[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 57916] [21] Document master ignores chapter numbers of sub documents
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57916 --- Comment #1 from Owen Genat owen.ge...@gmail.com --- You are probably going to have to provide a working example that can be used to illustrate the problem. To be clear, are the ODTs also based on the same OTT? Also, how are the chapter numbers set: a) Outline Numbering; b) linking the Heading N style with a Numbering N style; c) defining numbering for a heading (via toolbar)? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58177 --- Comment #18 from James spa...@gmx.net --- Tor, thanks for re-opening and sorry for the noise. I'm still rather confused what to make of this bug. Comment 10 suggests to wait for the Duden folks to fix this. They have neither showed up here nor updated the extension in such a manner that it works. Comment 15 now says that part of this might be a LO bug in a manner so that broken extensions should not be loaded at all. I agree but don't have the technical expertise to investigate. Yet, if that's the case, maybe we should adjust the title, which should then say Prevent LO from loading broken extensions. Marcus: no one said the bug was fixed. Ultimately, this is all a work-around for some horrible legacy metacity bug (IIRC). Anyhow - that is as it may be, but what would -really- help would be if you could install debuginfo symbols for your system's gtk2 - then we could see exactly what is going wrong inside that gdk function call :-) I'm still suspicious that (since we realize all our windows at construction time) there should be a valid / non-NULL GdkWindow around there but ... Any chance of a new master trace just with the gdk symbols installed. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 60845] changed directory structure in LO 4 blocks Bibus reference manager
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60845 --- Comment #11 from brendel bren...@nancy.inra.fr --- Dear Steve, its not a problem of the uni connection itself, I had chacked the uno connection using the UnoConnectionListener.odg and this works quite fine. As I have described before, Bibus is looking for something in the basis directory, which has now disappeared. However I don't know for what Bibus was looking in the Basis directory that it needs for the connection between LibreOffice and Bibus. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 62653] EDITING: Copy Paste Crash
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62653 --- Comment #2 from Walter stridero...@gmail.com --- Hi Jorendc, Yes it is still being reproduced under 4.0.2.2, though it is more stable. The difficulty is that it cannot be reproduced by some file. It is not some command that is crashing the application. It seems more vulnerable when tables and nested tables are involved but in these years using LibreOffice I never managed to find a pattern. The same Copy-Paste operation works after reloading LibreOffice. What I suspect is that something gets mixed up in the Clipboard. It might be an issue specific to Windows. Is there some crash error report which I could send to you. I have been uninstalling and reinstalling versions of OpenOffice/LibreOffice quite some time. My settings are kept throughout the changes, like the default template, dictionaries and plugins. This is a good thing in itself but could this cause a problem for this bug? I guess it should not but i thought I'd ask. I have managed to reproduce a similar crash which might be connected with these two files: 1. open both 2. Goto p 70 of Diritto Romano_2013-2013_2lati.odt 3. Copy a table with some text before and after it 3. Goto p. 1 of Schemi di Diritto Romano 4. Paste the contents 5. Go into one of the columns of the pasted table 6. Paste the contents again 7. Put the cursor out of the table and select all the text 8. Press Backspace This procedure reproduces the crash everytime on my computer (Windows 7, x64, LibreOffice 4.0.2.2) Hope this helps Walter -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60845 --- Comment #12 from brendel bren...@nancy.inra.fr --- It has probably something to do how Bibus finds Libreoffice as when I'm runnin the first connection wizard, on the first page Bibus offers a liste to choose ones preferred wordprocessor; I get only greyed out options (not surprising for MSWord and LyX, as I don't have these installed) and the only choice is None. This would suggest that during the start of this wizard Bibus is checking the system for the different word processors, and is not finding LibreOffice. Even though the path in both bibus.cfg and BibusOoo.cfg was changed to the new LibreOffice installation : oopath=C:\Program Files (x86)\LibreOffice 4.0\program ooure=C:\Program Files (x86)\LibreOffice 4.0\URE\bin oobasis=C:\Program Files (x86)\LibreOffice 4.0\share when setting oobasis to oobasis=C:\Program Files (x86)\LibreOffice 4.0\program Bibus won't start at all with the last normally working version LO 3.5, this has been : oopath=C:\Program Files (x86)\LibreOffice 3.5\program ooure=C:\Program Files (x86)\LibreOffice 3.5\URE\bin oobasis=C:\Program Files (x86)\LibreOffice 3.5\Basis\program from then on (that is wiht LO 3.6) I had to set oobasis to oobasis=C:\Program Files (x86)\LibreOffice 3.6\share to get things working. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 60845] changed directory structure in LO 4 blocks Bibus reference manager
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60845 --- Comment #13 from Stephan Bergmann sberg...@redhat.com --- (In reply to comment #12) Basis was a concept from OOo being split into three layers, URE, basis, and brand, that has long since been removed from LO, at least since LO 3.5. There should be no need for an application to have any deep knowledge about the layout of a LO installation though. All it should need to know is the path to the program directory containing the soffice and unoinfo executables. That Bibus, which apparently expects LO to still use that basis concept (oobasis), happened to work when pointing oobasis to the share directory sounds like mere luck. Looks like some Bibus developer should look into how that application interacts with a LO installation, and get that cleaned up (where help can generally be found at the resources listed at the top of https://www.libreoffice.org/developers-2/). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 56583] Impress crashes when presentation starts (dual-head, no Xinerama)
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56583 --- Comment #37 from Johan Vromans jvrom...@squirrel.nl --- Thanks for the patch. It does, indeed, fix the crash. The resultant LO (4.1.0.0 beta1) is unfortunately not usable, since there are many other things that go wrong. Fonts come out wrong, images are garbled, and the external display (where the presention is shown) stays empty. I'm reasonably sure this is not related to the problem at hand.
