Clicking in empty cells produces warnings on the terminal like this:

(the number 36 varies, sometimes 34 or 35).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Start Libre Office from the command line
2. File->New->Spreadsheet
3. Click randomly in the empty cells

RESULTS: "Unknown event" warnings appear on the terminal

EXPECTED RESULTS: Nothing should be written to the terminal.

Here is a file that can demonstrate what I am showing.

Problem: When using Presenter Console in Impress the animation is very choppy.

How to reproduce the problem
1. go to preferences and choose impress
2. Click General
3. Check the box for Enable Presenter Console

press F5 or start the presentation. The animation is very choppy on the second
screen.

To make the problem go away turn off uncheck Enable Presenter Console and start
the presentation and the animation will be very smooth.

Actually I am not running multiple spaces unless you consider having a second
display (in this case a projector). Sometimes I run a second if I am using
Prezi, but not with LibreOffice.

Note: Prior to clicking on OPEN to open the file the first page usually a
graphic is displayed along with the correct number of pages. When I click OPEN

The 2nd demo (from comment #9) does not crash with 5.1.3.2

However there are some strange warnings written to the terminal about "Icons
too large" and "Unknown event notification".   I'll try on Master and file a
separate bug report if they persist.

Thank you, Takeshi Abe, for trying to reproducing the problem.
Ibus become impossible to toggle input sources. Libreoffice uses English
(direct input) after I type something to an input field in another window.
I will purge ibus and libreoffice and then will install them and will check if
I can input Japanese on libreoffice even after typing something to an input
field in another window.

So don't run the iSeries Client Access?

Looking in the Process Monitor log is showing registry queries to
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\PolicyManager\default\DataProtection\EDPEnforcementLevel
and assume this is only happening while the iSeries Client Access is running.
So EDP is being activated with iSeries Client Access.

If that is the case, then the issue is caused by a policy set for your company
EDP implementation, and the iService Client Access implements it.

LibreOffice is NOT an EDP aware application, but IIUC could be added as a
"Classic" Windows program. Beyond that, you need to check in with your IT types
about the role of IBM iSeries Client Access, the EDP policies, and if
LibreOffice can be allowed.

build-nocheck dbgutil enabled build.

What I would note is that the PDF is not a recognizable PDF by any of the apps
I have on my Mac, whether it be Adobe Reader, Preview, Abby Fine Reader Pro,
etc. In fact, the PDF in question provided by the OP is clearly incomplete,
buggy or malformed. It is this malformed PDF that is causing the problem -
maybe there is some kind of file type inspection performed by LO and stored in
memory when LO accesses a directory ?

I chose an ID field in my report, then Conditional Formmatting with function
ISEVEN() and red font. Saved the report, executed the report which gave correct
font colour for even numbered ID values, no crash.

With latest master dbgutil, the initial Finder window opens more quickly, but
first selection of any file takes so long that OSX considers the app to be not
responding.

By first selection of any file, I mean that when one selects a file with the
mouse in the Finder dialog list of files, the Open button is not activated for
more than a minute.

I do not think I'm wrong, but I downloaded the version from:
https://it.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/

LibreOffice not find the new version 5.1.3.2. So I checked out in the web site
https://it.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ and i downloaded the
5.1.3.2 version.

Now i have install the version 5.1.3.2 and now it work.

Someone else was having a similar issue in bug 100076. For them the following
option was unchecked, and checking it got rid of the crashes: Tools -> Options
-> LibreOffice -> View -> Use OpenGL for all rendering
(if it's checked currently, it's worth trying unchecking it)

I'd primarily suggest trying out the current 5.1.3.2 version, and see if the
crashes are gone.

Let us know if any of these suggestions worked.

When you are working on a Libreoffice document if you launch or close a session
of IBM iSeries Client Access (pscws.exe) the Libreoffice windows freeze for 10s
to 2mn (seems to depend of the computer power) moreover it may sometime freeze
forever.

