[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92245] Extensions installed for All Users are lost when upgrading to 5.0

2015-07-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92245

(In reply to Stephan Bergmann from comment #6)
I guess the default LO installation path on Windows contains the major LO
version number (4 vs. 5), but not the minor/micro?

Yes, thankfully bug #62303 was partially solved
(https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62303#c7)

If enhancement request
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62303 was accepted then
this issue would also be solved for the future (in fact this is the expected
installation procedure under Windows).

Anybody remember how we handled that from LO 3 to 4? Like Cor, I tend to
remember that we never migrated shared extensions across different
installation paths, but may be wrong.

You are correct. The problem was not solved and assumed it would be on the next
major update.
http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Install-path-for-LibreOffice-under-Windows-td4041530.html#a4043609

One option might be to copy or move during installation any existing shared
extension data from the old to the new installation, but that would need
checking that there are no absolute paths stored in that data.

Or simply update the install path to \LibreOffice\, warn users that extensions
installed for all users will be lost and should be installed again and
hopefully this would be the last time this problem occurs...

When i open V 4.4.3.2 the first time there is the strange effect that the icons
are inverse/black.
When i open a document and close it the icons are shown normal.

So something is not fine here in the actual Debian stable also.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92566] New: restore tool bars to standard (original) position

2015-07-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92566

Bug ID: 92566
Summary: restore tool bars to standard (original) position
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: dr.newdell2...@gmail.com

Hello,7/6/15dr.newdell2...@gmail.com

Somehow accidentally I moved (undocked/redocked) the lower toolbar [text
object bar?] (with Bold and underline etc in it) to the left side of the
screen. I can't find a way to move it back. Even deleting the program and
reinstalling didn't work!

I hope in future you can have in VIEW menu a check mark to Restore To Original
Position and lock these bars in place.

I did finally (just now) discover that clicking on Text Objects put a copy of
the bar back on top, but now I have it also down the left side and can't get
rid of it. Someone wrote about a grabber (5 stacked lines) but I don't see that
either.

Please advise and tell me how to LOCK these in place too.

Advanced Thank You,
StepheN

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 91950] Crash on saving document

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91950

--- Comment #4 from Gellért Gyuris gellert.gyu...@gmail.com ---
I can reduce the problem. When I switch background to None only in this two
frame style, I can save the document:
- Ikonkeret nagy résztvevői
- Ikonkeret szövegközi résztvevői

These styles are nested styles. Compared to another nested styles the
difference is that they are empty styles. I could create a working version:

This is the old, wrong definition:
style:style style:name=Ikonkeret_20_szövegközi_20_résztvevői

xlink:actuate=onLoad style:repeat=stretch draw:opacity=100%/

This is the modified style, witch is correct. I can save document:

 Exporting OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92570] New: VIEWING

2015-07-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon

Bug ID: 92570
   Summary: VIEWING
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 4.0.4.2 release
  Hardware: Other
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: jpedwardsp...@yahoo.co.uk

This is not a bug but an enhancement request. This is where the File an
enhancement request link brought me.

I think it would be a good idea to be able to create various views on a
spreadsheet in the same way it is possible to create different views on a
database table.

After going to considerable effort hiding/showing columns in a large
spreadsheet it would be good to be able to save that as a view and allow the
user to give that view a meaningful view name.

That way, a user could rapidly load frequently used views of the same sheet
which would be very convenient.

Regards,
JP.

Yes - getting the crash currently is expected (see the comment in

the crash and not showing the presenter console are different buts - although
not showing the console did hide the crash. Julien's fix addresses the crasher.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92571] New: Error mime type in Manifest.xml with picture.wmf and picture.emf

2015-07-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92571

Bug ID: 92571
Summary: Error mime type in Manifest.xml with picture.wmf and
picture.emf
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: LibreOffice
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: josecarlos.ruizlu...@cib.de

Created attachment 117076
  -- https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=117076action=edit
Media-type is an empty string with pictures.wrf ot pictures.emf

