[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 41063] Saving/Autosaving (Save/Autosave) while in table causes view to jump to cursor position
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41063 --- Comment #62 from Mike Kaganski--- (In reply to Thomas Lendo from comment #59) > I tested the jump at autosave/save issue with an old file created with OOo > 3.0.1 in 2009. No jumps occur with that file. > (https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=99963) This isn't related to a version that created the file. It turns out that no jump to table happens when cursor is in a *list* inside a table (the last two paragraphs in second table's right cell are part of a bullet list). Creating a list in any other table and putting cursor there prevents jumping back in any document. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107965] Formatting Commands Fail with Multiple Cells
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107965 --- Comment #2 from Kevin--- After more research, this is a particularly severe bug. The attached spreadsheet is just the tip of the iceberg. This manifests itself in many ways, especially if the spreadsheet is imported from Excel, which, after all, is the whole point - make it easy for users to migrate from Excel. Here's a broader way of explaining the problem: At the very core of UI design philosophy is the idea that the user selects something, and then acts on it. If I type control-A and select every cell in a spreadsheet, and go to the toolbar and choose Courier, or Bold, or 12 pts - that attribute should be applied to every character in every cell. This is how every program works. To not behave this way is a bug so fundamental that there can be no argument - yes? Something is getting corrupted in the internal description of the cell contents such that various attributes can't be changed with the normal UI commands. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

As they are custom colors, in the custom palette. > With the new color picker they must be saved in the "custom" palette. But > this is--in a user's perspective--not convenient. Why should the color of > Data Series 13 be added (and chosen) in "custom" palette and colors of Data > Series 1-12 chosen in "chart" palette (or wherever). Well Data Series 13 wasnt defined in the old standard palette, so if it is a different color than the one automatically generated internally by LO, it would have to go under the custom palette. > Additionally the whole options dialog of charts default colors must be > revamped or deleted at all. The "chart colors" list will be obsolete if > chart colors will have their own palette. Once we have chart color presets added to the wizard and chart type dialogs (bug 90307, bug 90490), that tab in the options dialog would be obsolete. In Word the setting is enabled for the whole table. In LO if you select a cell/row in the rows where cells are merged (rows 1-2), the setting is disabled instead of being enabled. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107930] Help needs to be corrected and amended for Recalculation
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107930 --- Comment #3 from Timur--- Not sure. Please improve: Recalculates all changed formulas that otherwise have caches values which are normally used for performance reasons. Recalculation options are set in Menu/Tools/Options - LibreOffice calc/Formula/Recalculation on file load with values. If AutoCalculate is enabled, the Recalculate command applies only to formulas like RAND or NOW. Press F9 to recalculate selected cells. A soft recalculation only recalculates dirty cells and it' useful if you disable automatic recalculation. The Add-In functions like RANDBETWEEN currently cannot respond to the Recalculate command or F9. Press Shift+Ctrl+F9 to recalculate all formulas in the document, including the Add-In functions. The hard recalculation should correctly recalculate all the cells. After the document has been recalculated, the display is refreshed. All charts are also refreshed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
