https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59398 --- Comment #1 from thomi_ch i...@win-soft.ch --- Hey I found one issue: locked files, that are still in the folder of the file, removed those but I think it relates to libreoffice-kde. I have tested this: Tools/Options LibreOffice/General: Use LibreOffice dialogs for Open/Save and print 1. create new odt file, save it as Untitled 1.odt 2. close LibreOffice 3. open above file Untitled 1.odt 4. export to PDF, filename as proposed with automatic file name extension Do step 1 to 4 two, three times... Next, change dialog options in Tools/Options to not using LibreOffice dialogs, so it uses on my system KDE dialogs. On Step 1 (create and save) LibreOffice writer crashes and this file remains on the destination file i wanted to save the new file: .~lock.Untitled 1.odt# On next LibreOffice writer start, it asked me to recover Untitled 1... Then i tried again to save it... see first attachment LibreOffice error message. I think this cases the remaining lock file... If i remove the lock file writer crashes and i need to recover it again... While trying save it again.. it starts over - crash - remaining lock file - recover... I think it's not only related to PDF export, it also related for saving a new file... Will change also the title here.. hope some other can confirm above steps... [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 34390] Add to 'Find Replace' capability to find frame, page, list, and character styles
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34390 --- Comment #22 from y3kcjd5 hastra...@gmail.com --- (In reply to comment #19) Additionally this report is more or less Invalid, far away from our guidelines (1 problem per report, ...) We will not get any progress by rising importance of all bugs 1 level. But we can get progress if we find ways how to solve possible problems. Step1: We need a task Bug for tracking all enhance find and replace capabilities (may be we should do that with this one) and separate bug reports for each single problem. So may be we can make them Easyhacks, what will ease the task to find a developer very much. Functionally, I'd think that the issue(s) in this bug are essentially the same problem, or at least they should be solvable in pretty much the same way. I haven't looked at code myself, but from what I've gathered reading, the different style types seem to be defined and managed in very similar ways (sounded resemblant of CSS in HTML). That suggests to me that much of the code for this enhancement can be derived from the already present paragraph styles search capability. It would therefore appear to me that adding function for several (frame, list, character etc.) style types would take roughly the same effort as adding just one, making the addition of several style types essentially one single problem. If, however, there is some reason these can only be added one at a time, judging by popular vote, character styles take priority. Creating a task bug may be a good idea, but I would avoid using this one; the contents here are all closely related, whereas some of the other find replace enhancement requests (e.g. bug 58744) would probably require work in very different parts of the code. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I don't know what folder is talking about... The error message show up during the Coping new files... phase of the installer and the options you have are: retry and cancel. If i press retry, i get a new alert that shows: internal error 2350. The only thing i can do is press ok and the installar start falling back its operation, then ends. The same error happens if i upgrade from 3.6.4 and with a fresh installation. My PC is Windows 2000 Pro SP4, FAT32 formatted and from the control panel i see two MS Visual C++ 2008 redistributable package installed: version 9.0.30729.17 and 9.0.30729.4148. I've not tested comment #2 proposal to reset the user profile folder: i don't get why the profile should be involved during the setup phase?? If you really think it's worth doing, i'll try that: it takes a long time to uninstall LO 3.6.4, reinstall 4.0 and go back to 3.6.4 in this old PC...
