The correct experession of one hundred in Chinese should be 「一百」, but the one in one hundred is missing and the display become 「百」. Further more, the zero between hundreds and ones are missing too. The correct expression of one hundred and one is 「一百零一」, but now it became 「百一」 which literally means one hundred and ten and quite confusing. I have recently written a java program which can convert integer number to number in Chinese, and it is now in http://paste.ubuntu.com/7313644 . I know that this program has terrible structure and efficiency so it is just for referencing. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 77089] WMF rendering: characters are too wide
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77089 --- Comment #2 from Tomaz Vajngerl qui...@gmail.com --- After investigation I found out that MS Office (and MS Paint) renders this image the same as LO (at least concerning the fonts). To show this you have to take the WMF image directly from the PPTX file by unzipping the document. The reason that the original PPTX file (when opened in PowerPoint) shows the correctly rendered chart is that the PPTX contains a oleObject1.bin (in ppt/embeddings folder inside the document) which I suspect is the original chart data, and uses that for rendering. Funny, if you export the chart in PowerPoint as a WMF image and use that in LO, then the chart is rendered (almost) perfectly also in LO. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 77811] New: EDITING: Draw - Duplicate is overly complex and an off-center pivot point is missing
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77811 Priority: medium Bug ID: 77811 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: EDITING: Draw - Duplicate is overly complex and an off-center pivot point is missing Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: mesen...@t-online.de Hardware: Other Whiteboard: BSA Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 4.2.2.1 release Component: Drawing Product: LibreOffice Created attachment 97820 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=97820action=edit Example SRM_16-12.odg as a typical use case Problem description: The current Duplication function is already very useful, but it is overly complex for casual use. Most importantly also a pivot point for polar duplication is missing, which would make the function much more useful for rotational symmetric drawings, such as clock scales, tooth wheels or electric motors. See the attached motor.odg as a typical example for such a use case. As an another example for the typical use of the function see the grid of the drawing, which was made with the duplication function as is. Currently objects can only be rotated around a center point, which requires rotational symmetric parts to be drawn on both sides of the center and the ends then may not hit well. Such standard use case can then currently only be solved with quite complicated drawing technics. It also does not take fractional angles. Suggestions: Fractional angles: Angles are currently rounded to integer numbers. This prevents the drawing of precise polar segments, where often fractions of a degree are necessary for symmetry. In example a circular division into 48 segments requires 7.5deg. increments. The precision should be changed to at least 2 fractional digits; with 2 digits most common divisions (half and quarter degree) are possible. Separate Panes for common operations, simplification: For simple and efficient use the Duplication Function should be split up onto several panes for the most typical common use cases with the following properties only: Horizontal Duplication: - Number of copies - x-Offset Vertical Duplication: - Number of copies - x-Offset Polar Duplication: - Number of copies - Pivot Point (current Placement may be used instead) - Xaxis - Yaxis - Angle (fractional angles should be allowed) Alternative better angle settings: Specify only the number of copies and a total integer angle, then divide this total angle by the number of copies. (i.e. 360 deg. for full circles, then rounding errors for broken angle numbers can be eliminated or greatly reduced, this also eliminates the need for calculation of the individual angle fraction) Complex or elliptic Duplication: - same as is, just on an extra pane, to not break anything. Further possible enhancements: All of the above and: - Tick Box for 'Live Mode' - Probably another Tick box for mirror mode (only for Horizontal and Vertical Duplication, then these would also need an x- or y-mirror axis coordinate) - Very Fancy: Have a Numbering Function for making scales etc. (would need a Starting Value and an Increment, probably a small csv-list for characters etc.) The addition of the suggested Live Mode would allow to draw everything duplicated, as long as the Duplication Live Mode is selected. This would greatly ease the drawing of simple symmetric drawings such as grids, clock scales or the attached motor example. The above Duplication function may become a 'killer' feature for LibO-Draw and it should be implementable as suggested with very little efford; using the current function as base. Attachment: SRM_16-12.odg as a typical use case (Motor only as png, the Grid was done with 'Duplicate') Operating System: All Version: 4.2.2.1 release -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=76851 --- Comment #7 from Flaggmann tr0p0scat...@hotmail.com --- (In reply to comment #6) Libre Office Base There was a large update this evening ( Apr 22/14 Linux Mint16 Petra) and now ‘Create Reports in Design View’ does nothing and the wizard method goes through the motions then hangs up and LO Base crashes when one tries to exit create report gracefully. Running existing reports hangs and it will also crash LO Base if one tries to exit gracefully. It does not exit Report functions, design or run, gracefully at all. It crashes badly and requires going through recovery process when trying to re-launch LO Base. Haven’t tried writer or calc to see if they are affected also. FYI and attention if anyone cares. It was working fine, then updated and restarted PC and now lots of trbls. Because of PC restart after update all the scrollback buffer data of the changes made was lost. I noticed libre office updates ( I believe they were lib files but not sure as srcolled by fast) in the terminal window and then restarting the PC per the update instructions I lost the scrollback buffer data to maybe be able to paste in here. Updates were many and appeared to be various linux and LO updates. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69313 --- Comment #7 from Cor Nouws c...@nouenoff.nl --- Hi fidel, Sorry for not responding earlier! (just tooo busy) Lucky that I'm triggered by your 'ping (without my name...) I created now document and saved and reopend. In 4.2.3.3 and 4.0.6.2 on Linux. In both cases, I see only one date field. So I cannot reproduce your problem, so cannot shine any light on this. Sorry. I'll post to QA to see if some others can test. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 77811] EDITING: Draw - Duplicate is overly complex and an off-center pivot point is missing
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77811 --- Comment #2 from Gerhard Mesenich mesen...@t-online.de --- (In reply to comment #1) It's more then _one_ issue however. May I suggest to split into two: one for the off-center pivot point and one for splitting simple complex functionality? Hi cor, Thanks for your quick response. I just made 2 separate reports about the pivot and the integer issue: Bug 77815 - Draw - Duplicate Function - Off-center pivot point is missing Bug 77816 - Draw - Duplicate Function - Does not take fractional angles I did not find how to edit my original report above. I think it can be left as is, the separate issues can now be easily found. I do not know how to edit the above report. Is that possible, and how is it done?
