Not reproduced with LO 5.1.0.3/Windows XP.

The other mentioned reports were referring to huge fonts in the system, I
wonder if it depends on some installed fonts or font-related settings.

No issue with export to SVG filter, issue with SVG import filter. Workaround

Sorry, that is not our QA process on LibreOffice. This is an UNCONFIRMED
issue--moving it to NEW status would signify that someone other than the OP has
confirmed it. That is not the case so setting accordingly.

Rather, please stop setting your own BZ reports as NEW as you seem to be in the
habit of doing routinely--it does not help anything.

Sorting Draw pages in Navigator is open as enhancement in bug 92469.

Otherwise the Draw View -> Page Pane allows you to sort pages of a Draw
document the same as slides of an Impress presentation in the "Slide Pane".
Drag and drop to reorder.

2016-06-25 Thread bugzilla-daemon

Bug ID: 100611
Summary: DATALOSS: Document with chart can be saved as chart,

   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 4.1.0.4 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED

  Reporter: ba...@caesar.elte.hu

Created attachment 125906
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=125906=edit
A chart that is not just a chart

1. Start new document in Writer.
2. Click Chart on toolbar to insert a sample chart.
3. Verify you're in the chart editor, and while in there, save your document.

=> Save As dialog opens (note the type: ODF Chart), then document is saved as a
chart with .odc extension (further saves keep this format/extension even when
done from the document), and will be opened as an empty LibreOffice Chart next
time.

The document can be fixed manually by adjusting media-type in manifest.xml from
"application/vnd.oasis.opendocument.chart" to
"application/vnd.oasis.opendocument.text" (there's still a document recovery
dialog in Writer).

Sometimes this error message pops up when trying to save:
"Error saving document : Wrong parameter. The operation was started
under an invalid parameter."
( = the name given in the Save As dialog)
Not sure what the exact steps are to get an error, I usually clicked around
inside/outside the chart during testing.

Reproduced in 4.1.0.4, 5.1.4.2 and master build in Windows 7, and with 5.0.5.2
in Linux.
Not reproduced in 4.0.0.3. => regression

Bug 70977 is related, but this one didn't occur in 4.0, and the expected
behavior could be different in Writer compared to Calc. (would saving a chart
separately be a legitimate feature in Writer?)

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100556] IMPORT XLS

2016-06-25 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100556

Yeah, I thought that you'd ask me to send the file. Here's what I see as the
problem in doing that, and by the way I downloaded "OpenOffice" (sorry) and the
same problem happens - except that their cells actually show the "1899" date in
all the cells.
Okay problem ... even if I sanitize the data I would have to save the file and
doing so might influence the structure. Having left M$ years ago my only
current version of M$O is 2003 and knowing M$'s bent to isolate its products
like it has over the years from the Linux community makes me believe that this
is by design; especially since now having experienced the same problem in "OO".
Maybe the report should be closed but for information sake ... the bank
provides a "csv" in which the first column is the account number. In my talks
with the bank I asked if the xls is missing that column or is it not being
generated and they said ... Not included. Since the "csv" has no problems
importing I won't belabor the issue.
Last they (bank) had recently like most vendors moved to include a mobile
platform and a newer online presence and for my own edification have been
exploring and testing.
If I can get the bank to send me an almost blank file I will gladly forward
that to you; but the issue I see there is that my "xls" file is being generated
on the fly and that server version could be different from what a staff member
might generate to send to me.
Being that they're a "financial" institution their "3rd party" tools or web
subcontractors are " Not " under their control and my insistence to root to the
heart of this problem has caused them to look at me with some concern instead
of seizing the opportunity to make any corrections.

Close the case and if I find time to further this I will re-open a bug report.
Thanks

Ask the designer of your icon theme to do it. If themed LibreOffice icons are
already present, maybe the theme lacks some symlinks.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100608] New: Add Circular / Round Versions of Updated General Application Launch Icons

2016-06-25 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100608

Bug ID: 100608
Summary: Add Circular / Round Versions of Updated General
Application Launch Icons
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.1.2.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: LibreOffice
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: don.pellet...@gmail.com

Created attachment 125903
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=125903=edit
icons in dock

(Aside, and not directly related) I *love* the updated Breeze icon style (to
me, it now thoroughly polished and professionally presentable). However, for
those who use a round system icon theme, it would be great to add a set of
circular or round versions of LibreOffice's updated launch icons (general
application launch). Please see attachments for illustration (notice the
FreeOffice round icons).

Load xlsm file formulae with whole column selection loads with wrong formula

e.g.:
=ROUND(SUMIF(Transactions.I:I,A3,Transactions.F:F)-SUMIF(Transactions.G:G,A3,Transactions.F:F),2)

loads as:
=ROUND(SUMIF($Transactions.$I$1:$I$2,A3,$Transactions.$F$1:$F$2)-SUMIF($Transactions.$G$1:$G$2,A3,$Transactions.$F$1:$F$2),2)

i.e. takes only the first two cells rather than the entire column

Indeed, when I tried to install after setting German locale, the text ended
with "und ..." for me (Windows 7, no display scaling).

I don't know if the installer can be made more flexible, alternatively the text
could be shortened to fit in most cases.

2012-05-15 06:56:38 (GMT) commit 50cb1667020494906afaacb68d4163d1eda527cf
fdo#49940 dmapper: handle m_bTitlePage when m_nBreakType is zero

The problem in buggy2.docx is that headers are redefined many times. In word,
it appears as if headers are a section property while in LO they are a page
style property. Thus, in LO, a new style is created for each section that has
a different header (and thus continuous breaks are converted into page breaks).

