other sheet then copy/paste each sheet in
an empty calc file.
also when printing out ALL sheets in a file, there is only the first sheet in

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 50943] Opening large spreadsheet and making any changes extremely slow

The spreadsheet does contain confidential information - I will see if I can
remove the confidential parts and still get the same result.

One thing I noticed today (since discovering OpenOffice 3.4.0) is that both
LibreOffice 3.4.5 and OpenOffice 3.4.0 configure C++ something or other but
LibreOffice 3.5.X does not (and OpenOffice 3.4.0 loads my spreadsheet really
quickly and also updates really quickly). The spreadsheet does contain a graph
as well.

I would be happy if the Navigator panel were editable. Word wrap would be nice
but not essential.
I like very much that Navigator gives a panel where the formatting is hidden,
and you can just see the words/ideas/concepts in logical sequence.

XLS file showing issue

Problem description:
Freezing rows/cols does not work with sheets beyond #2 - XLS file

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the attached XLS file
2. look at 'sheet 2' and compare to 'sheet 3'

Current behavior:
Sheets 3 and above have no frozen rows/cols

Expected behavior:
All sheets should have the same frozen rows/cols

Notes:

The file is OK when opened with Excel 2003, Excel 2007, and Gnumeric
1.10.12. The panes appear where expected and fiddling with the mouse wheel and
the horizontal scroll bar produce the expected effects in all 5 sheets.

The problem appears with LibreOffice Calc 3.5.2.2,
and LibreOffice 3.5.1.2 Build ID: dc9775d-05ecbee-0851ad3-1586698-727bf66, on

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 42092] SVG in PDF export becomes BITMAP

2012-06-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon

--- Comment #22 from Luke l...@deller.id.au 2012-06-11 18:32:41 UTC ---
The workaround is no good for me as I am creating the ODT separately, and using
LibreOffice purely for conversion to PDF.

Until this can be fixed properly, could we increase the DPI at which the SVG is
rasterized so that it is suitable for printing? This can already be achieved
by selecting PDF/A output, but that has other side-effects too such as font
embedding. It would be very helpful if all PDF output used a suitable DPI for
rasterization of SVG.
