Now Draw uses the paper size (specified in page formatting). Impress still uses the old method - not sure if this is correct but printing handouts etc probably complicate print/paper size. That commit fixed Bug 63905 - FORMATTING: Page format in draw is not sent to the printer. (In Draw, there is a feature to Distribute on multiple sheets of paper when printing. But the fix to bug 63905 makes this useful feature broken). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

It may well be that a third application/process (with Outlook and LibreOffice being the 2 others) has a role in it. And as the problem is a delay when mving the caret in an Outlook message, I see no way to use windebug to catch something in LibreOffice. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 85793] Multiple links in a single cell work only with left text alignment
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=85793 --- Comment #2 from Calabar cala...@tiscalinet.it --- Thanks Terry. I want to add two things (I thought I wrote that, but apparently I did not): - When I change the alignment, the operation is not destructive, and the original target of the link is preserved. If I change the alignment to left, the original links return to work properly again. - If I access the cell containing the multiple links in edit mode, the links seems to work properly even if the alignment is not left. But only in edit mode. PS: as Calc has an edit mode for the cells, would it be better to access a link with a simple click instead than with CTRL+Click? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 38082] Add separate bounding box on/off control in export to EPS, PDF and similar formats
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38082 Milos Sramek msrame...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #10 from Milos Sramek msrame...@gmail.com --- (In reply to Joel Madero from comment #9) Never confirmed by QA team - moving to UNCONFIRMED. Hi, Unfortunately, this bug was originally filed in a bad way - it addressed two separate (but related) problems. Thus I suggest to limit its scope to just the issue of separate controls (which is more like feature request) and to handle the missing bounding box in bug 55317. I find bug 55317 to be much more important. New formulation of the problem: LO Draw can currently export EPS files with a tight bounding box. This feature is, however, coupled with the Selection control. Bounding Box and Selection are, however, two different features. So I propose to add a new independent check box Bounding Box in the EPS export dialog. Consequences of this status are: 1. One can export a full page (say, A4) with all content 2. One can export selected objects with a tight bounding box 3. One CANNOT export a full page with only selected objects Separation of the controls for selection and bounding box would allow for the 3-rd option too. If possible, I suggest to implement this also for pdf export and eventually other formats which have the bounding box feature. How to check the current functionality (tested with LO4.4 alpha): 1. Export of everything, full page a. open Draw and draw two objects: a circle and a star b. choose File Export, select Eps and press Save. c. Open the eps file in a viewer: you can see a full (A4) page with two objects on it 2. Export of a selected object with a tight bounding box a. open Draw and draw two objects: a circle and a star b. Select the star object c. Choose File Export, select Eps, check the Selection field down left and press Save. d. Open the eps file in a viewer: you can see just the object with no extra space around it There is no possibility how to achieve option 3. This has 2 problems, especially with large documents: * The entire document has to be rendered on startup, which eats terrible amount of time * The bitmap has so bad resolution, that it looks confusing, and is mostly unusable. Instead of one large bitmap, we need several layers that contain tiles of lower and lower resolution. Layer 1: The tiles at 1:1 zoom Layer 2: Tiles at 1:4 Layer 3: Tiles at 1:16 Layer 4: Tiles at 1:64 Layer 5: Tiles at 1:256 ... Layer X: Just 1 tile at 1:4^(X-1) This is not a huge amount of tiles - we are not supposed to keep all of them, we can throw away the ones on X-1 layers variously, as in bug 85846. On startup, the layers should be filled in this way: * First Layer 1 - the tiles that intersect the visible area (so that the user gets the view as the first thing). * Then the some higher layer, like Layer 3, again only the tiles that intersect the visible area + one tile before + one tile after (so that the scrolling immediately gives ~something) * Then (when idle) the higher layers, up to Layer X - so that there is always something to render, without having to fetch it first On scroll, always present the highest quality - can happen to be a combination of various layers, combining the worse and better quality; but fetch the best ones accordingly. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=85587 Alex Thurgood ipla...@yahoo.co.uk changed: What|Removed |Added Priority|medium |lowest Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC||ipla...@yahoo.co.uk Ever confirmed|0 |1 Severity|major |enhancement --- Comment #2 from Alex Thurgood ipla...@yahoo.co.uk --- I would not consider this to be a bug either, it works as designed. Changing table or query definitions saves data in a different part of the database container file, which then has to be saved globally for the odb container. I also agree that this could be a request for enhancement, setting as such. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
