Reproduced with LibreOffice5.3.2.2 on Win8.1

But in LibreOffice5.4.0.0a1, result is different.
No popup is displayed.
Version info is displayed in command-line.
Regardless of the existence of '--headless' option. Same result.

I expect this problem resolved with release of LibreOffice5.4.

Confirmed that the problem is still present with Calc 5.3.2.2. Scrolling by
whole lines is jarring and unnatural. And as mentioned, implementing proper
pixel-by-pixel scrolling will also resolve

Text colour bug

Attachment shows the "a" text colour tool is selected, and the cursor turned
into the "fill" icon. The text, if I type it from here, remains black, not dark
red, as selected (that's just my selection for this example). To turn it into
the cursor again, I must press "esc" now. When I do that, the text will come
out in the new selected colour.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107613] New: Text colour change in a new line not working

2017-05-03 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107613

Bug ID: 107613
Summary: Text colour change in a new line not working
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.3.2.2 release
  Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: 3191602...@qq.com

Description:
When I write a text and press "Enter", the cursor goes into the next line.
There I want to begin the new text in a new colour. I click on the icon for the
text colour (the little "a" icon on the toolbar), and the cursor changes into
the colour dropper can. Like the one when you want to fill an object with a
certain colour.

This fill in function does nothing when I click the mouse. The text is still
black although I had selected another colour.

To exit this dead end, I have to press the "Esc" button. When I do that, the
text I type in is of the colour I had picked previously.

I use win 10, on Dell xps15, model 2017.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Press "Enter"
2. Click on the icon "a" and select another colour
3. The cursor changes into the "fill" can
4. Type some text - the colour has not changed. It is still default colour (for
me that is black).
6. Press "Esc" button, the cursor returns (the "fill" can disappears)
7. Type the text and it will come out in the new colour

Actual Results:
No colour change for the new text.

Expected Results:
Colour change applied to the new text.

Description:
NNBSP (U+202F Narrow No-Break SPace) in Mongolian texts fail to change the form

The first line does not specified the font, NNBSP is rendered with default font
and surrounding letter failed to jion, the second line is specified using
Mongolian Baiti, NNBSP is rendered with Mongolian Baiti and surrounding letter
joined with that.

When NNBSP is surrounded by Mongolian/Manchu letters, this sbace should
rendered with the same font used for Mongolian text to make the surrounding

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107610] New: FILEOPEN PPTX: wrong default fonts for non English text

2017-05-03 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107610

Bug ID: 107610
Summary: FILEOPEN PPTX: wrong default fonts for non English
text
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.3.2.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: ofirr@gmail.com

Description:
PPTX has default font for Heading and Body for each language.
Impress correctly chose the default font for English but choose wrong default
fonts for Hebrew.

The attached PPTX has 3 columns of text.
The left column has English text with the default heading font.
The center column has Hebrew text with the default heading font.
The right column has Hebrew text with the same font as the default heading font
but this time the font is specified manually instead of using the default.

The blue rectangles show that the text has the expected position and size.
The orange rectangle show that the chosen font is wrong and the text exceeds
the rectangle.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the attached PPTX. Times New Roman and Calibri fonts are required.
2. See that the orange rectangle doesn't fit the text in the middle column.
3. Check the font in the middle column and see that it is not the default font
for heading in Hebrew. It should be "Times New Roman".

Actual Results:
Impress use the wrong default font for Heading and Body Hebrew text.
It probably use the default English font.

Expected Results:
The default Hebrew font should be Times New Roman.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107606] New: New kind of table styles should not use fonts "Thorndale " and "Andale Sans UI"

2017-05-03 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107606

Bug ID: 107606
Summary: New kind of table styles should not use fonts
"Thorndale" and "Andale Sans UI"
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.3.2.2 release
  Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: rb.hensc...@t-online.de

Insert a simple table in a Writer document. Apply the table style "Yellow" from
the new category "Table" in the Style dialog.

That writes the element into file styles.xml. This
references a element with style-name="Yellow.1" of family
"table.cell". Look into its text-properties. You will find the font "Thorndale"
for western and "Andale Sans UI" for asian.

Both fonts are not available in a LibreOffice installation. Both fonts were
used by Sun for StarOffice and StarSuite, not even OpenOffice.org had them.
Therefore LibreOffice should not write these fonts into a template.

(In reply to Buovjaga from comment #2)
> You did not mention, if you had resized the image before step 1. I did not
> resize.

I don't remember but I think for Writer's view the image was on its original
size.

