On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I could reproduce this.

I noticed that when flipping horizontally, crop handle from right or left is
also wrong.
After rotating the images the flip button which changed a bit reset to its
initial state and I don't reproduce the pb then.

I must add that in 5.3.0.1 and current master, the playback/volume controls on
Media Playback sidebar deck work as expected; but the same controls on Media
Playback toolbar still have this problem. I wonder if there's some code
duplication?

It could be a problem with fonts triggered only on Windows
To be sure, would it be possible you retrieve a backtrace by following the

?
Of course, it could be more quick to give a try to prerelease 5.3.0 as advised

Writer has two kind of icons. One of them gives the bucket and the other
doesn't. The bucket version is shown as default.
Please look in the customize dialog. The bucket version has the command
.uno:FontColor; the one without bucket has the command .uno:Color.

Do not use "Select whole Table" but select from end of paragraph before the
table to start of paragraph after the table. That is a workaround. I too think,

As I have tested the option it's on the Menu/Edit/Freeze cells.

It's the first time that I have seen a request like this, and now every think
that people like can be incorporated.

If you want that, then select the range to sort that you like. You can define a
database range, that can be easily selectable to sort.

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I could reproduce this.

I noticed several things:
- if I use ppt instead of pptx, I don't reproduce this
- if I create a brand new file with 2 slides in portrait, when exporting in
pptx and open it again, the first is in landscape but the second one in
portrait.

I put a break on SdPage::SetOrientation and tested it with this 2 slides pptx,

Impress (or Word, Google Docs, Wordpad for that matter). 
I'm not able to click the font color icon, so I can type in that color next.
Instead I get a mouse pointer with a bucked, to change already typed text.

Description:
Selecting a table row isn't working properly if the selection starts at a row,
containing a cell with a table. It's working correctly when starting from row 6
up to row 1.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open attached file
2. Move the mouse cursor near left table border "Select table row" will popup.
3. Try to select row 1-5 with dragging alongside the table rows (by pressing
down the left mouse button and dragging towards table bottom. 


Actual Results:  
The both row of the left column of the table within the row will be selected. 


Expected Results:
The row containing the table should be selected

First, it involves deleting a column not a row.
Second, the integer is part of the function ADDRESS that points to a column
identified by an integer. when "x" columns to the left are deleted, the
function needs to point to "x" columns to the left, not the original column.

If the function allowed the use of letters for the column and if the letter was
changed (in this example)from N to M, the function would work properly. And it
should even when using integers.

so instead of specifying the 14th column (which is N)
=IF(G5=0," ",INDIRECT((ADDRESS((ROW()-$B5),14,2)))*H5)

use the column letter $N
=IF(G5=0," ",INDIRECT((ADDRESS((ROW()-$B5),$N,2)))*H5)

and when column G is deleted, change $N to $M and H5 to G5
=IF(G5=0," ",INDIRECT((ADDRESS((ROW()-$B5),$M,2)))*G5)

I hope that's clear enough for you to understand.
Actually the function with the 'error' is ADDRESS. It's just that INDIRECT
requires the use of ADDRESS.

I'm sure that someone copied both formulas from Excel without any testing.

LO could, when reading in an Excel file, translate the integer (14) to a letter
($N), act properly and then when writing out the sheet to an Excel format,
translate the letter ($M) back to an integer (13). That would be one way the MS
Excel users could fix their sheets, use the competitions (LO-Calc) correct
functions.

ADDRESS requires you to specify that you want to look for a "ROW()" that is 
offset by "-$B5" or -2 rows (negaative means it's above) from the row in which
ADDRESS resides, and if it finds that row (row 3 in this example) without
error, to return the value "0.087" which it finds in the 14th column of that
row (which would be N3).
INDIRECT uses ADDRESS to find the value ("0.087") which it then multiplies by
the value in H5 ("7.9500"), in this example that's "0.087"  *  "7.9500"
resulting in a value "0.692" in cell N5.

Because of the error/bug, after deleting column G, the result, now in M5, is
the "kWh low", now in G5 ("7.9500", which is correct) multiplied by the price
for "mid" ("0.132"), now in N3) and that's wrong. It should be using the price
for "low" now in M3 (0.870").

The purpose of this sheet is to record the daily usage of electricity, to price
it and calculate the total $ which I should be billed, it acts as a "proof"
that I'm billed correctly.
Column A is the dates within a billing period
column B is the number of that date from the beginning, or Day 1, Day 2, 
Day 35.
Columns H, I & J contain the usage in kWh which are priced from low to high
Columns N, O & P contain the rates & costs for basic electricity usage, from
low to high
Columns S, T & U contain rates & costs that include electricity + other
charges, priced from low to high.
The rates can change at the beginning of a billing period (month) and do on
both regular and irregular schedules. That's why there's a pricing row before
each set of rows for a billing period. In my real life sheet I decided to
re-purpose column G rather than delete it because I'd have to correct too many
formulas using the INDIRECT/ADDRESS functions.
So, I can live with what I have now, but the error should be addressed (no pun
intended) and fixed for future use, not just by me but everyone.

