The bug 99286 DID NOT solve this bug. See the bug 113116 and the last comments
in the discussion of the bug 99286 for test-cases that the bug is still present
in 5.4.2.2 and 6.0.0.0.alpha0+.
(BTW, the bug 113116 was marked as CONFIRMED before being marked as duplicate;
so this one should be CONFIRMED too; although I'm not sure if it was correct to
mark as duplicate, because this one is about 4.1.6.2 and that one was said to
be a "regression introduced in the 5.0 cycle".)

This issue for border line style is still present in LibreOffice 5.4.2.2 (x64)
on Windows 10, tested with NVDA 2017.3.  Re comment 2 about the border
arrangements "Set all four borders", "Set left and right borders" etc, these
seem to read correctly for me.

open your file
change data , refresh pivot table, save

Using Impress 5.4.2.2 (x64) on Windows 10 and using NVDA 2017.3.  With the
document properties pane visible on the right sidebar, when I press page up or
down to move between slides, it reads the slide type "title slide", "title,
content" etc.  With any other right sidebar pane, it either reads nothing, or
repeats the same information (eg "drawing view" for every slide with "slide
transition sidebar).

With the Navigator sidebar, it at least tells you which slide (slide 1, slide
2, slide 3 - these are not the names of my slides).

In any case, as per the title of this ticket, the information is broadly not
useful (perhaps unless keeping the navigator sidebar open), and should not be
using information from the sidebar anyway.  It should read some or all of slide
number, title or slide text, and / or some other property that could be
reasonably expected to be relatively unique and identifiable for each slide.

F6 will get to the slide pane after the File menu, Standard toolbar and Drawing
Toolbar (on the default setup).  When it gets to this, it announces "Toolbar,
button" with the focus on the close button for the slide pane, so it would be
easy to miss.

The identification of objects is problematic on that slide pane.  That "button"
the focus initially moves to should be identified as "close button" or similar.
 When you press tab from that, you get to the list of slides, but only the
slide layout type, eg: "Title slide", "Title, content" is announced, not the
slide number of title text of the slide.

Saving the file in Excel after repairing it, then reopening in LO, LO
recognizes the pivot table. When the file is reopened in Excel yet again the
error has disappeared and interoperability of file has been restored between LO
and Excel.

Errannt LO created XLSX file

XLSX file created in LO Linux, then opened in Excel 2010 and Excel 2013, Excel
reports "Excel found unreadable content". Happens especially when the XLSX file
contains a pivot table created by LO. This issue is intermittent and been in LO
Calc for a long time (at least a couple years).  

How to recreate:
1. Open attached file in Excel 2010 or Excel 2013. 

Version of Excel I used is "Version: 14.0.4760.1000 (32 bit)"

Answering "Yes" to Excel's dialog to recover the file works and the errant
spreadsheet can be recovered. Saving the recovered file in Excel and then
reopening in LO also works and interchangeability is restored.

XLS does not have this issue.

Thanks! But that’s a LITTLE but too much for my muscle memory, I’ll stick with

If someone could include a shortcut button for this in the inspector, that

No plans currently, but you can workaround it this way:

1) Open Writer and the navigator (at least once).
2) From the menu File > Close.
3) Menu Tools > Options..., switch to LibreOffice > Advanced, click on "Open
Expert Configuration".
4) In the search box type "swriter/10366", Hit Enter.
5) Double click on the "Data" property.
6) Find the number "16" there, and replace with "4" (so now it looks something
like "V2,V,128,AL:(4,4,0/0/270/240,270;240)")

Next time you open Writer, you'll have the navigator docked to the left. Of
course you can also start LO once under X and dock it there.

That's a hard question. I think it _might_ be possible to achieve using a
subsurface instead of a toplevel, but no evidence that such solution will fit
with this use-case, and anyway will require some big changes to the code. So
don't expect it to happen anytime soon.

1) Global solution: Just use command aliases. IMHO makes no sense to add a
dedicated property for that, as it will add a lot of complexity for a small
gain.
2) Per-xml solution: There is already menu:style="text", but it doesn't work
the way we want, so it's worth fixing.

Sorry, there already are RPM images… but still: Flatpak would be awesome!