On trying to reproduce this with Calc 5.3.1.2 and creating an image with a
dimension of 200px x 258px and inserting it it has now a width of 5.77cm and a
height of 7.45cm instead of the 5.42cm x 7.00cm as at the time I have reported
this issue. However, on going into "Properties..." from the image context menu
and replacing the image on the "Image" register with one that has a dimension
of 166px x 250px and changing back to the "Type" register the width and height
is still 5.77cm x 7.45cm and clicking on "Original Size" doesn't change these
values which seems now to be an incorrect behavior.

If I try to workaround this issue by pressing "OK" first after replacing the
image and reopening "Properties..." from the context menu of the image again
and then going to the "Type" register, clicking "Original Size", "Keep ratio"
and then changing back the height to 7.45cm again the width is shown as 4.95cm
(sometimes even as 4.94cm so there seems to be still a bug here) and on
pressing OK the image looks still distorted while it shouldn't and on going to
"Properties..." from the image context menu again the width is now shown as
5.77cm.

As this post shows there are several bugs on this task and maybe they should be
just split into its own tickets.

If I'm now not totally wrong the only partially fixed thing is now:

>- At 2. I would expect to see a width of 4.65 cm instead of 5.43 cm.

in case it is not a consequence of the workaround because I saw now the lower
width but it seems it was now just not correctly applied to the image on
clicking "OK".

Dont get the point why someone wants to print/save without updating the TOC.
But Benjamin would also want to refresh it manually to ensure that things went
right. Similar to a print preview. Putting that together an auto update
checkbox being enabled by default sounds reasonable to me.

TDF only builds against GTK+2 and the GTK+3 backend is still a work in
progress, so GTK+2 will be around for a long time, and as such, it is more used
and more tested.

Well printing the most accurate document would always be in the user's interest
so i doubt there would be an issue there. For save, which a user can do
multiple times in a session, if the updating of the ToC can always be done with
minimal performance reduction to the saving process, then that would be idea.
Else it should be done when the user saves during closing the document, which
would only occur once.

@Heiko: What's your take?

@Muhammet: So you gonna take this back on as its been 6 months?

In attached PPTX (slide 49 in attachment 53342 from Bug 42753), LO doesn't
import table style so table is black instead of colored for header row

LO supports all this but it doesn't work here.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107603] New: Crash in: mergedlo.dll

2017-05-03 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107603

Bug ID: 107603
   Summary: Crash in: mergedlo.dll
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.2.6.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: rb.hensc...@t-online.de

This bug was filed from the crash reporting server and is
br-26dc3e44-5e85-435c-85d5-30e2d43524bd.
=

How to reproduce:
1. Go to Tools > Outline Numbering
2. Make some settings, e.g. setting first level to ABC.
3. Click on button Format. You get a drop-down list.
4. Click on the item "Save as" from that list. Save it, e.g. with name
"Alphabetic".

Notice, this will generate/update the file "chapter.cfg" in the folder Config
in the user directory. This files contains the numbering definitions, so that
they can be used independent of a document. The file is an XML-file and can be
read in an editor.

5. Start a new document.
6. Go to Tools > Outline Numbering.
7. Click on button Format. You will see your just generated chapter numbering
template "Alphabetic". Click on it to load it. ==> Crash.

Saving of lists to HTML works very strange (tested in LibreOffice 5.1.6.2 and
5.3.2.2):

The issue seems quite language dependent:

"wederrechtelijkez" (dutch)
Instant in versie: 4.4.6.3
Acceptable but still a noticeable delay in Versie: 5.3.3.1
Really slow in (3 sec): Version: 5.4.0.0.alpha1+

"Entscheidungstheoretischc" (german)
Instant in versie: 4.4.6.3
1 sec delay in 5.3.3.1 and 5.4.0.0.alpha1+

"Superciliousnessxd"
Instant in three versions

A second case -- similar problems when inserting questions (for example copying
a question to the place between the second and the third question)

There's a related case, I attach an example. When using a document for creating
examinations... there are important problems when inserting questions (for
example copying a question to the place between the second and the third
question). None of the workarounds described previously seems to work. I'll
attach some screenshots.

However, Word is able to do that as it was expected (although it's not
free/libre software :-) so it's not really comparable ).

Thanks!

Bug ID: 107602
Summary: Fileopen: no color line style around equation object
in PPTX
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: Inherited From OOo
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: gti...@gmail.com

Created attachment 133036

Test PPTX

In attached PPTX (slide 25 in attachment 53342 from Bug 42753), LO doesn't
import red square lines around equation objects (Cte, Ctc, Cta).
It says: line style = none.