Noticed on win10, w2008 and w2012 for x32 and x64
Libreoffice 5.0.3 also affected
IBM iSeries Client Access version 6.0


In the attachment, I have included samples of soffice.bin process activity
during the freeze : two screen captures of ProcessHacker and an export of
Sysinternal procmon

In Libre Office Writer, I selected a small block of text. A paragraph really.
Then I tried to change the font from bold to unbold. This locked up Writer and
all my other apps and my entire operating system. I am using Linux Mint
Cinnamon 17.3.

I lost my work. Not happy. Had to use power button to turn off computer.

Then I tested to see if this would happen again. It did.

Although it always hangs after running Ashampoo Burning Studio 15 I have
noticed it sometimes hangs on other occasions too with no specific trigger that
I can clearly identify yet.

Create a report, put in a field. Select the field, then Menu Format -
Conditional formatting...
Condition 1 : "Expression is", enter a condition, select a format (like a
different font color). Click OK, a message box comes up and Base crashes
entirely.

I have created a sample ODB file with embedded hsql.
I create a report using the wizard, and save it.
I then right mouse button click on the report and choose Edit. The report
definition opens for editing.

If I right mouse button click on a selected field, I don't see any Formatting
entry. Even if I display the Properties for the control, in the General tab, I
only see entries for "Conditional Print Expression" and "Formatting"

Please explain what it is you are doing.

The current functionning is ok for me (monday, tuesday... order). My concern
is: 
I started documentation. Should I wait, is this a bug, and it will be modified,
or it is deliberate (for consistency with other functions as you marked).

The change was not documented in the release notes but refers to OASIS, we can
not know...

Well, by 5-0 and 5-1 the tab ordering is regular. The dialogs are totally
different to the original report though, so its still the case that one tab
doesn't jump from find to replace, but the ordering of tabing is the same as
left to right top to down of widget placement

Received an em notice that this bug had an added "needAdvice" notification. I
don't know what that means or who generated it.

I haven't changed the status of this bug as it's still a bug.

To Recreate the bug using LibraOffice Calc: 

1) Name or import a SS with a XLS file name extension (Ex: Expenses.xls), 

2) create another SS with either a xls or ods extension, (Ex: Gas.xls), 

3) In Expenses, set up cell(s) which link to Gas.xls (or Gas.ods), enter
numeric data in the external cell(s),

3) than save the SS's.

Click to reopen Expenses.xls, it will ask if you wish to update links to other
files. Click 'Yes'. It will give an error message "The following external file
could not be loaded. Data linked from this file did not get updated."

The error will be generated because Calc appends the path to the external cell
each time the SS is closed than opened.

Thanks for the input. That reference goes back a ways, and I didn't find a
similar file on my install, though I could be wrong.

More importantly, I don't think this is a systemic problem, since 5.1.3.2 is
unaffected. It seems to be within 5.2 beta. I've rechecked my settings and
don't find a difference, though I could be wrong on that too somewhere.

I tried a fresh file with fresh text, and the problem manifests there as well.

This is not the first time I have seen such "coherent profile corruption":
there was one master update that caused it for several QA members about a year
ago. I did not file a report, but I remember spamming some existing one.

On 10.11.5, with LO 5132 :

I can only get each line to be read by VoiceOver if I click on each one with
the mouse. The combo keys do not work to move the VoiceOver box downwards from
the top of my test document, and only the first line gets read.

I am having this same problem with 5.1.3.2 on Ubuntu 16.04.

It's clear to me that skipping a change is not expected behavior, even if two
changes next to each other (e.g. a deletion and insertion) might be thought of
as a single change. I don't think that question needs to be answered: "next
change" should always mean "next tracked deletion or insertion". I'm just a
user though.

Playing around with the test document, I notice some really inconsistent
behavior. I encounter the skipping the first time through, but if I go back and
forth with the next and previous buttons, some of the skipping stops.

I've an alternative solution for the thing that prompted me to add ToTop there.
I'd appreciate if someone on windows can test (like the message say) a windows
5.3/5.2 build with this fix in it, and report if it works. If it does I'll
backport to 5.1

Lets assume this fixes this for now and mark it as such

It should be translated as Miklos points, even if each corporation will have
its own example.xml. They are meaningful for many organizations and is a very
good starting point to implement/enhance a classification policy.
