So If I understood it well this happens only when opengl is not active I'll
go check what is the situation on my win8 and win10 machines let you know the
results.

Right now I may observe that on my win7 machine, onpegl has the active flag,
but right below this in the options dialog window there a message that say that
it is at present NOT active. it turns active only if I flag the "Blacklist"
option, but i must say that visual rendering of the dialog windows is worse is
this latter case...

So may we conclude that on win7 opengl activation is not an issue for this
problem.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 103023] When editing a cell, the leading character of that cell becomes corrupted.

2016-10-08 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103023

Attached, please find an example of the corrupted cell.

I copied and pasted the contents of cell J152 to J154.

At this stage, everything renders correctly in J154.

I edited J154 to simplify the IPv6 address (deleted the leading zeros).

The first character of J154 is now corrupted. It should be a "2," but it looks
like a "3" is transposed over top of it.

Both cells are identically formatted and the font is Liberation Sans 10.

If I merge cell J154 with J155, the corrupted rendering does not change.

If I change the font of J154 to Deja Vu (or some others), the cell contents
render correctly.

Yep I checked the forums and they are still getting questions regarding
permission problems.
This thread had an interesting bit: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2205195
"Another possibility is Process Monitor from Sysinternals-a Microsoft company

This tool looks at exactly what is happening during an installation of anything
and produces a log."

Maybe you could get a log of LibreOffice installation and see, if the
permission change is in that log?

Created attachment 127880
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=127880=edit
Try to create a view from one of the queries. Try to create directly. Won#t
work.

Attached database would only work with LO 5.3, not 5.2, because the internal
Firebird-database has been changed to Firebird 3. Try to create a view - the
errormessages says, you won't have privilegies for this.

--- Comment #9 from rob...@familiegrosskopf.de ---
I tried to take a query and get a view by the contextmenue. This is the
errormessage I got:

firebird_sdbc error:
*unsuccessful metadata update
*CREATE VIEW Dateadd failed
*There is no privilege for this operation
caused by
'CREATE VIEW "Dateadd" AS SELECT DATEADD(-6 DAY TO "Datum") AS "6TageVorher",
"Datum", DATEADD(MONTH, 9, "Datum") FROM "Table1"'

I get the same errormessage when I try to create a view trough Tables > Create
view.

You are not allowed to create a view. Only the menue isn't greyed out any more.
So the bug still exists.

For original description, the original .doc file were opened with LibreOffice
(1), then saved as .docx with LibreOffice (2), then reopen with LibreOffice(3)
again. So the observed behavior had been mixed, any of the three actions might
cause an issue, and they might possibly changed now. Version of the LibreOffice
might make difference.

On the other hand, the hierarchy of the styles in attachment 107187 in comment
2 observed in LibreOffice is the same as observed in MS Office 2010. Which
means it isn't a FILEOPEN issue. If the file is saved by LibreOffice, then the
style might be modified or destroyed. It will be better to have original file
as comparison, and create different issue for that.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 58318] FORMATTING: Displaying of Tab Positions is Wrong within Text Documents with 2 ( or more) Columns in MS Word Format

2016-10-08 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58318

Tested again with versions 5.0.1 and 5.2.2 with original test procedure:

...

Step (3): Against my original statement the display of the tab in the right
half is correct, because the numbering of the ruler in the right half also
refers to the left column. What's irritating is the 'white' ruler background of
the right column. It seems that this part of the ruler refers to the right
column. I think that only the ruler background of the column where the cursor
is positioned should be white. The background(s) of the other column(s) should
be greyed like the backgrounds beyond the page margins. Perhaps also a lighter
grey may be suitable.

...

Step (5): With version 5.0.1 a blue line above the right column is displayed,
with 5.2.2 the line is not displayed. It's only displayed if Non-printing
Characters are displayed. To my opinion the version 5.2.2 is correct now. Not
correct is, that the term "Manual Column Break" is not displayed above the blue
line. You have to scroll the page down and up again, then the term is
displayed.

...

Step (10): In version 5.0.1 two tabs are displayed, in 5.2.2 only one is
displayed. I think the version 5.2.2 is correct now.

Step (11): Contrary to version 5.0.1 with version 5.2.2 the cursor now jumps to
the correct tab position.

Conclusion: Main problem is solved in version 5.2.2. Two minor problems still
exist (step 3 and 5).

It's the same thing witn no Firebird database and it's the same thing with

I just reproduce it using a clean profile and the default template + OpenGL
disabled (it's enabled by default).

