https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57820 --- Comment #5 from Johan Thelander bugs...@riseup.net --- (In reply to comment #4) Johan: thank you for your feedback. According to the bt, it seems a problem on hunspell part, so: - could you disable hunspell and give it a try? (BTW, could you check the hunspell version? normally, 1.3.2) - could you also try without LibO_3.6.3_MacOS_x86_langpack_sv? Hi Julien! - I played around a bit with the Hunspell and the problem seems to be with the language module: OpenOffice.org New Thesaurus. If I un-tick that module it seems to work. (I think I am running Hunspell 1.3.2, but I can't find where to see the version for sure...) - I tried without LibO_3.6.3_MacOS_x86_langpack_sv, but the same thing happens – if OpenOffice.org New Thesaurus module is on the problem is there. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 57232] TDF Site: Escaped HTML on libreoffice.org front page
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57232 --- Comment #6 from Roman Eisele b...@eikota.de --- @ Christos: Welcome and thank you for your attempt to help! I am actually new here. But I took a glance at it and I downloaded the page to correct it. The a tags were somehow corrupted. I think you need something like the following html code... You are completely right that this would fix the problem for now. But I fear that the issue is more difficult. This part of the LO hompage, “News at TDF Blog”, is generated automatically by some script (or however this may be called ;-) from the contents of http://blog.documentfoundation.org/ IMHO the script, while abbreviating the articles from the blog to short summaries, “damages” some HTML tags and character entities by converting the HTML markup into literal text ... So what is necessary is to fix that script, and I fear this is a bit more difficult. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57908 Priority: medium Bug ID: 57908 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: Margins, header/footer spacing imported incorrectly from .doc Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: l...@deller.id.au Hardware: x86 (IA32) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.0.0.0.alpha0+ Master Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice The bugdoc for fdo#56513 exhibited a secondary import problem. This item is picking that up: To reproduce: 1. Open the .doc sample attached to fdo#56513 2. Observe that the second page header and footer are positioned further from the edge than on other pages: the top/bottom margin and the header/footer spacing have different values on this page than other pages Expected output: the vertical position of headers and footers on all three pages should be the same Explanation: The second page is the start of a second section, whose header and footer are set as Different First Page *and* Link to Previous in Word. When LibreOffice imports this section, it thinks there is no header or footer on this page, because (rSection.maSep.grpfIhdt WW8_HEADER_FIRST) is not set (same for footer) and so imports margins accordingly. It seems that this flag is only set in the .doc file if the section actually includes its own header, as opposed to being linked to the previous section's header. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 44135] Solid shading of objects in Libreoffice Draw with transparency shows up in gray scale in PDF
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44135 jwoithe jwoi...@just42.net changed: What|Removed |Added Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED Resolution|INVALID |--- --- Comment #29 from jwoithe jwoi...@just42.net --- (In reply to comment #28) NOT [Reproducible] with LibreOffice 3.6.4.3 rc German UI/ German Locale [Build-ID: 2ef5aff] {pull date 2012-11-28} on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit). I never saw such an export problem, and all attached PDF look fine for me with ARX. With respect, closing this as invalid is the height of arrogance. I decided to close this Bug because we never will get a fix (because the problem still is absolutely unknown). I completely disagree. During the time since this bug was first reported, a very good picture has been built up regarding the nature of the bug. While the source of the bug is unknown (obviously, since it hasn't been fixed) the basic problem is very much known. Here we have a horrible bunch of documents, nobody can expect what they are for and under what circumstances it might be to reproduce what bug ever. This is absolute rubbish. If you care to read through and follow the comments (of where there aren't all that many) you will find that this horrible bunch of documents is in fact a rather succinct collection which illustrates the bug. Currently it seems that we discuss a PDF viewer bug? No. There is clearly a problem with the PDF output from Libreoffice which causes some PDF rasterisers to output an incorrect image. If you care to glance at comments 7, 13, 15, 17 and 20 you will see that there's a 50/50 split between PDF rasterisers which work and those which don't. To save you the hassle: xpdf, CUPS, Okular, STDUViewer and google docs get it wrong. Adobe reader, Evince and Foxit get it right. According to yourself, ARX (whatever that is) can be added to the gets it right camp. I see that the bug still exists for you, so please report a new bug. What we need is an idiot proof description how to reproduce the problem. I fail to see why we need to open a new report for this. You already have your idiot proof description of how to reproduce the problem: see comment 17. - Write a meaningful Summary describing exactly what the problem is That has been done. The initial description does a pretty good job. Comment 17 also describes it in a fair amount of detail. What more do you want? - Attach a test kit with sample document (not only screenshot(or refer to an existing sample document in an other Bug with a link), PDF Export result. You've got that: attached as part of comment 20. For all attachment write useufl reports! Not simply colors lost in PDF export, but This document created from source.odg with PDF export settings