[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107613] New: Text colour change in a new line not working
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107613 Bug ID: 107613 Summary: Text colour change in a new line not working Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.3.2.2 release Hardware: x86 (IA32) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: 3191602...@qq.com Description: When I write a text and press "Enter", the cursor goes into the next line. There I want to begin the new text in a new colour. I click on the icon for the text colour (the little "a" icon on the toolbar), and the cursor changes into the colour dropper can. Like the one when you want to fill an object with a certain colour. This fill in function does nothing when I click the mouse. The text is still black although I had selected another colour. To exit this dead end, I have to press the "Esc" button. When I do that, the text I type in is of the colour I had picked previously. I use win 10, on Dell xps15, model 2017. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Press "Enter" 2. Click on the icon "a" and select another colour 3. The cursor changes into the "fill" can 4. Type some text - the colour has not changed. It is still default colour (for me that is black). 6. Press "Esc" button, the cursor returns (the "fill" can disappears) 7. Type the text and it will come out in the new colour Actual Results: No colour change for the new text. Expected Results: Colour change applied to the new text. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 98415] Size of an image is not always correctly set
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98415 sworddrag...@aol.com changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEEDINFO|UNCONFIRMED Ever confirmed|1 |0 --- Comment #4 from sworddrag...@aol.com --- (In reply to Buovjaga from comment #2) > You did not mention, if you had resized the image before step 1. I did not > resize. I don't remember but I think for Writer's view the image was on its original size. On trying to reproduce this with Calc 5.3.1.2 and creating an image with a dimension of 200px x 258px and inserting it it has now a width of 5.77cm and a height of 7.45cm instead of the 5.42cm x 7.00cm as at the time I have reported this issue. However, on going into "Properties..." from the image context menu and replacing the image on the "Image" register with one that has a dimension of 166px x 250px and changing back to the "Type" register the width and height is still 5.77cm x 7.45cm and clicking on "Original Size" doesn't change these values which seems now to be an incorrect behavior. If I try to workaround this issue by pressing "OK" first after replacing the image and reopening "Properties..." from the context menu of the image again and then going to the "Type" register, clicking "Original Size", "Keep ratio" and then changing back the height to 7.45cm again the width is shown as 4.95cm (sometimes even as 4.94cm so there seems to be still a bug here) and on pressing OK the image looks still distorted while it shouldn't and on going to "Properties..." from the image context menu again the width is now shown as 5.77cm. As this post shows there are several bugs on this task and maybe they should be just split into its own tickets. If I'm now not totally wrong the only partially fixed thing is now: >- At 2. I would expect to see a width of 4.65 cm instead of 5.43 cm. in case it is not a consequence of the workaround because I saw now the lower width but it seems it was now just not correctly applied to the image on clicking "OK". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I wonder if some users would want to disable this > feature for performance reasons (maybe while working on very large > documents?). Well printing the most accurate document would always be in the user's interest so i doubt there would be an issue there. For save, which a user can do multiple times in a session, if the updating of the ToC can always be done with minimal performance reduction to the saving process, then that would be idea. Else it should be done when the user saves during closing the document, which would only occur once. @Heiko: What's your take? @Muhammet: So you gonna take this back on as its been 6 months? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Save it, e.g. with name "Alphabetic". Notice, this will generate/update the file "chapter.cfg" in the folder Config in the user directory. This files contains the numbering definitions, so that they can be used independent of a document. The file is an XML-file and can be read in an editor. 5. Start a new document. 6.
