[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107348] New: Pasting transpose of filtered data pastes unfiltered data
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107348 Bug ID: 107348 Summary: Pasting transpose of filtered data pastes unfiltered data Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.2.5.1 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: mohith.ma...@skanray.com Created attachment 132745 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=132745=edit Paste transpose of filtered data 1. Assume there is a table of data with auto-filter turned ON. 2. The table is then filtered based on a specific key. 3. The filtered table is copied. 4.a. Clipboard is pasted (into same or another ODS file) with only value and transpose option UNCHECKED. 4.b. Clipboard is pasted (into same of another ODS file) with only value and transpose option CHECKED. Expectation Both steps 4.a and 4.b should result in the filtered data only getting pasted. Actual result 1. At step 4.a the filtered data only is pasted (as expected). 2. At step 4.b the entire data is pasted (while transposing it of course)! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

No problem with hiding it (although exposing it is the first thing I do with the tabbed Notebookbar) but it should not then be a hassle to unhide it to move to another GUI configuration. > > But I take your point that with the Tabbed Notebookbar now hiding > > the main menu by default, one would want to be on the "hamburger" > > configuration tab to expose the main menu. > > The point i wanted to get across is that the tabs of the Notebookbar are > equivalent to the main categories of the main menu. Only supporting the > *minimum* F6 cycling with movements for keyboard navigation is > limiting the MUFFIN interfaces compared to Toolbar and Menus. You seem to be confusing MUFFIN with Notebookbar quite a bit, as we have 4 MUFFIN interfaces (default, single, sidebar, notebookbar) and 3 Notebookbar interfaces (tabbed, single, groups). Of these 7 interfaces, only 1 doesnt have a menu bar - tabbed Notebookbar - so i would assume this issue would be limited to it. > We are going to need mnemonic accelerators, and maybe even some assigned > shortcuts for the various Notebookbar GUI layout(s) to be comfortable for > keyboard and a11y users. Mnemonic accelerators for the tab? Not sure what you meant by 'shortcuts for the various Notebookbar GUI layout(s)'. > This in addition to finishing up work on bug 90195 an F10 shortcut for > unhiding the main menu bar. Only supporting the *minimum* F6 cycling with movements for keyboard navigation is limiting the MUFFIN interfaces compared to Toolbar and Menus. We are going to need mnemonic accelerators, and maybe even some assigned shortcuts for the various Notebookbar GUI layout(s) to be comfortable for keyboard and a11y users. This in addition to finishing up work on bug 90195 an F10 shortcut for unhiding the main menu bar. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107314] Galaxy Icon Set: Inconsistency of icon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107314 Regina Henschelchanged: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC||rb.hensc...@t-online.de Version|5.3.2.1 rc |5.2.0.0.alpha0+ Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from Regina Henschel --- Yes, there is inconsistency. The large icons are not similar to the small icons. We have for "Insert Image" = .uno:InsertGraphic large is a "beach photo" | small is "group of rectangle, circle, triangle" for "Show Draw Functions" = .uno:InsertDraw large is "group of rectangle, circle, triangle" | small is "pen" The problem was introduced from version 5.1.6 to 5.2. The large icon of .uno:InsertDraw was changed, but the small one not. Suggestion: Retrieve the large "Pen"-icon for .uno:InsertDraw from version 5.1.6. Same problem for the large icon of .uno:InsertGraphic. From version 5.1.6 to 5.2 the large icon was changed from "group of rectangle, circle, triangle" to "beach photo", but the small icon was not changed and is still "group of rectangle, circle, triangle". The "beach photo" is actually the icon of .uno:GraphicFilterPoster. It is not by itself bad, to use the same icon. Her is bad, that only the large icon was changed. So either make both sizes "beach photo" or both sizes "group of rectangle, circle, triangle". I have no preference for one or the other, because "group of rectangle, circle, triangle" was longer used, but "beach photo" is more suitable for insert image. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107295 Aron Budeachanged: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC||ba...@caesar.elte.hu Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from Aron Budea --- This is a bit tricky. - Issue 1: yes, I noticed that as well, it's an issue. - Issue 2: it seems to work the same way as in LibreOffice, eg. first you select the color, then mark a piece of text, and it gets colored/highlighted. Actually, at least in LO 5.3.2.2 text and highlight color selectors behave slightly differently, if you select text color from the picker, you can type with that color, but with the highlight color picker you always have to select the text afterwards (or beforehand). Actually #2, the mouse pointer should change to a bucket like it does in LibreOffice. - Issue 3: this comes from how the coloring works, since you're supposed to select the text at this point, the (slightly different) caret follows the mouse pointer (same as in LO). So some fixes would be needed here to make using colors behave similarly to LO. At the same time I hope the general behavior makes more sense now. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
