[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 69416] XProofreader: footnote no special character anymore
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69416 Kumāra kumara.bhik...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC||kumara.bhik...@gmail.com, ||mst...@redhat.com Version|4.1.1.2 release |3.6.5.2 release Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #2 from Kumāra kumara.bhik...@gmail.com --- (In reply to comment #1) I wanted to say that the problem occurs starting from about 3.6.5.2, not only in that version. The issue remains at 4.1.1.2. Essentially, it used to be that LanguageTool can tell the end of a sentence correctly all the time. After the change though, when there's a footnote after a sentence, LT can only see the last word, the full-stop and the footnote number as ONE word, e.g. important.12 This messes up the ability of LT to count the number of words in a sentence correctly, because the counting would run to the next sentence. I've changed the version to the first version this issue is noted (3.6.5.2). The change in LibO should have happened sometime between 3.5.7.2 and 3.6.5.2. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 69305] TABLE: Table formatting
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69305 Mike Kaganski mikekagan...@hotmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added Hardware|Other |All OS|Windows (All) |All Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDINFO Severity|normal |enhancement Priority|medium |lowest Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #3 from Mike Kaganski mikekagan...@hotmail.com --- Well, I understand your point. I find the table borders interface, that is present in LO now, very inefficient and counter-intuitive, too. It takes quite an effort to understand how it is to be used. The toolbar isn't needless, though; it is just too simple. Its logic is to create very basic borderings. I would be very glad, for instance, to see a kind of border paintbrush tool, that could be activated, then its parameters adjusted (like color, width and style), and then applied to specific borders that I click... But anyway, your issue is an enhancement request, and not very clear one. Please be more specific regarding how do you see a better mode of operation: i.e., describe a specific actions that should produce different results, or propose some new commands that would do what you want. Without this, the request sounds like I don't like the current way; make it better! If the proposition is attractive enough, the chances are higher that some developer will pick it and implement in a future version. By the way, maybe the new sidebar (an experimental feature in LO 4.1) manages it better? (I haven't checked myself.) https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69460 Priority: medium Bug ID: 69460 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: FILESAVE: save csv and exit causes lock up of OSX Severity: major Classification: Unclassified OS: Mac OS X (All) Reporter: mercergeoi...@gmail.com Hardware: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: unspecified Component: Spreadsheet Product: LibreOffice This bug actually applies to OpenOffice, NeoOffice and LibreOffice. When working with csv files in Calc, saving and exiting causes the program to hang but worse than this, it causes OSX to to slow to a halt. I cant access Force Quit by any method, using KILL in the terminal wont work because accessing Terminal, even if running already becomes incredibly slow. The only option is to power off or wait a long, long time. It only happens if I save and exit in quick succession, without interacting with the program in any way been these actions, i.e. by using cmd-Q directly after saving. This issue has been around for some time and isn't specific to 10.7 (my OS). Mostly I can avoid it, by clicking somewhere in LibreOffice, but occasionally I forgot and am suddenly dropped into a very slow process of restarting my work flow.