If Ctrl+Shift+O of 6.0 is the same as Ctrl+Shift+M of 5.4, then it now works –
but the page gets displaced thereby!

In the log, there is „X server found“ – although I run Wayland. Is this a bug?

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today I couldn't reproduce this
with "gtk3" but could with "gtk", "kde4" and "gen" renderings.

With gtk3, I couldn't close the parent "color replacer" window.

Perhaps the parent window shouldn't be closeable for other renderings?

Description:
If only 1 document is opened at the Writer, then everything Ok. Just after you
open second document a new tabs appear. They look like tabs in browsers and
work well, but they are shown on the top of the window and over existing
toolbars. So they make the toolbar partly inaccessible. 

It seems I faced the problem only on Mac iOS, but I'm not sure. The problem
appeared quite long time ago. I hoped developers manage to fix it soon, but it
remains, so I decided to file the bug. 

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Writer
2.Open more than 1 document


Actual Results:  
Document tabs appear above standard toolbar. 

Expected Results:
Tabs should appear at another place, which doesn't prevent access to toolbar. 
Also I suppose there should be a way to get rid of the tabs at all.

I have retested this using both an updated PCLinuxOS install and Ubuntu 17.04
and in these test the print worked as needed. I used format page to landscape,
copied & pasted text used from previous test, printedall text was printed
correctly in landscape format.  It appears this has been fixed but the version
of LibreOffice on Ubuntu is older than the version found on PCLOS. Perhaps an
"operator error" on my part? But it is working now, so I am happy.

Checked the xml code between attachment 103906 and the problem seem to be that
the WWNum32 list style isnt being imported correctly from /word/numbering.xml
and showing it as 36pt when the xml clearly shows 72pt.

Andreas set this so it appears in the notebookbar and preferable it shouldnt

the menu entry is vnd.sun.star.findbar:FocusToFindbar and this should be turned

LO 5.4.2 is not the LO version provided by Ubuntu 16.04. Did you install the
PPA version or the vanilla version provided by LibreOffice website ?

Did you play with the settings for window positioning in compiz configuration ?

Bug still present in 5.4.2.2, Linux Mint Mate 18.2. It's changed a bit, in that
the insert dialog goes away, but you still have to recalculate (F9), or make
some other change to the document for the insertion to be shown. Same symptoms
still exist in a recent daily build of 6.0.0.0.alpha0.

Glad you were able to test it thoroughly and think it is worth backporting if
all is well.

My suggestion is that we add a key in the .xcu file named something like
SidebarVersion and if this value isnt '6.0', then we reset all the sidebar UI
settings to default, and then set SidebarVersion to 6.0. This is solve all the
various issues for people who are in upgrading from a profile that doesnt have
the correct behaviour.

Thanks for the insight.

Tested 3.3, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.4 and 6.0 alpha 1 and in none of these versions
did it work with Windows' OS dialog, so not sure how this is a regression.

In 3.3 and 6.0 alpha 1, if using LO's file dialogs, it works fine.

Very nice to see this working now. Yay!

Needs a bit of testing, but this now is allowing the customization (from
defaults) of the Sidebar to retain last usage per module for each deck.

Description:
Today, the main operating systems support the idea of using CSD, in addition,
there are initiatives for the design of the decorations are consistent and
respect the configuration of users (eg window controls).

With CSD LibreOffice you would gain more vertical space by making better use of
the available space, something necessary for small monitors and the new layouts
of MUFFIN. On the other hand it would gain visual consistency with the
applications of the different operating systems supported.

OpenGL enabled:

For arabic alphabet languages, LO only lists persian, uyghur, punjabi and urdu
under CTL and there are unicode characters that are unique to most of these
languages.

Guessing based on locale is definitely helpful to some degree if a user lives
in a country that a particular language is highly used in.

I've followed every step from
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Deployment_and_Migration and it works fine
with LibreOffice 5.1
But when I tried to deploy the latest version this way it does nothing. I could
add LibreOffice 5.4.2 to GPO but the client's doesn't install it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. add libreoffice to gpo
2. restart client
3. not installing

Actual Results:  
not installed

Expected Results:
installed
