Here we go again. I have a file where opening the odp with a zip tool, I see
two perfectly identical (same CRC) png files corresponding to the same wmf.

Furthermore, when this happens, one of the copies of that image appearing in
the presentation gets deteriorated, as if rather than using the "perfect"
vector version, LibO started using just a png for it.

Unfortunately, this stuff on which I am having the issue is not particularly
sensitive, but includes vector versions of the template used for slides at my
Institution and should not be openly shared.

Its reproducible in 5.1 and above. Earlier than 5.1, the pointer doesnt appear
in RTL. Also to be noted is that the pointer that shows in RLT isnt the same as
the one in LTR.

This will also happen in normal screen mode with "Prefer tabs when opening
documents" set to Always. It's a problem in full screen mode too, but that

If this is related to the desktop "full screen app" concept, I can only once
again repeat my opinion that we should remove from LibreOffice all our broken
attempts to support that. It t is silly to have both that and LibreOffice's own
"full screen" concept. (They are not in sync at all.) If we really want to have
a proper (macOS native) "full screen" thing on macOS, it should completely
replace the built-in cross-platform "full screen" thing.

Dear Xisco Faulí,

I've installed the latest version of Libre Office and try to reproduce the bug.
AS I see the new checkbox "Decimal separator:" (I'm ask to excuse me if I use
wrong terms because it translation from Russian) "from local setting" is
appeared. The symbol in parentheses (the comma or the point) is defined
correctly as it is set in local setting of Windows when I chose the local
setting as "Standard - Russian". But unfortunately regardless of whether the
box set or not the decimal separator becomes a comma.

I would like mention that the symbol in parentheses should be refreshed after
the changing of the local setting like it happens for currency and dates, but
it is not now.

I followed the steps to reset my profile to default, but I was still able to
re-create the issue using the same steps of steps.

I don't believe I've installed any fonts outside of the defaults that come with
my distro. I noticed libreoffice defaulted to liberation as the default font
but I didn't have the liberation fonts installed, but after installing the
liberation fonts I still see the issue.

I'm not sure a font is the issue in any case, because if I do the same set of
steps (just without the sidebar enabled, instead clicking the font dropdown
from the default horizontal toolbar) I don't get a crash.

Description:
Libreoffice crashes when using the 'sidebar' toolbar layout if you click the
font dropdown menu before exiting the program

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open libreoffice writer
2. Go to view | toolbar layout | sidebar
3. On the sidebar, under the character heading, click the arrow for the font
dropdown menu (don't select a font, just click the dropdown icon)
4. Click the dropdown icon again to close the dropdown
5. Click File | Exit

Actual Results:  
When you click exit, instead of closing cleanly you get a document recovery
window that says the program crashed

Expected Results:
Program should exit cleanly


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: No



Additional Info:
I was also able to reproduce this with the same steps in calc

If I don't use the sidebar I don't seem to get the crash with the same steps

XLXS file with autofilter

When opening a file with autofilter and subtotal saved as .xlxs the sum is
totalling all values and not only the filtered. When saved as .ods this sum is
showing the sum of the filtered values.

Expected that a file saved as .xlxs would sum the value correctly.

Also a hard recalculation does not update, but only editing the formula.


How to verify this bug

1. In row 1 we make in column A Index and B Amount
2. In column a we make to indexes called a and be in row 3 and row 7 the below
values:
Index   amount
a   1
b   4
a   2
b   5
a   3
b   6

3. Now mark row 1 and use Data/Autofilter to enable filtering.
4. Open the filter using the dropdown for Column A and press on all to have no
values marked.
5. Now mark value a
6. Use the icon for summing in B9.
7. This creates the formula =Subtotal(9,B2:B8) and returns the value 6 which is
correct.
8. Now save the file as an ,XLXS file.
9. CLose the file and reopen it. Now the value is 21 which is incorrect.

Because with a German keyboard the keystroke combination STRG+; and
STRG+SHIFT+; isn't possible (";" is SHIFT+,), I changed the keystroke to STRG+.
and STRG+SHIFT+. in Calc and Writer.

But until a restart of LibreOffice, it wasn't possible to use
.uno:InsertDateField/.uno:InsertTimeField in Calc and
.uno:InsertCurrentDate/.uno:InsertCurrentTime in Writer with the same keystroke
combination.

When I added the keystroke combination to Writer, it was going ineffective in
Calc and the description name changed to the uno name. When I added it to Calc,
the same happens in Calc.

Can someone reproduce this behavior?


And another issue: If I change the UI from German to English, no keys are added
to the above mentioned commands. It's not visible in the Customization dialog
and it doesn't work. When changing back to German it works again and is visible
in the Customization dialog.

Looks like a reasonable explanation for what I observed in my comment from 14
Jan (even if I'd very much prefer to have it configurable in the
"compatibility" options as this means saving all vector images twice - which
often make a difference from having a document suitable for being sent via
email or requiring some large file attachment service).

What remains unexplained is the case where I got 3 identical PNGs of the same
vector image in the odp file. They went away by resaving the doc with LibO 5.4,
so - unfortunately - right now I do not have a file for analysis.

I suspect, but I cannot be sure, that this occurred after importing master
pages in a presentation from another template, where these master pages from
the other template contained the same images that were already in the
presentation where they got imported. But I cannot be sure...

SVG images exported by Python's matplotlib are not clipped correctly, the
matplotlib developers have closed a corresponding bug report years ago,
describing the root cause in detail

The attached file renders correctly e.g. in Firefox.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. import the attached SVG-file into a drawing

Actual Results:  
The actual plot curve overlaps the axes.

Expected Results:
The actual plot curve should be within the plotting window.

Dear LibreOffice Team,

I've tried to LibreOffice on Debian with Gnome. The gnome desktop provides a
hotkey to move window to the right[Command+Right Arrow] or left[Command+Left
Arrow] or full screen[Command+Up Arrow] or Normal[Command+Down Arrow] using
hotkeys. 

Yet, this feature is not supported by LibreOffice, I wish this can be
integrated so the window operation on a wide screen can be easier.

Java runtime environment (JRE)...". And I wonder how you distinguish between

Cut labels in l10n with longer description than English

Strings in the new Cryptography section in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > User
Data don't wrap automatically if they are too long. This is true in languages
with longer description than in English, e.g. German.

1. A new line under "OpenPGP signing key: [No key]" should be added if the
localized label "OpenPGP signing key:" is too long.

2. A new line under "OpenPGP encryption key: [No key]" should be added if the
localized label "OpenPGP encryption key:" is too long.

3. The distance between label and text box should always be the same as in the
Address section above ("Company:   []" instead of
"OpenPGP-Signaturschlüssel:[No key]") and as it is in the English UI.

4. The localized string for "When encrypting documents, always encrypt to self"
behind the checkbox should wrap automatically to a new line(s) if necessary so
that the whole string is readable.

can provide steps to see problem without any third-party software, using only
LibreOffice and its commands, then it could be turned to a useful report.
