An active project django-openid-auth (which depends on python-openid) might be
a good choice to do that:

Opening the attached file took 5minutes+ till I killed LO.

What operating system are you using? Is it OSX?

Can you attach a sample document where this happens?

REPRODUCIBLE with LibreOffice 3.6.1.2, German (!) langpack installed, on Mac OS
X 10.6.8 (Intel). So:
a) NOT localization-specific, at least not specific to Russian UI, and
b) NOT platform-specific.

To test, I did:
1) Start LibreOffice 3.6.1.2.
2) Create a new Writer document.
3) Type some nonsense. I used just a single word:
  build
   followed by a single newline/carriage return;
this was really nonsense, because the default language was German,
and therefore build was marked as wrong by the little red wavy line.
4) Select Tools Spelling and Grammar... from the menu.
5) Go word for word over the text, replacing every word by some choice
from the replacement list and clicking Change,
   until LibreOffice says Spell checking is complete;
for me, the final result was:
  Bild
still followed by a single newline/carriage return.
6) Now take a look at menu Edit: the first entries now read
  Rückgängig: Überschreiben: $1
  Wiederherstellen
  Letzter Befehl: Überschreiben: $1
I will attach a screenshot of this result.

Here the exact steps to reproduce :

1. Fresh LibO installation
2. Create new Text document
3. Menu Insert Manuel break
Insert Page break with Landscape style
4. Menu Insert Manuel break
Insert Page break with Standard style
5. In the bottom-right on the main window, just left to the zoom slide, select
the second button with 2 pages.
6. Use the zoom slide to have the first 2 pages showed on the same row.

You should see what is represented by the screenshot

I've reproduce it on MacOS 10.7 LibO 3.6.1

It looks to me this is not just DB2 specific, because as noted in my previous
post what ever I enter into JDBC window dialogs (steps 3 and 4 and press Test
in step 5) LibreOffice crashes. In my humble opinion it has to be some general
crash problem. Can someone else test JDBC connection with some other database
beside DB2? To confirm if this is really DB2 specific.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 50860] EDITING: Copy Sheet Moves Formulas

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50860

--- Comment #4 from lucy lus...@hotmail.com 2012-09-12 07:35:25 UTC ---
I have same problem -using version 3.5.6.2 (on Windows 7)
Producing summary sheets referenced to data in 16 sheets.
Arranging summary data from each sheet in rows - in the same order as sheets in
file. The row order of the references become jumbled randomly but the
references within the row remain the same and rest of data copies correctly
(including formulas with in the rows)
A problem because in my case the rows are then labelled as containing data from
another sheet -just glad I realised it had happened.

Copy sheet next to original works, copy in another sheet position references
become jumbled. Repeated copying in same position maintains the same jumbled
order, copying into another sheet position jumbles reference but in a different
order.
My sheet references have format =sheetname.$C$122 - changing to
=$sheetname.$C$122 stops the jumbling but shift F4 does seem to add the $ to
the sheet name and if this is required it should happen when you are linking to
another a sheet...
(sorry can't upload file as it contains personal client info)

My operating system is OS X 10.8.1 (Mountain Lion).

I don't know why, but this issue doesn't appear allways, but very often.
Perhaps especialy with texts copied from mail (today at least I have had again
this problem in relation to mail/LOffice). Sometimes a document where I had
this problem, suddenly, has it no more.

You could do these steps:

1.- Either open LOffice and select Document of Text (Writer) or open some text
you already have.

2.- Open mail. Select a piece of text (command + C) and past it in the Writer
(command + V).

3.- Does appear the pasted text where you decided or rather at the end of the
document and without format? This is the question.

Best regards.

Thank you very much for your bug report!

I agree with you that this is a critical issue. It is already known, therefore
I mark this report as a duplicate of the main bug report for this issue --
i.e., bug 39007.

In the report for bug 39007 you will find some suggestions how to solve the
problem, at least for some time (see comments no. 2, 6, and 20 there).
Basically, you need to delete the file
org.libreoffice.script.savedState
from the folder
~/Library/Saved Application State/
(~ is your user/home folder) and to reboot your Mac.