xxx, yyy, zzz opene with PDFViewer.exe version aaa in xxx mode with yyy setting and show ., see screenshot.ong in this testkit.zip In combination with the comments provided when attached, I don't see that any further descriptions are necessary beyond that which has been provided. - Attach screenshots with comments showing how your source looks, how your result looks. Best way is to insert your screenshots into a DRAW document and to add comments that explain what you want to show (attachment 68877 [details], attachment 68490 [details]). What part of the colour renders as greyscale is unclear? - Contribute a document related step by step instruction containing every key press and every mouse click how to reproduce your problem This was pretty much done in as much detail as necessary in comment 20. – if possible contribute an instruction how to create a sample document from the scratch Comment 20 again. - add information with what PDF settings you exported, ... It was already reported that they were the defaults. -- concerning your PC (video card, ...) It's got nothing to do with the video card. It's been clearly demonstrated that non-video rasterisers are affected. -- concerning your OS (Version, Distribution, Language) This was clearly stated too: in my case it was Linux, Slackware distribution version 13.37. Other reporters have included this information too. -- concerning your LibO version ... This has already been done where relevant. In short, I am astounded that this ticket can be closed as invalid. I have already spent a considerable amount of time testing various versions to confirm the presence of this bug (as have others). I have documented the steps to reproduce the problem, I have provided an ODT file which, when exported to PDF, illustrates the problem (attachment 63837). I have provided the PDF as exported so others can test it in their own PDF viewers (63838). Honestly, what more can we possibly do? Everything that you asked for which is

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57806 --- Comment #7 from Michael Meeks michael.me...@novell.com --- Interesting; I suspect the file-selector is exercising bits of the ucp / gnome-vfs backend that other uses (load+save) don't reach. Then again - have you tried passing an ssh:// URL on the command-line and seeing if you can load-save without problems ? [ I guess gnome-vfs is itself a bit old and creaking by now ;-]. Finally - to catch this we really need to do: 'catch throw' in gdb to find where the exception is thrown from - if you can break in gdb at the point you insert your new 'try' and instead do: catch throw or 'b __cxa_throw' if that fails and get a trace from where the exception is thrown - that is prolly more useful. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 57916] New: [21] Document master ignores chapter numbers of sub documents
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57916 Priority: medium Bug ID: 57916 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: [21] Document master ignores chapter numbers of sub documents Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: c.kai...@voipwerk.de Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 3.6.3.2 release Component: Writer Product: LibreOffice When I create an new master document (ODM) out of a normal template (OTT) with LibreOffice 3.6.3.2 (same issue with 3.6.2.2), I have the following problem with this master. I create sub documents with chapter numbers and merge them into the master document. In the master document the numbering gets lost. This behaviour occurs only with newly generated masters. Masters, which are created in older versions of LibreOffice or the current version of OpenOffice, keep the numbering when I use LibreOffice 3.6.3.2 to merge sub documents into them. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 40266] hyphenation w/o inquiry not taking into account configured options
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40266 oldde...@trash-mail.com changed: What|Removed |Added OS|Linux (All) |All Version|3.3.4 release |3.6.4.3 rc --- Comment #4 from oldde...@trash-mail.com --- Confirmed for v3.6.4.3 under Win7 x64. More easy way to reproduce: * Set your settings as follows: – Chars before hyphen: 4 – Chars after hyphen: 4 – Min hyphen word length: 7 * Now open a large document (I am using a German one, but that should not make any difference) * Use Tools Language Hyphenation and let it auto-hyphenate the entire document. * There will be a lot of places where words are separated ignoring the chars before and chars after settings. Note that when manually going threw all hyphens using Tools Language Hyphenation, the bug does not occur. (e.g. It does show the words it would otherwise hyphenate disregarding the settings but it does not show where they could be theoretically hyphenated.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #2 from Rainer Bielefeld libreoff...@bielefeldundbuss.de --- [Reproducible] with LibreOffice 3.6.4.3 rc German UI/ German Locale [Build-ID: 2ef5aff] {pull date 2012-11-28} on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) I created an improved sample document from reporter's with a copy macro and copy button to ease testing Steps how to reproduce: 0. Open Sample document from LibO start Center with enabled macros, make sure that the sheet janv is selected. 1. Click red Copy button in the sheet After 1 second an additional sheet will appear 2. 'right click this new sheet - Delete sheet - ak' It sill take a second or so to delete the sheet. 3. Now repeat step 1 10 times or so (always wait until new sheet has appeared). You will observe that every new copy will take some seconds longer than the copy process before !!! 4. Now delete one of the new sheets: it will take several seconds instead of 1 second. !!! Now do the same test, but with LibO 3.4.5, and in step 3 each new copa will take the same tame as the copy before. And also deletion with 10 sheets will only take 1 second, the same as with only 2 sheets in the document. @andis.lazd...@gmail.com: That's a very special document, can you reproduce that behavior also with a new document only containint 1000 A in 1000 cells?