This also causes the document to round-trip terribly - since all continuous
breaks have been removed, the column breaks start affecting the wrong places.

OK, I have found a solution but really by accident.

Tried a stock 16.04 xubuntu system and no sign of the problem. Then install
all the applications on the stock system and still no problem.

Then back on my base system I noted that with the Intel Corporation Broadwell-U
Integrated Graphics card I run the resolution at 1600x900 as opposed to the
standard 1920x1080 resolution. So, I change the resolution to 1920 and the
problem went away!! Then changed the desktop resolution back to the 1600x900
and the problem no longer exists!

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100530] Unable to access LibreOffice Online menu or toolbar ( CollaboraCloudSuite) via keyboard when using a screen reader

2016-06-25 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100530

I am not hyper-optimistic about accessibility for LibreOffice Online -
ultimately we have to integrate with browser APIs here - and our model (which
is similar in some ways to a terminal server / VNC approach) will cause issues
I guess - last I looked at ARIA it seemed very weak on annotating dynamic
content; I've no idea how widespread canvas / widget toolkit use will fit
there.

What would help would be to get some input, and ideally funding from the a11y
community; it is entirely possible that the browser APIs are inadequate for our
needs here: ie. mirroring and exposing an existing remote a11y object hierarchy
in the browser.

So for the meantime; I'd suggest continuing to use the PC version - which is
(anyhow) more functional.

Hope that helps !

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100602] New: EDITING: Expressions with global scope shouldn' t be copied to a local scope, when a sheet is copied. Released notes 5.2

2016-06-25 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100602

Bug ID: 100602
Summary: EDITING: Expressions with global scope shouldn't be
copied to a local scope, when a sheet is copied.
Released notes 5.2
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.2.0.0.beta2
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: miguelange...@libreoffice.org

Created attachment 125898
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=125898=edit
Tes file to copy global local named expressions

https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/5.2#Copying_named_expressions_and_ranges_while_copying_sheets

IMO when a sheet is copied to a new one, shouldn't create a copy of named
expressions having global scope to one with local scope.

NameExpression Scope
global $Sheet1.$A$1 Document (Global)
global $NewSheet.$A$1 NewSheet -> not create
global_global global*100 Document (Global)
global_global   global*100   NewSheet  -> not create
global_localSheet1.local*1000Document (Global)
global_locallocal*1000   NewSheet  -> not create
local $Sheet1.$A$2 Sheet1
local $NewSheet.$A$2 NewSheet
local_globalglobal*1 Sheet1
local_globalglobal*1 NewSheet
local_local Sheet1.local*10 Sheet1
local_local local*10 NewSheet

global $NewSheet.$A$1 NewSheet
global_global global*100 NewSheet
global_locallocal*1000 NewSheet

Having a formula that has a named expression with global scope, what I expect
when the cell is copied, is the references to the named expression (global)
remaining without change, like happens doing an ordinary copy of cells between
sheets.

I don't think it's fine allowing global and local expressions with the same
name

I don't know if this bug should be considered as a regression. It worked fine
before OpenGL, and it still work fine without OpenGL. But, on the other hand,
OpenGL is the future of LO and all functionality should work with OpenGL
So IMHO it's a regression

All users using graphite fonts are affected. I don't know if it concerns many
people.
The only work around is to stop using graphite fonts or disable OpenGL
So Adding keyword regression

Ah yes, I should have mentioned that I'm using the TDF build from:

http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/testing/5.2.0/deb/x86_64/LibreOffice_5.2.0.1_Linux_x86-64_deb.tar.gz

I simply installed all .debs with "dpkg -i *.deb"

Just out of interest: is "Use OpenGL on all Rendering" or "Force OpenGL even if

If so: have you installed any glx, opengl, mesa, etc. packages? Do they work
with other applications? What happens, if you disable them?

Created attachment 125897

working patch that makes the provided test document work correctly.

Confirming that "NO0492-355c Office and Indus Dist Regs Part 1.doc" still
switches to portrait orientation on the following pages in LO 5.3dev.

I tried to reproduce this problem in a simple test document (using Word 2003)
and failed. The problem comes because the very first breaktype encountered is
a 92250 (continuous section break). Every new document I create works because
it uses the default breaktype (-1) for "First Page".

My patch is decent, but it also copies the Header to the second page, and since
I can't recreate the problem from scratch I'm not proposing this as a fix.

Screenshot

With the LibO Installations assistant in the dialogue window for the choice of
the set-up kind the German text is not to be read under 'Angepasst' completely
(see attachment).

In my opinion it would be desirable, if - provided that possibly - the size of
the place for the announcement, it is in width or in line number, automatically
and dynamically of the text amount into respective language adapts.

2016-06-25 Thread bugzilla-daemon

OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED

Missing Classification drop-down menu

A new document classification toolbar has been added for LO 5.2:
http://vmiklos.hu/blog/classification-toolbar.html

The drop-down list shows an example policy that is included with LibreOffice,
activated via View > Toolbars > Classification.

However, with a fresh installation of LO 5.2.0 rc1 on a fresh installation of
Lubuntu 16.04, the drop-down list doesn't appear as it should. Instead, a
button appears that does nothing in Writer (see attached screenshot). In Calc,
the button toggles the Sidebar on and off.

In Tools > Options > Paths, Classification points to
/opt/libreoffice5.2/program/../share/classification/example.xml, which is a
valid path. Pointing it directly at the example.xml (ie
/opt/libreoffice5.2/share/classification/example.xml) doesn't fix the problem.

Version: 5.2.0.1