I hope that our developers will fix this issue soon and for good, but it seems
it is not easy to fix, it is some kind of terrible misunderstanding between
LibreOffice and MacOS X = 10.7 (AFAIK = 10.7 only).

  Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED

Simple filter window in Lithuanian UI

Problem description: I am using a Lithuanian version of Libre Office and I've
found that filter dialog box is lacking some translated words.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Goto main menu DataFilterStandart filter;
2. A standart filter form appears.

Current behavior: In Lithuanian user interface firs operator appears to have a
correct translation (ARBA and IR), however the next ones get English (OR
and AND).

Expected behavior: English operator names must have also Lithuanian words
(ARBA or IR).

Platform (if different from the browser): Windows 7

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0.1

I'm on Win7 Home Premium, 64-bit.
Still seeing the same behavior of second point of JACOB. Also I noticed that
I can pin .ods files only in the jump list of new calc temporary icon file just
opened.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 54806] New: Saving to .xlsx format truncates two leading zeros of value dispite text cell format

2012-09-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54806

 Bug #: 54806
Summary: Saving to .xlsx format truncates two leading zeros of
value dispite text cell format
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 3.6.1.2 release
  Platform: x86 (IA32)
OS/Version: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Spreadsheet
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: kaktebyaviru...@gmail.com

Created attachment 67025
  -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=67025
files in different formats and only .xlsx format truncates leading zeros

We have a new speadsheet
Cell A1 has text format
We put any value in cell A1, for example, 10001643 and save document in
Microsoft Excel 2007/2010 .xlsx file format (test 1.xlsx)
In second step we add two leading zeros to value in cell A1. Now we have value
0010001643 in cell A1.
If we save document in Microsoft Excel 2007/2010 .xlsx file format, then after
closing file and opening it again, we can see that value in A1 cell is 10001643
without the two leading zeros, despite that it must be 0010001643 (test 2.xlsx)
If we save document in any other format (Microsoft Excel 97/2000/XP/2003 .xls
or .ods format - test 3.xls and test 4.ods), then after closing file and
opening it again in cell A1 we can see correct value 0010001643.

All tests done on Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Intel).
To test, I used the following steps:
0) Rename your LibO user profile folder, to make sure that
there is no influence of any special settings on the test
(I always do so before such tests).
1) Start LibreOffice;
   - the Start Center window appears.
2) Select LibreOffice  Preferences... from the menu;
   - the Options dialog window appears.
3) In the list at the left side of the window,
click on any top-level entry -- I mean, one of the
entries Load/Save, Language Settings, LibreOffice Base,
Charts, Internet, which can be unfolded to show the
   sub-entries.
   - Most times LibreOffice will crash now;
if not, click on another top-level entry.
It _may_ be necessary that the top-level entry is not
unfolded, but closed before you click on it.

Using these steps, the crash is REPRODUCIBLE with
* LibreOffice 3.6 daily (3.6.2.0+), Build ID: cfbfa26,
Pull time: 2012-09-07 10:35:10, German langpack installed
* LOdev 3.7.0.0.alpha0+, Build ID: 5ca197c,
Pull time: 2012-09-06 07:07:33, US English langpack installed

But the crash is NO longer reproducible with
* LibreOffice 3.6 daily (3.6.2.0+), Build ID: c303961,
Pull time: 2012-09-11 08:49:57, German langpack installed
* LOdev 3.7.0.0.alpha0+, Build ID: 2df0884,
Pull time: 2012-09-11 01:28:39, US English langpack installed

This indicates that this bug was fixed by Michael Meek’s patch for bug 47368:
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=3234b715b5a6d13ee673b41066eb565706be5ec9

This means in turn that this bug is correctly marked as a duplicate of bug
47368, which was fixed by the commit cited above.

A first column (A1;A5) contains data as numbers (chiffres) formatted as text.
In neighbouring column (B1:B5) B1 has the following formula :
CNUM(A1)

If you then press enter after typing this formula, the transformation to a
number occurs as it should.

This cell is then selected and a drag and fill operation carried out with the
mouse.

