[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 87790] Unexpected values in evaluating R2 using regr.lin (linear fit)
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87790 --- Comment #4 from mencaraglia f.mencarag...@gmail.com --- Created attachment 111516 -- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=111516action=edit short sample of spradsheet I am resending the spradsheet as a short version: Data are in col A and B; same data (but for a constant shift in y) are in col F and G. Input of these data is TEP 1 Below each series (A B ; F G) the linear best fit using A = a B + b (col A B) or F = a' G ( col F G); choice on how to fit from the third parameter of regr.lin regr.lin(A;B; 1 ; 1) regr.lin(F;G; 0 ; 1) Evaluation of regr-lin is STEP 2 As a check for col A B also evaluation using slope(A;B) intercept(A;B) correlation(A;B) RQ(A:B) have been made These checks are STEP 3 I have shown corresponding results using background color Now, passing to col F and G the result from regr.lin(...) are ok for the slope (not shown here the check); correlation(F;G) and RQ(F:G) correspond with what evaluated in A B (as expected, these values are invariant) What I do not understand is the term on cell F56 (cell background in red)which - as far as I understand should be a correlation - but is neither correlation() nor RQ() and - as I to before is not equal to the value suggesteb by excel. To be sure that what I find is clear I have also copied the results with 'paste special - only numbers - in the area with gray background. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

One missing step that I took was to right-click - anchor the new images to cell. In both the .ods and .xls that I saved, the youtube and google images I inserted had moved up so their center line is in the middle of the lower border of the upper row. In the .xls, the two images below the google image stayed put, but in the .ods they moved slightly upwards. This also happened to me only in the .ods file: The two images in A142 - 144 are stretched in a different way (squished vertically). https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87303 --- Comment #5 from sebriese stevebri...@gmail.com --- The Writer message: This document contains one or more links to external data. Would you like to change the document, and update all links to get the most recent data? Yes No applies to updating Sections, NOT the spreadsheet. The answer, therefore, should not affect the imbedded spreadsheet (let alone break it). This takes it out of the feature list and into the bug domain. It is not uncommon to modify the spreadsheet without wanting the sections updated. In my case it essential. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86674 --- Comment #6 from Niklas Johansson sleeping.pil...@gmail.com --- Thank you Joanmarie for the clarification. When trying the listener again I see that I get a STATE_INVALID every time I enter a paragraph, in other words whenever I move from one paragraph to another or from a menu/dialog to the text area. Moving inside a paragraph seems fine though. And I did not see many STATE_INVALID issues inside the dialogs I tested, except one which seems to be the default button of the dialog (need to verify this later though). See comment #5. :) When you move within a paragraph, you don't get focus-change events for the paragraph which remains focused. ;) When you change paragraphs, you do see the focus-change events. Having said that, if you created a listener which also listened for caret-moved events, you might discover things are not fine when you move inside a paragraph. Give the attached a try.