It is a duplicate of bug 105015 because it has the same cause affecting all
LibreOffice modules. The
http://crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/signature/SalAbort(rtl::OUString%20const%20&,bool)
has recorded 7525 crash reports in the 5.2.4.2 build and probably 30% are
against calc.  It is the same issue ;-)

The patched 5.2.5.1 build is on the pre-release server.

back up a directory if you prefer the 64-bit build.

Copy and a paste special from attachment 130430 (from duplicate bug 105340 )
offers "Formatted Text [RTF]" format choice. The columns from OOXML sheet paste
into a table in Writer. 

But may have some adjustment to do yet, as the formatting on canvas of the RTF
as copied from Calc does not match the format of the RTF when copied from Excel
2007. Seems like we loose some of the styling of the text between LO modules in
rendering the RTF to document canvas.

And with Impress, the Edit -> Paste Special for selection is still offering the
"Formatted text [Richtext]" as well as the desired "Formatted text [RTF]"--but
either is restyled from the RTF to use defined Table style. But here, pasting
from Excel 2007 to Impress keeps the text styling (i.e. bold and color) but
picks up the Impress table style.

Raises the question--I'm not clear should pasting an RTF retain fidelity to its
source style(s)? If answer is no--then believe we are good. Otherwise, may need
more development.

Attempting various setups for video capture and variations on dual LOwriter
window situation across one or two displays. Prepared a clean LOwriter doc of
Lorum ipsum and could not exactly reproduce what I had seen earlier with a
private working doc. However, I can reproduce functionally equivalent behavior
under slightly different conditions. Reported bug was with a private doc and
one window each display with both windows set for LO 120% view. With fresh
Lorum ipsum doc the horizontal jitter and cursor misplacement behavior reported
only becomes severe when MAIN (editing) LO windows is at 75% while REFERENCE
still at 120%.

Acquired OB Studio and after much fiddling and poking achieved video cap of
both displays simultaneously. However, I now know I will need video editing
software to cut down the result even and add on-screen notes for each trial
variation.

However video cap also complicates showing the dynamic behavior: the machine
load from recording and stream-scaling video cap at 30 fps changes the
relatively 'smooth' horizontal jitter into something more like irregular video
driver jags.

Will post video cap when I have it.

I'm puzzled as to why this bug has been classed a duplicate of bug 105015.

I can't get Calc to even start, whereas bug 105015 refers to fonts not being
rendered correctly. Have I missed something?

Finally, which LO version should I try to get Calc working again, perhaps 5.2.2
or 5.2.3 ??

When adding or deleting row(s), references are updated consequently.
But only cell references. Why should we change an integer ?
Imagine that in a cell I have a formula =$A$1*10
deleting a row between 2 and 10 should not change the formula in =$A$1*9.

If you want the formula to change, don't use integer but a function.
In this case, replace the number 14 by COLUMNS($A$1:$N$1)

I just bought this card($197.74CAD)in the hopes that it would have 'up-to-date'
drivers which would eliminate the rendering issues, and it does when OpenGL is
enabled, but then has the problem with left over remnants of drop down lists. 

With OGL disabled, the rendering is so bad that I can't possibly use LO. When I
first clicked on what I saw as the cell with "13:49" a cell with a "3" appeared
for editing/copying etc. so the cursor wasn't associated with what I saw. I
realized this and clicked, not over the "13:49" but further to the right, I got
a cell with "13:49" to edit/copy, etc. No one could work with that problem.

For fonts that have an Opentype or Graphite metric defined, simply append

It becomes intolerable due to unbelievable rendering problems.

However the portions of the drop down lists are cleaned up properly.

If I have to choose, I choose good rendering with some sloppy handling when
cleaning drop down lists.

By the way, my nVidia driver pack is 376.19.0.0 w764bit which you apparently
'support' (i.e. you don't blacklist it).

check the screenshot 05 which shows left over portions of the Logo and includes
a portion of this post.

There were recent fixes to "crash on exit" in connection with having something
in the clipboard: bug 104830 and it's "See also" have more info.

Fixing these were seen as a reason to hasten the release of 5.2.5. So keep and
eye on http://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/ - a release candidate
should hit it next week.

This issue is a serious problem for all of us who depend on extensions - e.g.
academics who need to install the plug-in for Zotero, Endnote or another

Just updated to LO v5.2.4.2, ALL LibreOffice modules (Calc, Writer, etc) crash
on Exit. Note that if I have more than one LO module open (2 Calc sheets or
Calk + Writer) the crash happens when I close the the last open module.

ALSO: This may be a different issue, I have Update Checks daily but I am NOT
getting notifications and manual checks always say 'Up to date' (like I was
running LO v5.2.3.2 but had to goto LO site to see v5.2.4.2)