Cells B1, B2, B3 ... display the corrected value of B1.

However, the formulae for each line are displayed as :
B2  =CNUM(A2)
B3  =CNUM(A3)
...
In order for the required operation to be correctly carried out, you have to
click on the desired cell simulate a change/edit in the cell itself, and press
enter again.

This bug is very very similar to bug 52147 and bug 54282, which have been both
fixed by Michael Meek’s patch for bug 47368:
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=3234b715b5a6d13ee673b41066eb565706be5ec9

Therefore it is very probable that this bug has been fixed by that commit, too.

This is also indicated by the fact that the crash dump attached to the present
bug contains many (recursive) references to hitTestRunner(); there was a
problem with endless (?) recursion of this function which should have been
fixed by the commit cited above.

This means in turn that this bug is correctly marked as a duplicate of bug
47368, which was fixed by the commit cited above.

This fix will appear in LibreOffice 3.6.2 and 3.7.0.

@Sorin Sbarnea:

It would be very helpful if you could test if you can still reproduce this
crash with “Window Magnet” and the upcoming LibreOffice 3.6.2; in a few days, a
first release candidate will be available at

   http://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/

Or, if you are more adventurous, you can use the current daily build of
LibreOffice 3.6; it is available at

http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/MacOSX-Intel@3-OSX_10.6.0-gcc_4.0.1/libreoffice-3-6/current/

(Please note that the daily build should not be used for productive work.)

If you can NOT reproduce the crash with any of these versions, you could leave
a short note about that result in the present bug report.

But IF you still CAN reproduce the same (!) crash with any of these versions,
please set the Status of this bug report to REOPENED, and try to describe in as
much detail as possible what exactly is necessary to get the crash -- step by
step, even mouse click by mouse click.

Thank you very very much in advance!

Therefore it seems probable that this bug, even if it was still reproducible
under special circumstances, has been fixed by that commit, too, even if there
is a little difference (the present bug is about a hang, but bug 52147 and bug
54282 are about crashes; but this difference may be explained easily by the
different version of LibO and/or Mac OS X).

Cf. also bug 33359, which is even more similar to the present bug (about a
hang, too), and which is very probably fixed by the commit cited above.

This fix will appear in LibreOffice 3.6.2 and 3.7.0.

2012-09-10 17:54:53 UTC ---
Hm, I am not sure whether I understand what problem is reported here.

I can open Original-PPT-2010.pptx with MS PPT Viewer.

I can confirm that Original-PPT-2010.pptx saved from LibO as
Original-PPT-2010_savedfromlibo361.pptx can not be opened by MS PPT Viewer
(error message different from the ones in test kit), so the suspect that there
might be a LibO bug is at least plausible.

LibO and AOOo 3.4.1 open Original-PPT-2010_savedfromlibo361.pptx without
problems.

Comparing Original-PPT-2010_savedfromlibo361.pptx and
Original-PPT-2010.pptx the main difference seems to be that the original
containsa .png without any compression, while the png in
Original-PPT-2010_savedfromlibo361.pptx is compressed. No idea whether that
difference is part of the problem.

Not a special 3.6.1 problem, I get the same errormessage for a .pptx saved from
LibO 3.4.5. Saved from LibO 3.3.3 can be opened by PPT Viewer, but that's
empty.

I think someone with pptx knowledge will have to check this.

@Florian:
Is the test from c't available? I believe they will contribute a copy for us
for internal use if you ask.

--- Comment #2 from Radek Doulik r...@novell.com 2012-09-12 09:45:01 UTC ---
It might be problem I fixed recently in master. I saved the
Original-PPT-2010.pptx from master LO and it is opening OK in MSO. Attaching
the saved document.

I will try to backport the pptx export fixes to 3-6 branch.

@Markus, Kohei, any idea ? At the moment, my main problem is that I can not
test the bug report because CNUM is missing from the function list on Mac,
which may well be a separate bug and unrelated to this particular users problem
(autofill).

This means in turn that this bug should be marked as a duplicate of bugs 52147
or 54282, which were fixed by the commit cited above.

