[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 83546] SIDEBAR: content panels in tray don't open with accelerators when sidebar is enabled but fully hidden
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=83546 --- Comment #8 from Renato Ferreira --- Hi, I've been trying to work on this bug, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what to do in the method pointed out by Samuel. Does SfwWorkWindow represent the sidebar as a whole, and then the nId parameter received by SfxWorkWindow::ShowChildWindow_Impl refers to the child gallery? Or did I get this wrong? I concluded this since the member pParent is NULL when the method is called to show the gallery, but I don't know if this reasoning is correct. I tried calling methods such as MakeVisible_Impl and GetWindow()->Show(true, 0), but those didn't help. I tried to track the sidebar visibility change using the debugger and found calls to SfxSplitWindow::FadeIn, but I can't find the connection between that and the method I'm working on. Could somebody point me in the right direction here, maybe by explaining what the classes stand for? I explored SfxWorkWindow, SfxDockingWindow, SfxChildWindow and vcl::Window, but I'm still clueless as to what controls the visibility of the sidebar itself. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68975 Sean Carlos changed: What|Removed |Added CC||sean.car...@gmail.com --- Comment #4 from Sean Carlos --- In 4.4.0.1 I also see this slide formatting issue: a "Corner Radius" (under Position and Size) can be specified to round the title frame but this setting is only applied to the master slide, it isn't inherited by slides using the master. Additionally the "Fit Width to text" option appears to be very buggy. It doesn't seem to work at all if specified by editing the title frame style (right click on Title frame, choose Edit style at bottom of list). It sometimes is inherited from the master by the first slide if applied by editing the Text attributes of the Title frame, but doesn't work for successive new slides. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 67870] Writer doesn't remember non numeric zoom factors in .doc files
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67870 --- Comment #23 from Justin L --- Created attachment 111623 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=111623&action=edit zip of many doc files with various zoom levels. Tested Word 2003 and 2013. Both save zoom info when exporting to .doc files, using zoom percent calculated for all types (text width, page width, whole page, many pages.) Default page size zoom of 100% is also saved. So, initializing the zoom to 100 for all .docs is compatible with MS Office. Word 2013 does NOT honor the zoom type OR zoom factor when opening .doc files. It opens all .doc files in 100% zoom. I was wrong when I said that .doc does not have a spot to save the zoom type. Testing shows that word 2003 can properly restore text width and page width settings from documents authored on 2013. sal_uInt16 zkSaved : 2;// document zoom type: 0 percent, 1 whole/entire page, 2 page width, 3 text width/optimal -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86675 --- Comment #16 from Jan Holesovsky --- Tomaž: Let me dump some thoughts here... The cause is the code at http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/tree/vcl/source/outdev/bitmap.cxx#n672 This started being used a lot after one of the Armin's/drawinglayer commits. I tried to work that around by http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=3cf3700b7a903e88f5296076c40ae854bce91cdc , but that's not the correct fix here, and I'd avoid reverting http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=ee36fc7add892690c95a969530ecdcfc1bc9decc Luckily the situation should be better at least on Windows now after http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=d87b163f8dc787d3bbb17d4a0008ef60c61fe6b0 and follow-up commits in this area, because now we use the native scaling and alpha rendering much more; but I guess on Linux it is still bad :-( So if you can make the code around bitmap.cxx:672 using some better scaling algorithm while it still remains fast (enough), that would be awesome :-) The ultimate solution would be that the drawinglayer would cache the scaled images, and consequently we wouldn't have to do any scaling here at all, but that's a big change...
