Steps to Reproduce:
Incorrect behaviour (and the reason for this bug ticket)
1. Open “accessKey.odf”
2. Select cell D3
3. Press and hold the ‘Ctrl’ key
4. Press and release the ‘c’ key (for copy)
5. Press the downArrow key, i.e. ↓ or ▼
6. Release the downArrow key
7. Press and release the ‘v’ key (for paste)
8. If warning dialog box “You are pasting data into cells that already
contain data. Do you really want to overwrite the existing data?” appears,
Select ‘Yes’ by pressing and releasing the ‘Enter’ key
9. Repeat steps 5 and 8 to arrive at D24 (which does not happen)
10. Release the ‘Ctrl’ key
The cells that are traversed are:
D3, D5, D7, D9, D11, D13, D15, D17, D19, D21, D23, D25
The cells that have data should only be traversed as the ‘Ctrl’ key is pressed.

Correct behaviour
1. Open “accessKey.odf”
2. Select cell D3
3. Press and hold the ‘Ctrl’ key
4. Press the downArrow key, i.e. ↓ or ▼
5. Release the downArrow key
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you arrive at D24
7. Release the ‘Ctrl’ key
Only cells with data are traversed, being:
D3, D5, D7, D9, D11, D13, D15, D18, D20, D22, D24

Actual Results:  
If accessKey 'v' (for paste) is used in conjunction with 'Ctrl' the amount of
each movement remains as 2 (seems to be the first amount of movement) instead
of moving to the next non-empty cell.

Expected Results:
Only cells with data should be traversed.

As Timur mentioned in comment 11, the issue boils down to the "Layout in table
cell" position option being set in the docx and LO not being able to handle it.

Here is the relevant xml - 

@Regina: is there an equivalent odf attribute that the position of an object
takes the table cell top left corner as the basis of its positioning rather
than the page's top left corner?

@Justin, @Mike: would it be simple enough to take the cell's top corner value
and add it to the image's top corner value to give it its correct top corner
value based on the page's top corner?

You can use non-palette colors in Word 2003 and the original docx file
mentioned in comment 0 used the same cyan color. Maybe kingsoft is saving it in
a way that LO isnt able to understand but is part of the spec. All i know is
that Word 2003/2007/2010 and WPS Writer all show it as RGB(0,114,198) and LO is
opening it as RGB(0,128,128).

Most slide transitions use OpenGL, the OpenGL that can be disabled in the
options dialog is rendering of the UI with OpenGL.

@Meeks, @Tomaz: Any thoughts on this, as i could have swarn there was some bug
that when a VM was set with a specific amount of memory or something like that,
that it caused transition crashes.

So i dug into the XML and see that if the  child tag is in the

I attempted to trim the file down to just the single triangle page, and even
when setting it to maintain compatibility it added the , so i
trimmed the file down to also show the previous and next triangles and then it
didnt add the .

The attached DOC file, created in Word 2013 contains a Text Form Field (Legacy
Form).
Copy the line of text, and paste it as a second line.
Save and reopen the document.

=> The pasted field shows multiple of text "FORMTEXT" over it.

I'm not sure what this kind of field corresponds to in LibreOffice, in Word the
field has a bunch of properties (none of them have been set or changed in
Word).

Observed with LO 6.0 daily build (2017-09-22_22:54:52,
0db08432c69adc36ed464c1f7c8e672acb3752d) & 5.3.0.3 / Windows 7.
Not reproducible with LO 5.2.0.4.
=> regression

I copied and pasted the text from a PDF-file in browser. For some reason, the
spaces were removed automagically. Few of those removed spaces may also be due
to my lousy macro. If it is the last one, the macro did exactly, what I
described in my first comment. Hope that helped.

is not a global dialog action.

This is an easy hack. The dialog file is cui/uiconfig/ui/certdialog.ui; just
edit that in Glade.

is NOT a way to go. I expect that PrtToScreenFactor varies with environments
thus leading to different on-screen results. Can you confirm this?


I am wondering why LibreOffice has this (OOo-inherited) implementation this
way. If printer output varies different on every environment I think it would
make more sense to use such a factor to adjust the printer output instead of
the on-screen output. Just my two cents...

I see quite a possibility the new slowness is caused by the issue combined in
this metabug: bug 112486 (introduced with 5.3.2.2) Reading that 5.2.7.2 is OK

- with o acopy of the table in a new document

I don't use Writer much so can't comment on that. But the general sentiment of
the title definitely holds true for me. I have several spreadsheets which I use
very often that just take annoyingly long to load on mac, but load very quickly
on my Windows PC. The worst though is Impress, spreadsheets take forever to
load and are just extremely cumbersome to work with, especially when there are
any images or attachments of any kind. 

The whole suite just feels so sluggish on mac, yet it feels snappy and fine on
Windows. Should be noted that there are many many reports of performance issues
on Mac in the last few years. Just search google for "libreoffice slow mac" to
find many examples.

Thank you for confirming. I don't feel I'm the only one anymore. Just curious
if you've tried to print LibreOffice Writer document yet?  Does it only print
landscape?

I work on this bug and use getnameinfo() instead of suggested getaddrinfo()
since all we need from this is host's name. Am I missing something?

I round-tripped the file from comment 1 in MSO2003.  LibreOffice properly shows
a cyan color on those round-tripped files. So, does this mean that Kingsoft
used a non-palette color, and MSO automatically converts it to the nearest
palette color?

I can reproduce this bug.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open attachment from comment 7
2. Save as doc
3. Open in LO 5.2.7.2 => everything is fine (like attachment in comment 3)
4. Open in LO 5.4.2.1 => looks like in attachment from comment 1

=> Set to NEW and added keyword regression

Hello, it works if you check "Keep ratio" first and then you change Width. But
when you first change Width and then you check "Keep ratio" then it doesn't
work.

Works
- I right-clic the picture -> properties
- I check "Keep ratio"
- I set Achor to paragraph, Size -> Width -> relative to paragraph area, I left
alone the height. I set the width to "something", say 100%.
- I Click "OK"

Interesting 5.3.4 doesn't crash for jebsolutions. 
5.3.0 crashes for me and 4.2 and 4.4 don't. I'll mark regression and say it
blocks Bug 103704. Not sure for Bug 93529.