Again, and sadly, I can't find proper steps to reproduce. I just start to click
on different parts of the slide, with "properties" deck selected.
Then, and suddenly, after selecting the Title of the slide the bug appears but
not always.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 103059] New: Table of contents won't "stick" after save and close

2016-10-08 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103059

Bug ID: 103059
Summary: Table of contents won't "stick" after save and close
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.2.1.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: r...@fael.lv

Description:
Using LibreOffice Writer 5.2.1.2 (x64) on Windows 10 x64, table of contents
won't "stick" after save and close.

Because I am using Writer in portuguese I'm not quite sure the name of thing is
actually "table of contents". I'm talking about the alphabetic ordered summary.

I tried several documents.

Until I figured this out, I was editing files away with great abandon, but now,
thanks to this, several of my previous documents with months old tables of
contents are now useless.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a table of contents
2. Highlight some text, add it as an entry to the table of contents. That text
becomes highlighted grey.
3. Update table of contents, the entries display normally.
4. Save, close.
5. Re-open document. Table of contents is untouched, but entries in text are no
longer highlighted gray.
6. Update table of contents, all entries disappear.

Actual Results:
Table of contents empty irreversibly, useless.

Expected Results:
Table of contents full of cool entries I created.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
One strange behavior: upon trying to format table of content, application would
return an error "idxexample.odt is in use", with three options: Open read-only,
Open or Cancel. If I Open or Cancel, the dialog opens "empty", just the header
with the close button and below it, a semi-transparent window with nothing on
it. If I open read-only, dialog works normally. I found idxexample.odt, changed
permissions to allow everyone and his brother to do whatever with the file.
After this, this error went away, but it didn't solve the issue with the tables
of contents disappearing.

the right instructions to the issue are:

1- open writer
2- fill two pages with empty new lines
3- add footer
3b- open footer's properties (Format footer)
4- change the Spacing value from 0,50cm to 5,50 cm (a big value in order to
easily see if view updates itself)
5- you can notice that first page doesn't change will the second do it

sorry for this setback!

anyhow, the problem has gone... FIXED with 5.2.2

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103058

Bug ID: 103058
Summary: Implement OpenDocuments ActiveX control to provide
seamless IE integration for ODF files on SharePoint
server via WebDAV
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: LibreOffice
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: mikekagan...@hotmail.com

The proposal is to implement OpenDocuments ActiveX control (see
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms454230) to provide seamless IE
integration for ODF files on SharePoint server via WebDAV.

This allows ODF documents on SharePoint server to be associated with
LibreOffice, which will open them using WebDAV according to user-chosen option
(read/edit), on par with MS Office documents support that SharePoint provides.

I should add that since my last post I have reinstalled my system and I am
currently on Debian Jessie (with some backports), not on testing any more.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 46871] [FORMATTING] Anchor images as a character

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46871

(In reply to sophie from comment #4)
> Hi, if you protect the position of the picture (right click > position and
> size > protect) it won't move from the cell/page it is anchored to.

Drawback is that the cell size does not adapt to the image size. The user must
adjust the width of cell to match the size of the image. This requires manual
work and prevents the use of Optimal height (width) for the row (column,
resp.).

2016-10-08 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103057

Bug ID: 103057
Summary: Elements of different sidebar decks overlaps in
Impress
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.2.2.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: franciscoadriansanc...@gmail.com

Created attachment 127875
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=127875=edit
Screenshot

As the title says.

When selecting different decks, the sidebar shows the Styles deck and when
moving the pointer over it, the buttons of the deck that is actually selected
(Properties) appears.

So far, I have experienced this bug only in Impress, but this may be a general
bug.

Steps:
Sadly, I haven't been able to track specific steps to reproduce it yet.
Sorry...

But it indeed happens on Windows and Linux (both x64) with OpenGL disabled.

I'm attaching a screenshot that shows the problem.

This issue could be related to bug 96451, which is similar and has been already
solved for Math. So... I hope that even without any specific step to reproduce
(it just happens... :-( ) the developer that solved bug 96451 could now what's
happening.

Hi @Gabor, thanks for reporting.

Sorry but in
C10:=VLOOKUP(C10;$Keretek.A3:F369;6;0)
dates in $Keretek are in column B not A
so you need adapt the range to search and column number.
It happens also in other formulas like C14.

Resolved as not a bug, please if you are not agree, reopen it.
