Screenshot of Sound Settings

In slides with video and sound it appears 3/5 sound streams in PulseAudio.
Three - with one display presentation, and five - with presenter console. And I
can hear several audio streams with some time shift. I searched this bug and
found it in OOo 3.3 in early 2009!

OS - Xubuntu 15.04

Maybe it is the same as bug 94570 ?

If not, please, did you ask for users support first?

No need to bibisect as the icon system was changed in 5.0 and wouldnt be
reverted.

(In reply to Vitaliy Lotorev from comment #4)
> There are also following mismatches:
> 1) Icon for menu "Edit->Track Changes->Manage Changes" is also different
> from "Manage changes" at sidebar.

Yes the icon in the sidebar is from tango and is used in Galaxy.

> 2) Icon for "navigator" at toolbar is different from that at sidebar.
>
> 3) Icon for "Clip Art Gallery" at toolbar is different from that at sidebar.

Those two icons are using the same look as the properties and styles and
formatting icons.

> Actually it appears that most icons at sidebar are different from those at
> menu/toolbar.

All these sidebar icons are taken from IBM Symphony's sidebar (
http://zoomexe.net/uploads/posts/2014-04/1396424626_ibm_lotus_symphony.png )
which didnt use the galaxy theme.

Presentation with Curve and 4-Point-Star Animations

MotionPath animation of type curve, polygon or freeform-line shows as Appear in
the UI.

Tested with LO 5.0.2.2 and 5.1 alpha on Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.04

To reproduce:
- Open the attached presentation
- Select the blue rectangle
- Open the 'Custom Animation' tab.
- Click on the 'Modify Effect' button.
- The popup will show 'Appear' animation instead of MotionPath with type Curve.
- Compare with the orange rectangle that shows '4 Point Start' as expected.

In content.xml the 'presentation:preset-id' is missing from the 'anim:par'
element of the blue rectangle.

This takes places on an Arch Linix x64 system.
Coredumps are written. This happened after the upgrade to 5.0.2.2.

 my post date almost a year;
I have been in the versions:
 Libreoffice Version: 4.4.2.2
 KDE - Plate-forme version 4.14.6
 Ubuntu 15.04

I had not set my problem with older versions.
But this was resolved with updates.
 Best regards

pardon for having polluted these posts;
I am not familiar.
I wanted to edit my post # 9 because of misspellings made him difficult to
understand.
But this does not seem possible.
delete please.
Best regards

do I mark it as resolved?

Hi Jonathan,

the column "Source" is set to a length of 8 characters. But you try to insert
'Online - htt' (might be a little bit longer, but the characters I could see
are 12).

Error only says there is a value too long to insert. So have a look at your
table-definition.

I cannot confirm both fixed behaviours, only one:
Under Mac OS X 10.10.5 and 10.11.0, installing LO 5.0.3.1 with the German
language pack, I still had to run LO once before installing the language pack -
otherwise the installation was reported as damaged and LO subsequently could
not be run.
Summary:
- the language packs seem to be signed and their installation can be run
"normally" (this was fixed)
- but you still have to run LO at least once before installing a language pack
(see also https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89704), so:
  * either this needs to be fixed (if possible)
  * or this information needs to be added back to the release notes for Mac OS
X

to do (perhaps you already did it).
1) Upgrade to a newer LO version

ok.

Meanwhile, let's put this one to WFM.

If I'm not completely wrong, even a jump function (or a log function) doesn't
give two different y-values for one identical x-value:
y = n1 | x >  m
y = n2 | x <= m
(or alike)

If you have results from measurements that tell different, the reason is most
probably the measuring tolerance of the system.

Attached two screenshots. First one ("Example for xy-scatter bar (taken from
chromatogram simulator") is a good example of how it could look. The program
used has more specific options for the task of simulating chromatographic data,
but is restricted to 10 entries.

> If I understand your request correctly, I think you can do such a chart in
> LO:
> 1/ assuming x values are in column A and y values in column B, from x-data,

Please see second attachment (xy-scattered colums from LO).
Not sure if I understood your advice correctly, since I can't see how to assign
a separate y-value to each x-value.
In addition, how can display of x-axis be set to give reasonable, legible
intervals?
I'm afraid this method wouln't work, though, since already for this small
simulation more than 600 lines of values are necessary.
Imagine a simulation of 60 minutes measurement, with increments of 0.001
minutes (totally realistic values for chromatography). This would result in
60,000 lines of values. And besides you would have to enter at least the
starting values by hand, LO would maybe soon hit it's limits for some
alterations (e.g., when applying functions to simulate different measurement
conditions).