This fix will appear in LibreOffice 3.6.2 and 3.7.0.

@ jsherk :

It would be very helpful if you could test if you can still reproduce this
crash with the upcoming LibreOffice 3.6.2; in a few days, a first release
candidate will be available at

   http://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/

(In reply to comment #3)
It looks to me this is not just DB2 specific, because as noted in my previous
post what ever I enter into JDBC window dialogs (steps 3 and 4 and press Test
in step 5) LibreOffice crashes. In my humble opinion it has to be some general
crash problem. Can someone else test JDBC connection with some other database
beside DB2? To confirm if this is really DB2 specific.

Can not confirm crash with an existing JDBC connection configured ODB file to a
mysql server instance on Mac OSX with LO daily build Version 3.6.2.0+ (Build
ID: c303961)

If CNUM and CTXT are missing, that would be a special bug in the French
version. The corresponding English functions exist.

Not knowing CNUM and CTXT might be connected with the setting Use English
function names in Tools Options Calc Formula.

In the attached spreadsheet the feature AutoCalculate is disabled, therefor the
formulas do not update when dragging. So please make sure Tool Calculate
AutoCalculate has a check.

The attached spreadsheet will not work, because the numbers in column F have
spaces inside and therefore cannot be transformed to a number.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 54730] LibreOffice Base crashes when Test connection is executed against JDBC connection

2012-09-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54730

--- Comment #6 from Alex Thurgood ipla...@yahoo.co.uk 2012-09-12 10:38:50 UTC
---
(In reply to comment #5)
However, if I try and create a new ODB file that uses the mysql JDBC
 connector,
using the DB creation wizard, then I get an ODB container which does not show
any tables...no error message, no crash, nothing, but certainly no tables. I
don't even get access to the Advanced Properties of the database connection.

 Hmm, fishy that...

Hmm, my Mac OSX version of LO has gone into some sort of limbo, I can see it in
the OSX Dock, but clicking on it does nothing...forced kill coming up !

OK, so restarted my LOdev, and the previously created file asks for my password
to connect to the server, and then shows...nothing, no tables, no access to
Advanced Database connection properties, ho hum :-(

So no crash here, but certainly, a non-operational ODB file.

Since I can open a similar ODB file that I made in a previous version of LO,
that uses the same connection parameters, there is something wrong with the ODB
filed that the wizard creates.

Known problem actually discussed on developers mailing-list:
 http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Selection-of-dictionaries-per-installation-tp4004472.html

After having read the above discussion twice I really can't see any relation to
the problem I documented.

Set to enhancement because installer works as designed.

Hmm... then I would say that the installer is not designed as it should be :-)

Will have to come back to this after I've compared the two ODB files, i.e. the
one that I created in an earlier version and which works, and the one created
in the daily build. This could be a different problem altogether or I suppose
it could also be the reason for the crash on Windows...

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 54809] New: MAILMERGE: Printing address labels is incorrectly calcualted in end layout

2012-09-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54809

 Bug #: 54809
Summary: MAILMERGE: Printing address labels is incorrectly
calcualted in end layout
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 3.5.4 release
  Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Status Whiteboard: BSA
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: hvdw...@gmail.com

Problem description:

I created an address database in LibreOffice Base. I wanted to use these to
print labels containing all the addresses.
In Writer I selected New-labels and selected the format Avery A4, label L7160.
The L7160 label data for the template (sizes, spaces, margins) was correct. I
merged/created the document.
The error is that the horizontal separation distance between the labels is not
calculated in the end result layout.
These L7160 Avery labels are 3x7. Horizontally there is a 0,25 mm separation
between the labels, which is correctly noted in the template.
In the final generated documents these labelinterspacing is not correctly
taken into account which means that the second horizontal label shifts 0,25 mm
to the left and the third horzintal label shifts 0,5mm to the left.

Current behavior:

horizontal label interspacing is not applied in final layout.

Expected behavior:
horizontal label interspacing should work

Platform (if different from the browser):

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101

This problem is there in both LibreOffice as well as Openoffice for the version

printing compatibility.

Can any one suggest how to change this settings as in openoffice 3.2 this