When a picture with extension wmf or emf is inserted in a document
(insert-image), and the document is stored in ODF (for example in writer or
Microsoft word), in the file META-INF/manifest.xml the mime type of this
picture (manifest:media-type) is an empty string. The manifest:media-type
should be image/x-emf

I've checked this error in the following applications:
  - writer 5.1, 4.2 under windows 7 and ubuntu 14.04 64bits
  - Microsoft word 2013, 2010 under windows 7 64 bits
  - Calc 5.1 , 4,2 under windows 7 and ubuntu 14.04 64bits

Best regards

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 91574] SLIDESHOW: presenter console not shown and focus remains on the secondary monitor

2015-07-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91574

--- Comment #44 from Arnaud LE CAM a...@lecam-conseil.com ---
as I said in comment #31, I agree with tommy27 on his comment #36.

I'm only concerned by issue #3, and i think it would be easy to track if we
split this bug into 3 new ones :
#1- presenter console not shown
#2- crash after advancing trough slideshow
#3- loss of focus in dual monitor after exiting the slideshow

Is there a simple way on buggzila to create 3 new bugs, linkink comments and
attachment of this one ?

Tried grepping for character_data in the code, but the only place I can find it
is

shell/source/all/xml_parser.cxx
static void xml_character_data_handler(void* UserData, const XML_Char* s, int
len)

shell/source/all/xml_parser.cxx
xml_character_data_handler)

so no idea where the character_data element for postgresql comes from.

I can reproduce it, but it is no longer very visible, just a slight flicker
while the mouse cursor travels upwards.

My best guess is that by hiding and unhiding the Formula Bar, some internal
setting was reset to a sane value, making the problem almost invisible.

The original phenomenon was really bad behavior, but since there is a
work-around, I think it is just a minor annoyance. Maybe this is simply
something to document?

--- Comment #3 from Michael Meeks michael.me...@collabora.com ---
Fair cop - so I'l easy-hack-ize this. The task would be (I guess) to catch and
unwind commitChanges() calls during startup that are writing redundant data,
and also (ideally) to defer config write-back until after startup has completed
- my hope being that we call an explicit flush_() that short-circuits that
timeout if we exit.

I guess we'd want to hook that into desktop/source/app/ via some new API on any
non-published interface implemented by (probably):

configmgr/source/configurationregistry.cxx

Or - I guess we could overload the semantic of 'flush' there - such that we
start out with a much longer timeout to write-back say 10seconds or so - and we
reset that on the first flush() - might work better ;-)

Thanks ! =)

  look for patches in bugzilla.
 Very thanks for your advice.
I will submit the patche to gerrit.

Please consider this for all patches: gerrit is much better to handle changes,
its much easier to see what a patch is build against, if its already included
etc.. If there is trouble with using gerrit, dont hesitate to ask to

(LibreOffice Still) and 4.4.4.3 (LibreOffice Fresh) just downloaded from
the website.

Therefore I think, the bug should no more be present in all currently supported
LibreOffice versions. Should it still be bibisected or can it be closed?

But that option is an either/or isn't it? If you select it aren't you
forced to only use English formulas? I think the request is to allow
 simultaneous use

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92584] New: Enhancement Request: Allow users to replace all instances of one color with another color.

2015-07-06 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92584

Bug ID: 92584
Summary: Enhancement Request: Allow users to replace all
instances of one color with another color.
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Draw
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: erw...@alumni.beloit.edu

It can be tedious and painful to replace hundreds or thousands of instances of
one color with another color.

It can be necessary because the new color palettes do not include all the same
colors as the old ones, and users may need to match colors of existing items to
those of new items.

It could be useful because users could experiment with different color choices
without changing each item.

It would also help for users to be able to check the color of a specific spot
without entering each group in turn.

Very simple Calc doc with short 2 line subroutine that illustrates the error.
Cell in A3 of non-active sheet is destroyed when sub executes.

When inserting a row by script using oSheet.Rows.insertbyindex(x,x) after
previously assigning oSheet via getActiveSheet results in destruction of
formula on non-active sheet.