I made some experiments myself, and the only way to have a similar result as
given in attachment 1 is:
1) Enter values by hand (e.g., column A representing the x-values, or minutes,
in this case, and column B representing corresponding y-values)
2) Adding two new lines between every line of x-values
3) Calculate an increment for every x, according to your demands (e.g., x-0.01
before and x+0.01 after each x)
4) set corresponding y-values to 0
5) use data to plot xy-scatter graph
The result is displayed in the third attachment ("xy-scatter graph").

However, for a series of e.g. 60 minutes measurement with one measuring point
every 0.001 minutes, it's very tedious to enter the data. If you copy the
values from e.g. an ascii-file, there is no way to automatically enter two new,
empty lines after each given line (at least I could not find any function that
would allow to do so). This would mean, you had to insert 120,000 new lines by
hand. And since selected cells or lines by ctrl-click and shift-click are not
handled differently (see M$ Office for reference), one had to click at least
180,000 times.
Consider 4 - 5 of these measurement series a day, and you would spend your time
doing nothing but clicking.

Cheers,
Thoskk

Guess my third attachmend is close to your example. Though, same restrictions

Example file

I admin OOoFBTools office extension website.
http://extensions.libreoffice.org/extension-center/fbtools
This extension widely uses reqular expressions.

For now I use app-office/libreoffice-4.4.5.2.
But issue appeared earlier, in 4.3 it was already present.

The issue is that LO regular exressions engine fails to process ALL breakline
patterns. It process just the first one.
Example file with test macros is in attach.

In app-office/openoffice-bin-4.1.1 macros from attached example works as
expected (replaces all find breakline patterns to paragraph), so, probably
issue appeared in about LO Writer 4.2.

the only thing showing through the black overlay is colored text.

I have to give this presentation in two weeks. I hope I do not have to copy all

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 94957] New: add unicode conversion shortcut (alt+x) to Math

2015-10-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94957

Bug ID: 94957
Summary: add unicode conversion shortcut (alt+x) to Math
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.1.0.0.alpha0+ Master
  Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Formula Editor
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: jumbo4...@yahoo.fr

Description: I read resolution of bug 73691 which eases entering unicode
character by typing its code, then Alt+X (or other short cut depending on OS).
It is not (yet) available for Math. It could be added?

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new document Writer, Calc, Impress or Draw
2. Enter a unicode, such as "2026" than Alt+X
=> unicode is replaced by character "…"
3. Create a new Math document
4. Enter a unicode, such as "2026" than Alt+X

Expected behavior:
=> unicode is replaced by character "…"

Actual behavior:
Nothing is changed and code 2026 remains

Math is coding special characters (Greek letters or mathematical symbols) with
a language specific code (%omega in English, %oméga in French) which may
destroy Math formula when changing UI language. Using unicode would be a good
solution.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 94958] New: Simple files with extension .odp does not open with the iOS Build

2015-10-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94958

Bug ID: 94958
Summary: Simple files with extension .odp does not open with
the iOS Build
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: ARM
OS: iOS
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: arjun@gmail.com

Created attachment 119517

The Presentation file being used.

I am currently on the gerrit master branch, and was able to successfully
compile iOS build for 9.0 for Xcode7, but trying to open a very simple .odp
file does not render anything and I see following warnings/errors being listed:

The most optimal means would be to change the drop down into the new color
selector control, but as the dialog is still .src based, bubli said that isnt
possible until the dialog is converted to glade .ui.

Could someone test again with 5.0.2.2 or with recent master sources?

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, default theme is Tango
for me. In this case, no icon, just "Insert".
If I choose Galaxy theme, there's an icon, but its purpose is not very clear if
we don't hover the mouse on it to have the short help as Robert indicated.

Means that the change in the icon system in 5.0 isnt working correctly if
galaxy is installed and the galaxy icon isnt showing in tango when tango doesnt
have the icon.

Would be useful to get a screenshot of the dialog with galaxy icons,

Digging through the source code, i found references to the insert button as
RID_STR_INSERT and m_aInsertButton in the following files, but couldnt track
down the uno command or icon filename path.

reportdesign/source/ui/report/report.src
reportdesign/source/ui/dlg/AddField.cxx
reportdesign/source/ui/inc/AddField.hxx

It would be useful to know some exact steps to open this dialog in Base.

@Maxim: Could you track down which icon it is?
